President Edgar Lungu says the Patriotic Front will soon be meeting to decide the fate of members who claim to be PF but are still holding positions in other political parties.

President Lungu has challenged such members to decide where they want to belong.

He said it is politically wrong for anyone particularly in Bahati Constituency to hold on to two positions as leader of the opposition and stick to a parliamentary seat under the ruling party.

President Lungu however said that there is nothing wrong with such members going back to the Patriotic Front and seek forgiveness.

He was speaking at Mansa Airport when he made a stopover enroute to Lupososhi District in Northern Province.

The President also urged party members to avoid violence and observe peace at all times.

And Luapula Province Minister Nickson Chilangwa thanked the President for visiting the province saying it is peaceful and that farming inputs have started arriving in the province.

President Lungu who was accompanied by senior government officials was received at the airport by party leaders and government.

Meanwhile, PF Secretary General Davies Mwila says Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili is still a member of the PF and cannot therefore claim to belong to the National Democratic Congress.

Mr. Mwila told ZNBC News that the party will also write to Kelvin Fube Bwalya giving him seven days in which to exculpate himself over disciplinary charges.

He said the case of Bahati Member of Parliament and Harry Kalaba and Kelvin Fube will be taken to the Central Committee and a decision of their status will be made before the end of the year.

    • Tongas, very dull. Just like the unzasu president. Zero scoop. The president does not need a Tongas permission to inspect parts of his country. Mwine waziko. He can be anywhere anytime at short notice. Tongas mafontini bad

  1. Your Excellency please start with Ba shikulu ba Freedom Sikazwe he is passed his prime and should be relaxing at home, also abena Chitotela they are a disgrace to your party in fact all those surrounding you with fake loyalty they are the ones bringing you down and tarnishing your name.

  2. For Mwila to state that CK is still PF I smell a cup of coffee somewhere. Maybe, a ranter ( Mr verbal diarrhea) is begging and rolling out at night but on day time is speaking while hiding his face. CK has no NSONI . Anyway, NO PF NO CK. It’s time to comeback like, Mulenga SATA etc

  3. Point of correction iwe #things never change. Zambia belongs to us all edgar is not ‘mwine wa calo’

And the very tongas u are insulting are feeding you through their hard work. Learn to be balanced.

  4. Sharon the HH hater.Even where HH is not featuring all you see is HH.This must be a rabies individual who just says anything for the sake of saying something. You will only wake up when some China man comes to point a gun at you and shoot your ugly face.PF!There is no such thing as pf,only mmd.Take stock of your ministers. You will understand what I mean:Dora mmd Lusambo mmd die hard,Luo mmd,Mwanakatwe mmd,Freedom mmd,Japhen mmd. What then do you claim to be pf?

  5. ( Chi form 3)”Meanwhile, PF Secretary General Davies Mwila says Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili is still a member of the PF and cannot therefore claim to belong to the National Democratic Congress.”…………The PF SG just because Kambwili says he knows someone who wrote Grade 12 exams for you, suddenly you have changed your tone and is now PF member, no talk like the way you did last week when challenging him for a bye election

  6. Zambian opposition democracy: Leader of opposition but PF mp?? In UK, the Miliband brothers failed to get the Labour party into office and duly resigned. hh has failed 5 times and expelled all dissenting voices. He then goes all over the world as a champion of democracy?? Europe carefully chooses its leaders while Africa props up bad ones. Who’s to blame?? The people.

    • Mukwai Ba Zambian Citizen How many times did Sata fail before he became our president? Only losers give up but when someone pushes forward he or she is a determined person. Failure is no success but success comes from determination.

    • Sata realistically tried twice before he became president. 2001 he was starting. But with each attempt, he kept growing and it was evident he was going to be president. hhs problem is his inability to break new grounds outside his stronghold like Sata did with Lusaka and CB. hhs best chance came during the pact and 2015 when he came up against a newcomer. Mazoka was better and sellable character who could have grown to be president. hh is a business success, but his political prospects are quite bleak.

  7. Lungu must initiate the reconciliation like God did with us!This will clearly show that he means well with the national prayer and reconciliation!! Don’t wait for those who left or forced out of PF, like CK to come to you.Look at confidant Shiwan’gandu HSS cracked as was shown on Prime TV on Friday. 16 November, 2018!
