Zambia’s 2010 Africa Cup Group D opponents Cameroon will set-up camp in Kenya ahead of the tournament in Angola next month.
Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) announced that the venue was selected by Indomitable Lions coach Paul Le Guen.
Fecafoot said Cameroon will camp in Nairobi that was Le Guen’s preferred choice of pitching his team’s training camp.
Cameroon are expected to be in Nairobi for a week at a date to be announced.
Zambia and Cameroon will play each other on match day 2 in Group D on January 17.
Awe sure. The sad part is that almost every Zedian can guess the outcome of the results and nobody, am sure, is looking forward to this match. twalibelela
But here our Zambia National Socer Team wants to go and camp in Spain! I hope hosts Angola haz no planz to camp in Portugal.
Thats what we call football and confidance regardless of where you camp, chichetekelo zebigg, and they will infact save more cameroonian taxe payers money camping in Kenya than ourown losers zambian national team, considering money to be paid for airtickets going to spain, the facilities they will use zambia in spain above all food.despite draining the country zambia will not even bring anything back home
why shud the zambian national team camp in spain when its winter here? You know our boys dont like june..let them camp in mongu where its close to angola ahd has almost the same weatheras in angola. It will be cheaper for the nation and it will help boost moral for football all over the country.amen
# 4 i totally agree with u the chaps should camp in mongu.Do some exercise in the sand of the barotseland and have a friendly with mongu selected it will be beneficial for both acclimatisation and physique.Camping in spain is nonsense weather wise and even thinking of a friendly against the spanish national team. These chaps will be brushed by torres and xavi ,they will have doubts about their abilities at the africa cup if a friendly is organised against the spaniards we are not in their league .
Camping in Spain is another example of FAZ misplacing their priorities. The’ll just go there and end up demoralising the players if when they lose by a huge margin to spain and also when they pay them ama 2 kwacha as allowances. Yes, let them camp in Mongu, if its too costly there, they should try Shang’ombo, its closer to Angola!
