  1. Bad news .Theft is theft.A mirror and you kill someone who did not threaten you.Unless am missing something.I had my car bashed from behind in my driveway.I didn’t see the perpetrator
,there I had to pay $600 excess to the insurance to have a car fixed.Mwebantu mulebako no Lise.Zp would have done the job.Now you had carried to take him to the night. If you had shouted thief and a mob had descended on him during the act ,it was going to be different.

  2. i’m seriously torn apart on this issue. having been a victim of these so called pet thefts (had my brand new laptop, phones, car locking system damaged), I find it difficulty to fully sympathize with this situation. On the other hand, police themselves are so reluctant when you report these cases. Good example is those thieves snatching hand bags, laptops, phones and other valuables by Down Town. A lot of people have fallen victims and reported to police, what have they done to address the problem?

    • MR. Mwela, it’s life we are talking about. Material things can be replaced. If this guy knew who did it, why didn’t he report to police. Every one has right to due process.

  3. Root of the problem = NO JOBS.
I am proposing that those 7 decades old should step down from their posts n allow these 30 year olds to get job. So many Degree holders roaming the streets or selling tomatos. Please please seniors give chance to your seeds.

  4. More side mirrors saved now. This guy could have stolen tyres, and BOOM chimotoka pa last. I have no sympathy for thieves and Mfwitiz…..

    • Come on guys none of us like thieves but how do we know the man actually stole the mirror? Anybody can accuse you of stealing and your only savior in that case is the justice system. This guy never got that chance

  5. Yes we have a system that helps us to deal with such characters but are not so efficient themselves. Once you report they will employ the “come tomorrow theory” until you give up or loose your job due to the same come tomorrow. Why that is so in my own opinion is because they know that they shall rise from private to other ranks higher with time even when they do not improve. If the promo was performance based these guys would have been reading to become better and better.

  6. Comment:3 weeks ago thieves broke the window of my car and went with my laptop. pipo around shouted thieves thieves, he jumped in the car they parked few meters of scene and drove away. we saw the number plate, reported the case to police and docket opened. up to now they have done nothing even after myself obtaining details of the said vehicle from Ratsa and give them . got no sympathy for these thieves. police in Zambia are share waist of time.
