Thats Zambia Now thanking the government for our own money. Actually they need to do more. We vote for a government so that it works for us. Thats why these people think they own us. Let them do more for the people don’t even thank them because the thank is for what???? its the right of a Zambian to have food.Provided by the state if there is a disaster. They should not just sit and finish our money they must distribute it actually equally. Thats why they steal when they have nowhere to take it!!! You see the food came 10 day and tomm thats when they will think about it
Sikota yesterday said he had received a lot of people resigning from UPND to join ULP.
He said his party was ready to receive as many as possible that were resigning from UPND.
“The essence of political parties is in the masses,” Sikota said. “The Bible says give and you shall receive but here in politics it is better to receive and then give. We really have the vision of the late Anderson Mazoka. You can even note that out of seven of us that wrote the first UPND manifesto, though it was developed along the way, only two have remained in the party. These are honourable Douglas Siakalima and Mr Tiens Kahenya.”
The UPND executive committee in Itezhi Tezhi recently resigned to join ULP claiming that Sikota was carrying the vision for Mazoka.
They claimed that UPND was going nowhere especially that strong members like Syacheye Madyenkunku and Ngande Mwanajiti could resign.
Former UPND national youth chairman Frank Tayali also resigned from the party.
