I think there’s a misuse of the term Legend in music circles. I don’t see anything in the person of the couple nor in their works that will qualify to be legendary. These are just ordinary musicians who have made ordinary contributions to the music industry in Zambia and their few albums haven’t made any record sales. If Nalu & Exile qualify to be Legends then Dandy Crazy and JK are beyond that because ” Donchi Kubeba” and ” Dununa Reverse” enjoyed more play time at their peak than any works that the couple have done, not even “House, money, car”. But still none of these qualify to be among the list of Zambian legendary musicians

You WhatsApp generation don’t understand word “Legend”. Izrael is same as Fwayo Tembo, they are not legends.
These are $ex educators, you don’t need $ex education in primary schools, they hear it all in Zambian music.

The lyrics are alright but they should have used a different producer, TK’s beats are out dated. He has gone past his shelf-life in producing music . They should have used these new boys, the music there are producing is pretty good. This would have been a hit.

Legends are Anna Mwale, Joyce Nyirongo, The Witch, the great Zambian gospel singers of the 80s ( you even worship as a Jehovah’s with them too kikikiki ). These are not.

MUSIC yapa Zambia gets poorer and poorer shuwa. Bushe pa Zambia paba fye bass-line imo fye muli yonse muli yonse ama compositions across all musicians? Tamulepanga sense baice na music yenu. I think it’s high time Zambians musicians started going to school to learn music and how to play instruments.
Nga nine nintendwa nama rubbish yapa ZambiaThere are very few musicians in Zambia one can call musicians. Anyway this one is another rubbish.
By bass line do you mean one melody? I agree with you because I only hear one melody over and over with just the lyrics changing here and there

@Wise timing dont have a narrow view of things in life. Some musicians may not know how to play instruments but they are still musicians if they can compose or write lyrics and attract an audience. A musician who will produce a song from the computer is also a musician. There are no rules as long as people like the end product. Even if that product is considered crap by some critics like you.

I have watched and listened to Black Coffee of South Africa and I havent seen anything you are placing before successful musicians. He doesnt play a single instrument, doesnt sing, doesnt write but he is still a succesful musicians. It just shows you to leave people to try out their talent. Dont dictate

@Freedom to be an artist
I somewhat agree with you. However Black Coffee can play a basic keyboard and that is why his productions have some structure to them.
No Zambian musician can even reach the levels of musicians such as DJ Black Coffee in terms of international success. You even have DJ Maphorisa from a south african township making loads of money by producing hits like “One Dance” for Drake
