The Chief Executive Office of Top Star Communications Company Limited Chinese, has been deported.

He was deported on Thursday, 12th September, 2019 under a warrant signed by Minister of Home Affairs Stephen Kampyongo because there were reasonable grounds to believe that his presence in Zambia and conduct were likely to be a danger to peace and good order.

This is in accordance with section 39 (2) of the Immigration and Deportation Act No. 18 of 2010 of the laws of Zambia.

The Chinese CEO of Top Star is on record to have used derogatory and abusive language, not only towards employees of Top Star, but also towards Government Officials, on multiple occasions.

Further, during his time as Chief Executive Officer, the company has been abrogating certain provisions of the Employment Code No. 3 of 2019.

He was deported to his country of origin via Kenneth Kaunda International Airport around 22:30 hours, aboard an Emirates Flight.

    • Is it really a coincidence, that yesterday we read about WB banning a major Chinese Energy company that presented fake documents to Zambian Authorities?
So Kampyongo seeing the risk, he is now trying to impress us by cleaning some of the dirty he hid under his carpet. This was supposed to have happened, a long time ago… is it rush for fear of being exposed?
So Dora will now come up on Monday ranting how they are fighting corruption…awe mwe 🙁
Anyway, if this CEO guy deserved deportation, then well done Kampyongo. For you to have acted, this must have been really, really, really serious.

    • So this Chinese foo1 had been insulting his workers and Zambian officials for quiet sometime now. Why you didn’t deport his behind a long time ago? Go to China and start insulting their people there and their leaders, and see what they’ll do to you. You’ll spend sometime in prison first, before you get deported. Don’t be so docile. And we don’t want to see his foo1ish behind back in Zambia again.

    • Please to the powers the be deport all the South African and white Zimbabweans who have flooded the job market (especially in the mines and farming sectors) here in Zambia taking away jobs from Zambians with even better academic qualifications, most of these people use abusive language towards Zambians and have no interest in our country and bringing real development, the other day I saw a Boer white farmer threatening to kill a young man who was serving him at a fuel station, how do we allow these things to happen in our own country where is justice?

    • You did not confront the Boer. That’s how they come believe it’s ok to isult/abuse Zambians.

This the only country you have . Don’t chase them just teach them a lesson they won’t forget.

    • @Vanduu mudala I saw this incident on a whatsapp video.. If I was there I would’ve performed a citizens arrest on that racist Boer… The imigration dept must really begin to scrutinise these whites coming in from South Africa and Zimbabwe many of them might even be white nationalists that killed blacks in their home countries but we don’t do any kind of background check on them which is why we keep having such nonsense. Why do we allow them in? You as a Zambian with your papers can’t get a job in SA or Zimbabwe so why are you allowing these evil chaps in and giving them preferential treatment when they just laugh at you and insult you????

  1. Top star is a major player in the broadcast bussiness.

Me thinks lungu and his gang are now realising that the $275 million digital migration deal will not bailout the PF GRZ as they are hopping.

They were bribed by the plane load, lungu and his group who he took to China to sign the deal without and against media experts advice…..

Now what they are seeing is the Chinese hold all the revenue streams while Zambia only has rights over the ZNBC trademark.

All money generating streams like set top box sales, broadcast carriage fees that programme makers pay for transmission , mast rentals , all go to the Chinese.

Also in that $275 million cost , we were billed for modern studios in all provinces …..but we got 5 outside broadcast trucks with a 8 year lifespan instead…..

  2. HE WILL COME BACK UNDER A DIFFERENT PASSPORT AND CREDENTIALS HE WAS A GOOD CEO COS. HE USED TO CALL A SPADE A SPADE NO NONSENSE MAN HE COULD SHOUT AT MINISTERS WHEN THEY GO FOR MEETINGS LATE AND BLAST THEM IF THEY TAKE LONG TO RESPOND TO HIS LETTERS, THESE ARE TYPES OF CHINESE WE WANT AS A COUNTRY TO CHANGE THE MINDSET ON JOB CULTURE AND ETHICS BY BLACK ZAMBIANS

  3. The Government has failed us. I wonder why they NEVER give Zambians who are able do the Jobs, deals and constructs. Zambians have so much regard and high esteem in foreign Nationals.
There is no youth empowerment programs. If there they superiors plunder what’s meant to help the intended.
Instead of Tasila Lungu,Simon Mwewa etc running their mouth on Keeping the Country clean by proving pointless points they had better buy dump Trucks and hire youths.
