Truth be told, I am scared sh!tless by all these very intelligent men and women. I have already stated that I have no vision beyond my tin of Chibuku and my Jameson.
Lungu can not participate in the debate because there is just no way he can debate with the articulate HH and Nawakwi, and Lungu has not basic understanding on economics.

I agree deeds speak louder than words so let us sonta
1.Unbudgeted and unplanned infrastructural developments which have left the country s economy bleeding
2.Spiralling inflation from 7% to 23%
3Exchange rates from K4.8 per dollar to K12
4.Worst budget deficit ever.
5 mealie meal price increase of over 400 %
6.Pangas on streets something we have never seen in our peaceful country
7.Rising interest rates from 12% to more than 40%
8.Most incompetent government which issues incoherent and uncoordinated statements from virtuallu all the PFools where you even forget who the government and party spokesperson is.
Scared sheetless, you mean? Sonta epo wabombela for making millions in such a short time!
Fat boy GBM has taken up all the space on his chair squeezing out Sampa who is on a separate chair.
Koma a UPND, surely chija chi mazidumbo maliketi chomwe chikonda ku zunza adzimai ndicho mungasanke kukhala VP?
koma a-PF, surely kaja ka chakolwa, kaminamisa kamwe kakonda ku zitundila kakakolwa ndiko mungasanke kunkhala President?

@mimi I live in Zambia on the Copperbelt, I am infact a former miner! I have observed that UPND has gained some serious momentum in their mobilisation on the Copperbelt. The most notable achievement ever since Anderson Mazoka (MHSRIP) was at the helm of the party. I have also noticed how shallow and hollow the UPND message is for the first time. The main thrust of message is, apart from the obvious lies about free education, that what the current government is doing UPND can do better because our President is an economists! Mr. Hichilema calls himself and economic manager??? What UPND should be doing is firstly appreciate the work that has already been done by the sitting Government (PF) but add on by explaining what is amiss and then elaborate on their methodologies, I do not see this in…

@Beenzu Hachoonde, that is the strategy you use when you are attempting to take over from a candidate from your party who has served two terms and has done well. For example Hillary!
In the Zambian situation, it is a fight you don’t want to score one for your opponent. To defeat an incumbent you don’t hip praises on him or people begin to doubt your sanity, especially in a nation like ours where the level of analysis does not go beyond what one can get.
Zambians don’t think like that. Otherwise the ministers would not have stayed beyond dissolution of parliament, Mutembo would not have been dragged through illogical tribunals, ZRA would not have closed down the Post, ECZ trucks would not have departed in the absence of observers and more importantly, Lungu would never have been…
Humble President Lungu is not so humble after all. Power has got into his head, thinks debate is too low for him. He doesnt know Zambians. Ask KK & RB.
Anyway 11-Aug is just 6 days away.
Ba LT why more pictures of HH?
Why not? It is a fact that he’s pulling bigger crowds than the rest on that podium. Like it or not this is a two horse race mate
For countries like USA, debates of this nature make sense, but for Zambia, it is only for show. My grandmother, and other people in rural Zambia do not know or care about these debates. The debate will not turn into any votes.
I think ECL did the right thing by continuing to campaign. PF needs to reach as many areas of Zambia as possible. ECL also out maneuvered HH who had well prepared to attack ECL at the debate but was very disappointing and was only attacking the wall or talking to himself.
Rubbish debates we practicle people belive in works
I personally think debate was a good idea as we just might change and turn our respective choice of vote responsibily….. Condemning the event is not a good idea especially that the world seem to adopt such way to woo voters at large. I wish PF would have taken this serious and out shine any contender in the run up election and dispell any doubt about thier vision. Question to ask is would we have said the same if PF had initiated the debate and HH did boycourt
The articulate loser?
Chakolwa was busy nursing hangovers and you got some stupid people who think humble and dullness are the same.
The truth is that by not attending this debate, ECL has kept his dignity and honour. Those who wanted to exploit political capital if he attended, have kissed dust. Now we understand you frustration and failure to do political injury to ECL. ECL has proved to on top of the political spectrum by not attending this debate. If you want to win do not show your weaknesses in public. HH was seen as a boastful man, he may have lost some of the undecided votes because of kubilima.
So Lutuku, you and your HH have be beaten by ECL by merely avoiding your at the debate. In developing countries, such debates have no impact. So, if you do not know, it is HH and ECL who have been negatively affected by this debate. How I wish MUVI can bring more of them , so that HH can further expose himself and…
To some reasons, it is so diminishing for the sitting to participate in such debates. But for Ecl ,who is known as a visionless leader, he could hv attended so that he proves himself capable.
GBM sitting like he is in labor.
Sinkamba was high
where is our president??????
Gbm can never be the veep of zambia, this is way too far fetched, can’t wait to hear who wins next week
Why is nobody commenting on Pastor Nashalaneka Mumba doing ukwalolo mwela eko nalola? What a disgrace of a man.
