Opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema says the PF government has become so desperate and is ready to kill citizens to remain in power.
Reacting to yesterday’s killings of two people, Mr Hichilema said the blood of the two men will haunt PF forever.
Mr Hichilema described the happenings as sad day for Zambia.
“So far two people have been confirmed as having been gunned down by PF thugs dressed in Police uniforms. We have been briefed that the two who have been shot dead are Joseph Kaunda and Nsama Nsama Chipyoka who was a State prosecutor. Their demise is heartbreaking as they did not have to die in this manner,” Mr Hichilema said.
“The corrupt PF has become so desperate that it is now ready to kill us, but we want to tell them that they cannot stop a decided population and change is coming. The blood of the innocent souls you (PF) have killed today, will haunt you forever,” Mr Hichilema said.
“We send our sincere condolences to the Kaunda and Chipyoka families, and we shall do what we can to ensure a better Zambia for all.”
Mr Hichilema maintained that his questioning by Police was political witch hunt.
“Regarding the matter we were called for; It is yet again pure political witch-hunt, unless it is a crime for a Zambian to become an investor, create jobs and business opportunities for all and then seek public office.”
“We have never stolen any property since childhood and we will never, not even land and all we have today is out of hard work and support from our fellow citizens.”
He added, “Fellow Zambians, when you see a regime killing its own people just know that its time is up and it is because of that, that we call for unity of purpose and come 2021 vote out these corrupt dictators.”
“To the professional police, we say don’t kill your own brothers and sisters because we are all victims of the corrupt PF. Once more fellow citizens, do not lose Hope because Help is on the way and its time for change.”

I hope by now the opposition are reaching out to the international community on these extra judicial killings in Zambia, these two aint even the first ones in Zambia. We cant continue living like that, how can showing solidarity to a leader warrant in to the death penalty. no ways.

I don’t think it was the police killed those two guys, anything can happen we should not always think the UPND are angels who cannot be involve in killing. Lets take time to investigate the matter before purely blame the PF government.
UPND killed the prosecutor period and then shoot an innocent cadre. It’s just unfortunate police were no near this place. HH has managed to get support from some Zambians after making this move. HH already told BBC and other international media that they would be blood shed by PF. No insane person can kill his people this time around.PF can’t be so clueless but UPND has managed to manipulate them.police somehow are working against the govt so that PF can rise against the gvt.Nsama was not near the protestors and police never went there. Me I knew that this was bound to happen, because just recently I heard the UPND leader in copper belt informing the nation on the media that UPND cadres from all provinces in Zambia must go with HH to police station to give him solidarity support as if its nomination day where they need supporters to escort him. the provincial leader of UPND in copper belt was speaking that UPND remembers were ready to die with HH in the presence of HH as president of UPND, why dint he advice those cadres not to go as crowd to give him solidarity support at the police station? knowing how dangerous it was to do so.
Now we have lost the levies of two innocent people, him as the president of UPND failed to do his part to avoid such occurrences which caused death of two people, is now…

The worst thing to have happened to our great naation is to have had this boy by the name of Sammy Hakainde Hichilema coronated to be head of a once national political pary (UPND). We know that it may get worse before it gets better, because the chap knows that the lead on the UPND is slowly opening up and this is his very last attempt at plot 1. But surely the good will triumph over evil. You cannot have a political party that spews so much hate and disregards all national security matters for the sake of one selfish soul. I sincerly hope we will not have an opposition leader similar to Hichilema in the near future. I believe that there are several tonga leaders who would have done much differently.
