  1. This is good news jobs AND looking good! Double whammy! I wish I knew this 2 weeks ago when I went to stock up for my holiday in Zambia in a few weeks time! I thought I would not find the stuff! Never mind! Welcome!

    • What good news? To me this is mental slavery. And you say you are a patriot?

When will we move away from European beauty ideals upheld by fake skinny models and chemical products? We need to start defining our own African beauty using natural Zambian products.

You will never see African enterprises being announced in European news headlines.

    • @nine Chale

This also means jobs and most importantly is clear indication of Zambia being a desirable business destination. MAC makes makeup for dark skins you know.

I am a patriot for supporting my democratically elected gov’t and not for make- up! It’s mental slavery to always respond like a slave!

    • What jobs when they send you finished packaged products by cargo which you simply place on the shelves? Stacking shelves!!
Wake up from your docility and silliness…remember “black like me” products manufactured by RSA black entrepreneur in 1985 that revolutionized the black hair industry? Do you know the story behind that and how he empowered his people with real jobs…look at that picture above its no wonder you are mentally enslaved to hate yourselves and your beautiful melanin rich skin.
WAKE UP from your folly and study about self!!

    • Nine chale – well spoken. they are bringing things which will further enslave our people. They will continue to afflict our people with beauty standards that envisaged in a slim white woman. Dont invite such people to Zambia. They are not even making the products but just opening up a shop where you can buy and the whole lot of a minister is going to grace this nonsense? what is wrong with us? And this minister is one of our so called educated brains we have? There is little hope kanshi!!!!!

  2. ARE THEY NOT SUPPOSED TO OPEN A MANUFACTURING BRANCH OF THE SAME PRODUCTS IN ZAMBIA, RATHER THAN A TRADING STORE IN ZAMBIA? THIS MEANS INCREASED IMPORTS FROM USofA. THIS IS ACTUALLY EXPORTING JOBS TO AMERICA. WERE THEY TOLD ABOUT THE MFEZs?

  3. No manufacturing to happen in Zambia under PF. That is too much work for them to organise. They would rather officiate the opening of stores where they can get commissions.

    • Any chance to get “goodie bags” of free mac products Minister Margaret Mwanakatwe will not turn down the opportunity ..so much for value addition…what a shame!!
