  1. Way to go MatMat, wishing you all the best in what will be a very demanding job!

Lots of decisions ahead to work out how to turn Zambia’s long appreciated potential in reality, while also increasing the participations Zambians, at home & abroad, it can, nay must, be done…

  2. It’s only in Zambia where the word “veteran” is misused. Nothing against Matongo, he is a relatively young man and yes he is qualified for the job. Not quite sure if it’s appropriate to address him as a veteran

You have made us who were your seniors (till now.. lol), proud.

  4. Matongo Matamwandi congratulations and wish you all the success in your endeavours. To Zambia Sugar and Illovo S.A. you could not appreciate his worth – this is your loss you will live to miss his valuable input.

  5. Congratulations Matamwandi. I hope You will realize that you are there to save the country not for your own interest but for Your people. Use your position to open up projects for young people like us that will help us build a better zambia by 2020. mining is not the only thing we can do and we can not continue to depend on copper alone not for long….Hence Sir make sure you open up and develop these other sectors. Especially the education sector , IT sector ,Agro sector these i believe are the most potential catalyst to speed up and grow our economy that will sustain and keep our National Reservoir in Health.
