Lumwana Radiants captain Allan Kapila says his side won’t fear champions Zesco United when they clash in a delayed FAZ Super Division match on Wednesday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Unbeaten second placed Zesco face promoted Lumwana in a delayed Week 1 match three days after thumping Mufulira Blackpool 5-0 in Ndola.

In a pre-match interview, Kapila, a midfielder, declared that Lumwana will not be intimidated by Zesco’s past record.

“Football is played on the pitch. We won’t fear them because football is about playing 90 minutes,” he said.

“That’s going to be a great game. We can win the game,” Kapila said.

Lumwana are 13th on the table with 8 points from 7 games played.

“So far so good we are doing great. We are a great team. This is our first season in the Super League,” Kapila said.

This is the first time Lumwana are competing in the top flight.

Meanwhole, in Wednesdays other rescheduled Week 1 fixture, Red Arrows host Nakambala Leopards at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
