Ba Nyirenda, this is another incredible work. It’s rich and bringing out a message of renewal. No doubt responsible mothers are our Greatest pillars. On peaks and in troughs, they remain true to the call of parenthood.
Most Zambian mothers are very cruel. They treat children like personal slaves!
For most Zambian kids, there is not a day that passes without tears & pain caused by their mothers.
Most Zambian children are covered in scars from beatings and burns.

It just means that “mayo”has played a very big role in his life that she is viewed as one that also played the “father figure”. Of course, some, if not most Zambian fathers are careless, so some kids entirely depend on their mothers for everything during their upbringing. Obviously, it may not add up but it is an expression of saying to mother thanks for being everything, and standing up for me in every aspect of my life.
