Mighty Mufulira Wanderers will wait until Sunday to confirm their survival after losing 1-0 away to Red Arrows.
Mighty, Nchanga Rangers and Lumwana Radiants all failed to put the relegation script to bed after losing their respective games.
11th place Mighty lost 1-0 away at Red Arrows with Festus Mbewe there scoring the winner at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Lumwana Radiants who are just outside the bottom four stayed in 14th place after losing 1-0 away at Napsa Stars who won thanks to a Lukwembe Chisenga goal.
Kabwe Warriors also made Nchanga wait after a 3-2 home win in Kabwe.
Godfrey Ngwenya scored a brace while Mwansa Nsofwa got the other for Warriors.
Terry Mweshi scored Nchanga brace.
Mighty and Nchanga have 39 points while Lumwana are a point behind.
Lumwana, however, have a game in hand against third placed Zesco United at home on December 10.
The trio now await to hear the outcome of Sunday’s game between fourth from bottom Nakambala Leopards and Zesco in Ndola.
Nakambala have 35 points and have back-to-back dates against Zesco on December 4 in Ndola and December 7 in Mazabuka.
Meanwhile Nkwazi are already safe on 42 points after rallying to beat 5th placed Green Buffaloes 2-1 to jump from ninth to seventh.
Ashford Kalusa put Buffaloes ahead in the 27th minute but Nkwazi hit back through Keegan Phiri in the 54th minute before Jeff Banda handed the homeside the three points.
Power Dynamos finished the season at number four after a 2-1 away win over demoted Lusaka Tigers in Lusaka.
Martin Phiri scored a brace for Power while Malela Sapu was on target for Tigers.
