MINISTER of Foreign Affairs Harry Kalaba is in Israel to officially open the Zambian embassy in that country.
And Zambia’s ambassador to Israel, Martin Mwanambale, says the Zambian diplomatic mission in Israel is strategic as Zambia has a lot to learn from the middle-east country’s advanced technology.
Mr Kalaba will also meet Israeli Prime Minister who is also Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Benjamin Netanyahu.
Israel is one of the countries with advanced technology in various sectors such as agriculture and energy, and Zambia hopes to tap this knowledge.
Mr Mwanambale said Mr Kalaba will hold meetings with Ministers of Social Equality, Gila Gamliel; Energy Yuval Steinitz; and the chairperson of the Israel-Africa Chamber of Commerce Eli Avidar.
Kalaba is busy, after playing so well in Kenya and already going to Israel?
You have made me day. Lol!
Let the Australian too come and open we are tired loosing money through paying agents to process our VISAs
“Zambia has a lot to learn from the middle-east country’s advanced technology”
That obviously does not make sense. We also have the means to convert knowledge into advanced technology and we must put resources to do so and stop lying to ourselves that we are a christian nation. Jesus was born in Bethlehem and Israel is not a religious state!
Our ambassador, Mwanambale, knows too well that the only thing Zambia can gain immediately is espionage techniques.
>>>>>>>And training from Mossad to exterminate the opposition in Zambia!
opening an embassy in Israel is a wise thing to do. I have seen how the Israeli techniology and work culture are advanced. On this one I say well done but continue doing better things without relaxing.
Instead of closing down embassies these empty tins are doing the opposite; this is recklessness its the selfsame thing the kwacha is depreciating rapidly too many dollars being misused.
Zambia can learn a lot from Israel. They have some of the most advanced farming , water persavation and power generation techniques. They are also looking for for allies and would gladly help Zambia in various fields. Well done.
Well done Zambia! God will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse her! Good move!
