NAPSA Director General Yollard Kachinda hands over a cheque to Copperbelt Permanent Secretary Bright Nundwe

The National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) says the Copperbelt Province has enormous economic potential in agriculture, forestry, tourism, fisheries and livestock that can be harnessed to attract investments.

Speaking when he handed over a K150,000 cheque to support the hosting of the forthcoming Copperbelt Investment Forum and Exposition slated for June 24 to 28 2019 to be hosted in Ndola at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Director General Yollard Kachinda said his organisation is interested in investing in the province because of its potential.

“NAPSA’s interest in the Province is twofold; job creation and economic development which in the long run will bring pride to the nation in line with its Vision and the financial sustainability of the fund as a result of increased membership,” he said.

Mr. Kachinda said further noting that the forum shall provide an excellent platform to network with different stakeholders in identifying prospective investments.

The company has confirmed its full participation in the Expo.

Receiving the cheque, Copperbelt Permanent Secretary Bright Nundwe indicated that the support rendered by NAPSA is a huge milestone scored in the hosting of the Expo by the province.

The budget for the successful hosting of the Copperbelt Investment Expo is about 1 million dollars.

  1. He is excited with the people’s money. It is good to invest money, but first pay retirees. You fraud retires when you don’t pay them on time. NAPSA Board and top management you are responsible for the suffering of retirees. What is there to be proud of when giving that check when you fraud the retirees every working day. Shame on NAPSA top Administration and the Board.

    • @4bitrap,Which Bembas are you talking about,YOU TRIBALIST!! Neither Kachinda nor Nundwe is Bemba BUT for your info.people of NW,CB,Nothern part of Central Province,Luapula,Northern provinces have same origin – Luba/Lunda kingdom in the now DRC.If you go to DRC in Katanga you find same ethnicities. These ethnities here in Zambia share even names with similarities in languages, just check how close Kikaonde is to Lamba and Bemba!!

  2. Investment is good for zambians at large ; I like people who think progressively , that is the way to go such ventures are good for the whole nation just invest it in such ventures like you have said than someone who would like to keep that money in the bank .
I would add that you also venture into manufacturing even in mulungushi textiles and not only in that but think of other valuable activities if you can manage , however farming is one the best investments in Zambia.
Money grows when you invest it than keep it without working ,
People like bitrap who hate others are usually failures and have low self esteem and cannot achieve anything in life they live in the world hatred it is a disease and it kills it will kill any one who love it.
