Patriotic Front Secretary General Davies Mwila has met the Litunga of the Lozi speaking people, Lubosi Imwiko at his Lealui Palace.
Mr Mwila, who is in Western Province on party mobilisation assured the Litunga that the ruling Party under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu is committed to uniting Zambia and taking development to all parts of the country.
He emphasised that Zambians must unite above tribe, gender or any other consideration.
And the Kuta has welcomed the PF delegation in the Province and called for unity among the people.
They also indicated that they were ready to work with the Party in power in accelerating development in all the sixteen districts in the Province.
The Kuta is also grateful that the Party Secretary General is interested in understanding the development challenges as well as take stock of the development registered in the Province so far.
Mr Mwila also acknowledged the development the ruling Party was rolling out to all parts of the country, Barotseland included.
Meanwhile, the PF Secretary General met the Provincial leadership and encouraged them to carry out an honest assessment regarding what went wrong in the 2016 elections.
Mr Mwila challenged the Provincial leadership to set targets for itself, which it must communicate to his office for tracking.
He said the party leadership will not accept any dismal performance from the structures because they have everything to work with in making the PF more attractive in the Province.
Mr Mwila is accompanied by some members of the Central Committee who include Peter Kazhila, Father Frank Bwalya, Kebby Mbewe and the Provincial leadership in Western province.
