Faz has said, without going into details that changes are coming to the Zambia bench ahead of the Africa Cup finals next month.
Faz vice president Emmanuel Munaile said the changes were necessary for team unity in Angola, in veiled reference to attempts to seal any news leaks while the team is at the Africa Cup.
“We will be making changes to the technical bench,” Munaile said without elaborating in details on the victim to be axed from the bench and forced cancel on his travel plans to Angola.
“They are certain things that you in the media might not know that happen and we need to go to Angola with one voice.”
Munaile’s comments come after a recent threat issued in the press by Faz treasurer Bonny Mwamelo that one official will be dropped from going to Angola following revelations over player’s allowances at the just ended Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup in Kenya.
Mwamelo disputed the source of the story was from the players but an unnamed Faz official.
These guys ahev failed and they should stop blaming each other.
Mwamelo should just shut up!
All the bunch of them should just leave of their own accord or someone will be forced to remove them unceremoniuosly!
Munaile and Kalu should not axe the technical bench over people telling the truth. It hates me to death. Kalu, Munaile and them guys have failed the nation in terms of football management. I hate the whole bunches of them FAZ administration.
Why so many squables everywhere in Zambia? There is too much indiscipline and it’s about time order was restored otherwise things will just be moving from bad to worse. There is too much of a pull-him-down (Phd) mentality. It seems people are not interested in providing service but only in lining their pockets.

#10 Right on! No one iz wants to do the so called Phd to any of the FAZ memberz least of all great Kalu. Our celebrated Kalu brought so much joy to the Zambianz withe dribbling, thoze free-kicks against Morocco, Italy and many more, but now he iz not running football up to scratch. We will never forget the good thingz he did, but to ignore hiz failed administration now will be more sucidal. I worked with Chitembeya at Northern Breweries and obviously would want him to succed.
