The very first Penthouse Party was held on the 11th floor of Sun Share Tower, one of Lusaka’s newest buildings on 16th December. Over 500 people showed up to party in a club scene full of stylishly dressed people in black and gold. It was all about networking, beautiful people and hella good vibes. The DJs, Gesh Groove, El Mukuka and V Jeezy kept the crowd on their feet. A sensational performance by violinist Caitlin Deville wooed the crowd.

@1.2 THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT PENTHOUSE MEANS. PENTHOUSE DOES NOT MEAN A SKY SCRAPER BUILDING. IF YOU ON A 7TH FLOOR WITH OTHER LEVELS ON TOP OF YOU AND YOU DON’T HAVE SAY A GARDEN-LIKE-SPACE, THAT IS NOT A PENTHOUSE. LAST FLOOR RESIDENTS CAN AUTOMATICALLY CLAIM TO BE LIVING IN A PENTHOUSE DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION.
@Mushota you have big booooobs! Must be a double D! Lose some weight at least! My first instict was that its a ponographic party! However, its the age and the times!
gesh grove and tired ass oldies music
Lol. I thought I was the only one that thinks this!
Ubuhule fye bweka bweka. Mushota come back naiwe wise uchiteko ubuhle bwa pa Zambia. See the guy with a four pack!
Jesus come and crack the whip on his abomination on our land. Women exposing their things like that.
Yeah neh….Jesus is coming soon, He will find the them partying ati mu pent house, pent house yabwanji iyo…..Eish ba zambia sometimes, they are so disappointing…

Good on you Mushota if that’s you. His wife looks like a rug, so don’t mind him!
Hollywood living! Great to see our stylish elite having fun. Catlin’s vaiolin act is getting a little tired though. Take a break girl.
Some of our black ladies are looking so terrible with their unnatural look; these are Christians for Lungu; ati we’re a Christian nation; sorry Christian nation;
I am NOT gay but damn those are nice abs!
Not bad
Are those Indians in picture No 3? Just surprised that these racist can mix so freely in our society when they hate black people so much. I just read somewhere that they were stoning a Zambia student in India.
You are the racist man! If some racist Indian all the way in India pick up stones against a Zambian all the way in India, does that make all Indians, especially the ones in Zambia racist? If one Zambian is caught shop-lifting in London, will that make all Zambians in London thieves? Shallow thinking!
Kenze ka STD convention. Kaunda must be livid! The man hoped we would wear safari suits forever but look at these chaps!
Zambia, slowly slipping into the abyss! Lord have mercy.
surprised to see no Chinese people considering they built and own they building maybe there was too much temptation ……. people were looking fresh at the party
I see only a few Zambian women. The rest look like bad imitations with sagging fimo fimo. Fashion, awe sure!
Are diaspora people always this jealous and bitter or its just because they are starting to realise that Zambians at home are looking and living better than diaspora zambians? Chikonko mwikate bane. Meanwhile nice party my people, our diaspora friends living in the mtenderes of kumangalande in shock
I don’t think that is the case. I think for those who have lived in the diaspora for a long time and are actually professionals and doing very well, their outlook in life is very different from their contemporaries in Zambia. You will not find many Zambians who are in the diasporas being socialites partying. Just as you do not see many professionals in attending the Penthouse party in the pictures above….these are mainly Zambian socialites, hence there is a bit of disconnect between the majority of diaspora bloggers on LT (professionals and middle class as opposed ‘mtenderes of Kumanagalande’ as you call us). We are just more down to earth and have a realistic and less materialistic outlook to life, in part due the wider exposure we have received.
