Brian Mwila scores debut goals in Austria

Brian MwilaChipolopolo striker Brian Mwila scored his debut goals for ailing Altach on Saturday to help the Austrian club to its second league win of the season.

Third from bottom Altach beat visiting 24-time champions Austria Vienna 2-0.

The nomadic Zambian striker who joined Altach from Buildcon in August , scored in the 55th and 68th minutes before he was substituted in the 75th minute after dispatching the fourth placed side to their fourth league defeat of the season.

Mwila, who is not part of Chipolopolo’s 2019 AFCON Group K doubleheader qualifier against Guinea Bissau, has made five competitive team appearances since he arrived in Austria a month ago.

Meanwhile, his called-up compatriots Enock Mwepu and Paton Daka are expected to be in action on Sunday for defending champions and leaders RB Salzburg’s away date against mid-table side Sturm Graz.
