TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever”
(I Chronicles 16:34 AMP)
TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Gratitude is a powerful force in the life of the believer. No matter what may be happening in the world around you, you can always find something to thank God for. Having constant gratitude shows that you have faith in God because not only do you thank Him for what He has done in the past, you thank Him for what He will do in the future. It’s that kind of faith that pleases God and causes Him to move on your behalf.
Constant gratitude also shows humility because when we are thankful, we magnify God instead of magnifying our problems. It gives us proper perspective and opens the door for God’s grace, favor, and supernatural empowerment.
So what are you grateful for today? Are you grateful for the sun that shines and brings us a new day? Are you thankful for the gift of eternal life?As you choose an attitude of constant gratitude, you’ll experience His mercy and loving kindness in greater ways. You’ll be filled with His peace and joy and be empowered to move forward into the abundant life He has prepared for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father in heaven, today I declare my thanks to You for all You have done in my life. Help me see Your hand of blessing as I continually acknowledge and praise Your name. Fill me with Your peace and joy as I keep You first place in all that I do. In Jesus’ Name. Amen”

Good thought of the day. Just imagine how much we take things for granted and get carried.
Thankyou Lord Jesus, guide me always and forgive me in my wrong doings.
We trully all are sinners, thank God he sent his only begotten son to die for us, so that when we believe in Jesus we are saved for eternity, pantu nga twaliapya some of our sins were heavy mwe. Thus I repent at a whim. Glory be to God always.
I like these messages because they are short & straight to the point – unlike the long, dry & weary Sunday sermons that have sadly turned a lot of churches into gloomy, boring gathering places. In that case, it makes more sense to come together with your family members and count the blessings under your roof.
Nine Chale no sermon of God is boring or should be boring. Thank God for those sermons instead. May God bless us all.

We do not know Joel Osteen personally. He seems like a nice man and he even seems very sincere and no doubt fervently believes in what he is preaching. But one can be sincere and be sincerely wrong.
He has been rebuked by many within Evangelical and Christian Fundamental circles for the very reason that he does not stick to just the preaching of the Word. It is not so much what he is preaching but rather what he is NOT preaching. The entire Word of God must be preached. Where is the Gospel? Where is the preaching of Jesus as Savior? The Lord Jesus died to save us from our SINS– Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Joel Osteen says that he does not want to condemn anybody. Well, we are not supposed to condemn anybody. We are to preach the Good News that Jesus died to save us from our sins– and that there is eternal damnation awaiting those who die in their sins. We cannot compromise Scripture or candy coat the SIN PROBLEM which exists.
One can paint daisies on a pig but in the end, a pig is a pig. We cannot candy coat sin and try to preach around it. Jesus did not die to give us a luxury car; nor did He die to make us successful. Jesus died for OUR SINS. Matthew 1:21 says, And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Joel Osteen’s ministry rakes in over $73,000,000 a year. His brother, sister and mother are all minister’s in his church—a family operated cash cow. In his new book, “Become A Better You,” Osteen’s 7 principles for becoming a better you don’t mention God or Jesus Christ even once. This is apostasy.
#9 Chapwa. Unfortunately, that is one of the things that turns people like myself off this brand of Christianity. People like Joel and most pastors are just in it for the money. Their followers are blinded by their desire to become as rich as these tricksters. The other thing that is off-putting about this brand of Christianity is its empasis on worship rather than on doing good deeds for fellow human beings. People spend all hours singing and shouting for God, but as soon as they leave the church buildings they take up witch craft, thieving and other vices. Chiluba is living proof.

Chapwa and Chitampakwa you guys are both very correct. I do know how to discern rightfrom wrong, plus true from false preachers. But I do remember a verse in the new testament were some people were preaching for their own glory, the followers of Christwere mad but Paul I should think told them that when the word is preached it shall do it’s work by any means necessary. I shall find the verse and then post it on your names within the week. Chitampakwa we are to do all thing worship and work as one all that God’s will intells. Yes as a Christian I do now that Chiluba was very wrong good thing is that the Bible says we can rebuke fellows Christians but do not judge the lost because the do not know any better. Chiluba being Christian is thus open season for criticism hahahahahaha. My…
