The opposition UPND have accused the ruling PF of beating up and killing Lewis Mwila one of its members in Chilanga.
UPND Spokesperson Charles Kakoma said Mwila was murdered yesterday for merely mobilizing on behalf of his party.
He said the suspected PF cadres took Mr Mwila to a bush and beat him to his death and later hanged his body to purport that he committed suicide.
He said Mr Mwila had earlier reported threats on his life from members of the PF to the police in the area but the police did not take any action.
Mr Kakoma who condemned the killing said it was hypocrisy for president Lungu to continue paying lip service to the escalating violence being perpetrated by known members of his party instead of taking action to stop the scourge.
Family members and friends of deceased told Muvi TV that Lewis lodged complaints to the police about the PF cadres who were trailing him and his friends over their move to work with Keith Mukata and the UPND, but as usual the PF police being headed by Kakoma Kanganja rubbished the complaint despite showing them anonymous letters to stop working with Hon. Mukata and the UPND.
According to Muvi TV, in the evenings of 5 April 2016 PF thugs abducted, killed and hanged the body of Lewis Mwila with a wire to a branch of a tree less than 1 metre from the ground. Passersby found Lewis’ Body in a sitting position in the early hours of Wednesday 6 April 2016.
Meanwhile, Chilanga member of parliament Keith Mukata regrets the death of Lewis charging that PF should go after him instead of gruesomely murdering innocent citizens who are exercising their democratic right of belonging to any political party of their choice.
As a political leader, its best to refrain from unsubstantiated accusations. Nobody knows for a fact that PF cadres killed this man. People are assuming based on his report to the police that PF cadres were trailing him. Can this allegation by Kakoma be proved? Does he have any facts to support his claims or its all hearsay? One can get sued for such utterances.
Keep quiet,how many PF murder cases have proved beyond reasonable doubt in courts ? If they kill somebody you are close to,then you will learn.

Mr Kakoma should be picked up by the police to ‘help with investigations’. It appears he has lots of information and he needs to prove it. This is a very serious crime and one needs to have data before accusing PF.
This is serious, so any death of a UPND is due to PF. It is only proper to allow the police do its work than politicising death. It is very bad to try to gain political mileage at the expense of a dead person. Every person is innocent until proven guilty by law. We hear of number of murders each day and it is not true that all of them are due to PF cadres.
This is very shameful, but knowing UPND and the HH mentality, they have no shame to feel as long as they want to paint PF bad. PF is not a bad party. It is made of a lot of good and God fearing people. This is very bad leadership by Mr. Kakoma and it UPND is trying to take any opportunity to fuel violence by working on the minds of its cadres.
PF will never accept anything. When UPND claimed that Grazer Matapa was killed by PF everyone called UPND names not until the courts of Law found PF members guilty and sentenced them death by hanging thats when PF Vuvuzela’s on this site stopped barking
We can also say that the ritual killings in Lusaka are the work of UPND cadres who want to make the PF government look like they are failing. If it is true for the other party, it must be true for the other.

Time and again, i have said that UPND is behind violence in this country. The color red is symbolic for sacrifices and violence and accidents. it is the reason UPND are quick to accuse PF but deep down they know it is by HH. Parties in power are always the most violent because they think they are in control. A word of wisdom to the paid PF cadres. This story made rounds in Kafue before Kakoma’s statement. The people of Kafue are forming opinions based on what is going around. For your information these are people who do not have access to fast internet. So shut the ars up.
But Kakoma is a leader and should refrain from making such allegations. In Zambia even when you are caught red handed you are presumed innocent until proved guilty in the court of law.
