Zikomo kwambili ba Millennium Challenge
So we can make 4 of these from the fire engines ??? Shocking
I haven’t seen anything like that in America, wonder what kind of “waste” is in that water.
If you have $11 million to Miles Sampa, what can he do with it;
– WiFi
– upstairs cemetery
Ba LT these are fish tanks … please put proper picture so that people are not misled.
Thank-you… I just hope there is a plan to contain the problem of mosquito breeding. In garden compound near those sewer ponds and the surrounding areas, am not sure if those are mosquitoes, flies or bees… it’s crazy.
That’s because its not maintained properly …
I wish you’re there in the 1960s to 70s. Those sewer ponds were like a tourist center. The surroundings were of orchards and different birds would be circling and perching as you relaxed on embankment. The waste was dried into compost manure which our parents would send us to buy for our cabbage, tomatoes etc gardens. In short it was a sight to behold. After nationalizing the council staffing, all hell broke loose. The result is what we see now. Shame.
shame ! was on the Millennium Challenge website some of the works they are upgrading have been touched since 1970s….1986 can`t understand where all our Eurobonds have disappeared this $355million dollars projects the americans are do you can this the progress and development but we instead spend millions on firetracks and our markets are still burning
They have even more than enough change in the account to tar roads in Meanwood which this utterly useless govt lamentable failed to do.
If these were a Chinese loan or GRZ contract this project would have cost minimum $25million…simply look at what the US Millennium $450million account is delivering, drainage, tapwater as far as in Meanwood via Chelston, all over Lusaka. The funny thing is there is still change left over in that account which the US will take back on the deadline as projects have been delivered on time and under budget….now look at what these morons in PF did with $750million and $1.2 billion Eurobond.
AHH YOU GUYS ITS A MISTAKE THEY ARE SWIMMING POOLS FOR THOSE WORLD CHAMPIONS IN AUSTRALIA
Yes, ponds in garden were clean up to 1980s As someone has said, the don ward chairmen killed the councils completely.RThis was under one-party government. If was didn’t know these were sewer ponds, he/she could drink the water. It was clear and clean, but bawamuyaya spoiled it all! There was fish which used to control the mosquito breeding.
