Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya has revealed that government has adopted a health component in all key sectors of the country’s economy.
Dr Chilufya said this will spur the much desired social and economic growth of the country through maintaining a healthy workforce.
Dr Chilufya told ZANIS in Lusaka today that government remains committed to ensure that every Zambian has access to quality health care services in order to enhance productivity in the country.
And Dr Chilufya disclosed that Zambia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Zimbabwe aimed at combating malaria through a cross border initiative approach.
Dr Chilfuya also disclosed that government will soon sign more MoU’s with other neighboring countries in a bid to enhance the country’s aggressive approach of eliminating malaria.
