Where is Be Ester kanshi. We used to see her weekly pictures. I am happy that she now settled.
British prisons are better than living in Zambian
In Scotland prisoners are paid and have sky tv.
They also study for degrees
Thanks

I think countries like Zambia just need to be colonized by the British again….
Kite looks like a war just finished yesterday 50 years after independence…. is that the CBD?
So what degree did you study whilst in jail ?
Look at the state of the road that’s the damage street venders can do!
Kitwe will be better than this. The new Mayor is out to make Kitwe again. Removing the vendors is the first step. Better than ch Kambwili. Chi bull frog.
Photos 1/2/3 tell a sad and terrible situation Zambia my home, my country and my pride has come to be. Surely is that how roads in a huge copper mining town like Kitwe has turned out to be mwebantu? But surely even if there’s no money in government coffers, why don’t those DCs, Ministers, MPs and other civic leaders come up with a master plan to patch up those horrible potholes?
All they need is to sit down and plan ahead. We have cement, crashed stones etc., readly available to make paving stones and beautify the city. Awe twafilwa ukuiteka, maybe mudzungus shud come back.
FAILED STATE, RUN BY CADRES!!
Just look @ pictures of Kitwe in & before 1964, & the Zoo that is Kitwe today.
How can one argue that the systems of Governance prefered by majority of Black Africans of Wamuyaya Caderism Politics, where meritocracy is frowned upon in preference of the Stone throwing Cadre like Home affairs -“Chimp”yongo, where a Drunken Strongman prevails, & rules after being adopted by the show of Panga’s NEVER WORKS!!
ZAMBIA IS SLOWLY TURNING INTO A PIG STY.
Lusaka Times is Part of the PF Media Department.Kampyongo and Company are calling the shots.I’ll just stick to the Mast and Muvi TV.
Kitwe my Kitwe. that’s how bad things have become. its so sad, especially that people are saying that thins are better now. town Centre looking like that. Shame.
Vendors have been cleared now the pot holes are now exposed…really laughable!!
Lungu has workers at his Fish farm but can’t buy them working attire?
Imagine!
One even goes into the fishpool in his shirt and talauza What’s happening there?
The photo journalist name is Starfrance Zulu?
Sad state of kitwe roads…..cry my beloved zambia…..’things are better now in zambia”
Awe Kitwe CBD is a disgrace. It’s exposes how LAZY Zambians are. This road looks like a road in MOGADISHU.
Ati SONTA! Ma-rubbish Yeka-Yeka. These streets are NOT worth grabbing from street vendors.
If this road was a trousers, it would be one with patch on patch with “zig-zag” stitches.
Sometimes I’m ashamed to be Zambian!!
Good job Mayor and Kitwe City Council now lay a new tarmac even if you have to use concrete its far cheaper than RDA prices and then plant some flowers or shrubs.
I agree Jay Jay.
actually concrete roads are superior
After a very long time Jay Jay has commented some sense, good job my bro for sticking to the issue not always being PRO-UPND. THANKS MAN.
I know Lusaka is dirty, very dirty, but at least it has nice roads, even in compounds and shanties. Kitwe central business district has rivers, lakes and dams kikikikikiki. This is sad.
Are you sure? When was the last time anyone actually saw “the road” in so many places of Lusaka?
While wisdom may not be tied to one being educated, education does enhance wisdom! Zambia has not given education the attention it deserves just because most of the leaders the country has been having all along have been half baked and in assuming positions in governance only prioritized self aggrandizement and reaping of national coffers without an inkling of civic duty! The pictures of Kitwe CBD tells a lot and exposes the rot! Erosion of city status started with every white person that left the this Copperbelt town. In all honesty Kitwe city administrators and those in other Zambian cities must be ashamed and stop being defensive if veteran residents are despondent and overwhelmed with a feeling of nostalgia for when the white people managed national affairs! These are the results of…
contd….. results of awarding cadres positions that demand the educated! The best that can be done for all party cadres is to ensure that they are given an education as a reward than positioning them only to start the plunder! For interests sake if the paving on the streets is as pictures show are there provisions of public conveniences?
Poverty poverty is all I see .that is why ka mushota is busy fighting for her right to live in a country where she is called monkey everyday
If this is how my city, Kitwe looks then I am saddened!
iyeeeee, is that the looks of Kitwe my birth town??????… Was there a bomb that was dropped in the centre of Kitwe???? And the local authorities get paid to keep the cbd in that shape???
Cry my beloved country, Africa (and Zambia in particular) twasebana.
Bring back the vendors! uncovered are the potholes. Potholes on the road potholes on the pavements, potholes in Lungus head
Please start works on Lumumba road. Its in a pathetic state right now.And ba Lusaka City Council please check that street vendor who has set up a trading post just after Mukwa road on the rail truck at bottlers. You have seen him start slowly growing his business there next it will be Buseko Market extension.Surely do we have to tell you all the time to tame these vendors. You do see them starting and its the right time you can stop them before its too late!Let buseko be were it is,we do not want an extesion into undesignated area like the sited spot…..please please lets say NO to this!
I hope now mr. kan’gombe will focus on fixing those pot holes, it was not going to be easy to work on those holes with the vendors all over the place, I think now it can be done, get to work mr. mayor, I know you will shame most of the people who are being negative on this blog. keep it up sir!
an african was never meant to leave in comfort. an african race is too dull to pull itself out of poverty. no matter how far we can go in education …degrees. masters degrees of PHDs we cant create, invent, develop or discover anything. we are just there to serve the europeans.
