    PF had all positions filled up but what’s was there to show for apart from rampant corruption and incompetence. If a govt can’t function without one individual in these offices with bloated people, then that’s a big problem.
    It takes a long time to fill roles even in private sector… you have to offer them a role; vet them; discuss and negotiate the contract and what not. Ministers are filled in; there are deputies everywhere.
    The man was in the US for 2 weeks or so… and he is only been in the office for 40 days… mate shut the funk up and sit down!

46. I was equally baffled that it took so long for HH to even put together a cabinet. This gave me the impression that the UPND did not have a shadow cabinet when they were in opposition. What is now worrying is the wholesale removal of permanent secretaries and CEOs of some parastatals. While it is true that some of those removed were PF inclined, many others are highly qualified career civil servants who have served the government diligently long before the PF came into power. Those still serving in government have expressed worry that the sudden removal of these key civil servants is likely to adversely affect the smooth implementation of some projects. At the end of the day, it may be HH who may price for this.
