‘Inside the caterpillar.’
Kkkkkkkkkkl
Any earth moving machine is a Caterpillar!
All toothpaste is Colgate.
All detergents are Surf.
LT, grow up.
I once lived in Liteta (Half way Lusaka and Kabwe); my concern is for pedestrians. That road can not be a highway because of the high population living along it. My suggestion is building North American style freeways that take into account the population around the road and at the same time ensuring that traffic moves as fast as it can.
@Sifuchu, at Liteta is better, think of at Landless-corner and John-Chinena. This is where the expensive fly over bridges comes.
But for real this is better, except people will make markets between roads.
This is the goodest thing these guys have done. I have said it many times that accidents to minimize we need to make Lsk to Ndola dual. It will cost money and more money will be stolen but for me I am happy to see lives saved. I don’t care how much these thieves in the name of Lungu will still but one thing I know is that money does not make one happy worse off if it is stolen money. Plus also I know that even if they steal one day they will die. I mean dead just like all of us. So what is the benefit of stealing. Vanity upon vanity. steal but please complete the road.
Way to go Zambia. More power to the people! This is what is called people focused development. Nothing beats a combination of this type of policy + hard work + faith in God. God is at work through His people because we have chosen to be called by His name. We a choice to associate with the devil but we code the light. And now the Lord is blessing us. God Bless Zambia!
Even calling a theodolite ati microscope……
Good news; but this road should have been done before the projects in Muchinga; the cost is too much and the tar mac wont last long; Lungu should have allowed other political parties like the Weed party to offer their suggestions before awarding the contract to the Chinese company; a brand new free way should have been planned so that there are other ways to get to Ndola.
…and that is not a microscope LT. Its called a THEODOLITE.
Mybe the president was looking at bacteria. LT journalists coul have easily said ba lungu was looking into a telscope even kkkkk
Kk airport, what you must know is that muchinga is also part of zambia in the nutshell all parts of the nation must be developed.
It is not a mistake to start from any part of the country those in lusaka are just the same as those in rural areas infact those who far from urban areas are living in abject poverty and causing Zambia to be named as one of the poorest countries in the world which is shameful when we have mineral resources in aboundance .
KK your concept can be wrong because you feel only those in towns must remain previledged while the govt turns a blind eye to your own brothers and sisters languishing in poverty in rural areas.
If we started developing rural areas we could cut on people trecking to cities to build those slums we see around lusaka .
If we just centre…
THEODOLITE/ TOTAL STATION, DAMPY LEVEL IS A MICROSCOPE???
Please provide more details of the project. This is a lot of money we’re talking about. What type of journalism is this?
Who is the main contractor?
Who are the sub contractors?
What is the duration of the project?
What type of duel carriageway road will it be in terms of simple technical specifications?
Wearing a helmet for what? Lazy Lungu
Good question. I thought a helmet is supposed to be worn when entering or near a highrise building underconstruction or underground mine
Is LT run by school drop outs or what???? sure Lungu reportedly to be looking into a microscope instead of a theodolite…..this embarrassing…
@Jay, Jay its not helmet. Helmet are worn on motor bikes. That’s a hard hat. It is a standard safety requirement for all construction sites and mining operations either underground or surface operations. What are u? male nurse…………..
How far is Solwezi Chingola road. You are using money from Solwezi to build other roads and neglected the road that is bringing in wealth. We can only be quiet for a while. Do not take the people for granted. We are not stupid. One day the copper from North west will not be allowed to pass.
Apa pena walya EL, next should be Great East road. You going to save a lot of lives with this initiative.
