National Democratic Congress Consultant Chishimba Kambwili has vowed to attend the dialogue meeting on 18th January 2019 saying he will not be intimidated by the Patriotic Front.
And Mr. Kambwili has accused people insisting that he should not attend the Dialogue meeting because he will be represented by the PF of having been sponsored by the ruling party to stop him from speaking about the corruption going on in government.
He said the NDC has picked him, Secretary General Mwenya Musenge and the Party Vice President to attend the dialogue meeting.
Mr. Kambwili said the PF does not want him to be in the meeting because they know he will raise a lot of issues regarding the rampant corruption in government.
“I said it at Kapingila House the last time we had a meeting with the three Church Mother Bodies that there can be no dialogue and reconciliation if people continue to steal and they don’t want to bring the things they have stolen, you will not intimidate me, you have failed to intimidate me with your police, you have failed to intimidate me by taking me to Court and you will not intimidate me on dialogue”, he said.
Mr. Kambwili said he does need the PF to represent him at the meeting because he is capable of representing himself.
“Who said I will be represented in the meeting by the PF, I went to Court to defend my Roan Seat and not to remain in the Patriotic Front. Ministers and PF Members of Parliament must be ready to undergo a Lifestyle audit to explain how they have accrued so much wealth and whether their wealth is commensurate with their earnings and their businesses”, he added.
Speaking at a media briefing today, Mr. Kambwili said the dialogue is not about Political parties but everyone that has an issue of how the country is being run.
Mr. Kambwili said President Edgar Lungu will not be embarrassed if he has not stolen but will be embarrassed if he has done so.
“You have just exposed yourself bakabwalala and am not going to run away from you bakabwalala, I can forgive my young brother Antonio Mwanza because he has just joined bakabwalala for him to also have a salary. I feel sorry for this boy who was strongly opposing the thieving of the PF, today he is supporting them to take part in the plunder of public funds”, He said.
Mr. Kambwili said whatever the PF will say, he will not be intimidated and will lead the NDC team at the National Dialogue.
According to the Zambia Centre for Interparty Dialogue, only Presidents of Political Parties and their National Secretaries will attend the 18th January 2019 dialogue meeting.
Meanwhile, the opposition Economic and Equity Party (EEP) president Chilufya Tayali has agreed with those who are suggesting that National Democratic Congress (NDC) consultant Chishimba Kambwili has no right to attend the launch of the National Dialogue.
Mr Tayali said that by being a Patriotic Front Member of Parliament and a consultant for the NDC Mr. Kambwili does not have the capacity to represent any political party at the launch of the National Dialogue.

This is what we are talking about, so called church mother bodies have made poor arrangements for these national dialogue. Kambwili is saying that anyone with issues with this country should attend the national dialogue. Honestly, is that what the NATIONAL DIALOGUE aimed for? Such individual like CK are not SUPPOSE to attend such sensitive NATIONAL ISSUES because of their hypocrisy. He is also a source of CONFUSION in country.

Confusions has already started what more on the actual day? Respect is very important. In the so called church mother bodies, how do you react to church rebels like Kambwili? Churches were supposed to arrange and PLAN the NATIONAL DIALOGUE with integrity and WISDOM by making sure that citizens put interest in them ( church leaders) but so far I can foresee misunderstandings . LEADERS join US IN BARS otherwise we are same in GOD’s IMAGE.

It will not be a national dialogue then,if you start waffling like that and you think the church body can allow that. Even people who had trust in Kambwili will now start doubting him. Can we have the agenda on the dialogue otherwise we don’t want our money to be spent on useless accusations like what Kambwili has just bluffed. Dialogue, dialogue, dialogue and dialogue on what? Is it past elections or what? H. E. E C L is already President, you going to discuss coalition governance or something else. I see no reason there must be this indaba.

Already info has it that the Catholic Bishops are not happy with the winner of the DRC elections. ..it appears they had someone else in mind. That is the church for you. Like I have said, these are just human beings and have bias just like anybody else. Respect but don’t trust them entirely.
