  1. 1 – 1 final. This is not a promising result – we should have capitalised on Tunisia because you know the Lions are hungry

  2. Better than no point at all! Tunisia came around in the second half! And who expected a win, later on a draw when we only scored two goals during the qualifiers! Well to us!

  3. Not too promising a result, especially considering how feeble the Tunisians were in the 1st half. Anywhow, our boys have shown that they’re a force to reckon with…let’s hope they build on the experience and do better in the next game. Viva Zambia!!!

  4. Please don’t be ignorant people. Our boys needed to take advantage of the situation. They won`t win any game. Just watch. This is the best they will do. So get your heads out of the sand and see the end for us once again. Zambia no hope in all aspects. Shame shame. Look at what malawi did when they had the chance. They smashed in 3 goals. That Renard guy surely has no experience and needs to go back and clean toilets in france!!!

  5. 1 – 1 is a good result. Considering the upsets in this tournament so far, I think Zambia has a good chance of reaching the semi-finals.

  6. Nine Chale ati Ba jombolola! Hahahahaha Kambombwa Ba Chale those are words of our real battle fields from yesteryear. When Zambia and ourselves were the cream. Great result in as much ad we did not win, holding two draws against northern opposition is always a plus. Malawi had that killer instinct though. Ba Nigeria Banaba dabwisa. Great beginning for the African cup, eight goals in the first game, that was entertainment.

  7. yah zambia played good football, all we need in next game against cameroun is win but obvious draw with cameroun will be better and last game with Garbon should be a must win game, then will be fine. anyway not so bad zambia played well

  8. All things work for the good for those that love the Lord. Whatever Zambia does lately does not affect our hungry and hard working tax payers in this age, in terms of health. No hypertension and shock heart attacks; this in my humble words is a win win situation.

  9. As a human being fallen short of the Glory of God but always repentant, I want Gabon to lose for entertainment sake. Thank you Lord Jesus I am saved, because Chikonko of 93 would have been too much. Imagine the joy of our group now, the possible first and second position are up for grabs.

  10. #19 & 20 why so pessimistic? Give them boys a chance…I bet you’ll be nowhere to be seen or heard when they win the cup? Soccerly speaking…everything is possible!
#24 Mwanawakwithu nice words to end the day on LT with..I’m out for today. Goodnight folks.

  11. zambia started pretty well but they lacked stamina to finish off the seemingly delicate Tunisia. They became somehow complacent especially after they scored. However,a draw is better than a lose.

  12. Lisa thus my comment on 24 my sister. Eyo insele yakulisha for a lady or man for that matter. Though I feel your pain. Zambia has a habit as a national team and their government to let us down. Be blessed my dear but eyo insele away mama, enjoy the US and your dollars, go shopping for some shoes and say a prayer of repentance; you should remember like Zipporah you are our Nubian princess or Queen.

  13. Chapwa I am good and yourself? Enjoying the fruits of labour most teams put into preparations fo the African cup now called cocan hahahahaha. This one in particular started of with a bang. Angola Mali going for four goes a piece, then Malawi sweeping and mopping Algeria. Then Nigeria and Cameroon being shockingly defeated by Egypt and Gabon. There is nothing more we can ask for.

  14. Chapwa you be blessed as well, I receive that blessing in Jesus’s name. Blessing and prayers for you aswell and all LT bloggers and the owners. For salvation and growth for the already saved. People around the world are loving the beginning of this tournament; Brazilian ladies are cheering for African teams to use this as a stepping stone for the world cup. Bloggers make that money and invest, it’s money that was gained from Africas mineral and human resources lol. Later Bonse.

  15. When are these boys going to learn to defend? Nsuzu just switched off! Stupid goal to conceed! Might cost us now. As for Liverpool God help us!

  16. When are these boys going to learn to defend? Nsuzu just switched off! S t u p i d goal to conceed! Might cost us now. As for Liverpool God help us!

LT s t u p i d is not a swear word for God`s sake! Leave english to the english!

  17. I did not watch the game but from the sources arround here said Zambia played well. Let’s hope the coaching staff will mend the loop holes in the next game. The Lions are too hungry and hopefuly we will stand ground and not let them eat us up.

  18. THE LIONS ARE HUNGRY…..CHIPOLOPOLO HAS TO PLAY GOOD SOCCER FOR THEM TO WIN. THE POSSIBILITY IS THERE ALL THEY NEED IS CONFIDENCE.THEY SHOULD LOOK BACK AT THERE MISTAKES IN THE 2008 AFRICA CUP AND THEN MAKE UP FOR THEM. COZ GARANTED IT WONT BE EASY.WE DONT WANT TO SEE 5:1 AGAIN..PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLIZ! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TAPAPATA BA COACH H.R, MAKE SURE U DO UR JOB….

  19. Mwanawakwitu #29, good job for calling out Lisa, gently but effectively. Well done Zambia and let us all say a prayer for Haiti and hope this will be a wake up call for 3rd world countries to develop first response systems.

  20. Ni efi efyaume ifi fwala endeleshi, ati trapped in a man’s body otherwise she is speaking as a result of so much experience. Walibulokesha sana ayi mayo? Uli nensabu kanshi.

  21. No 40 Nubian princess it’s about time we really know who we are as a people. Women are the custodians of moral intergrity as mothers and bearers of the womb. A vessel worthy to be loved, thus as women begin to pickup evil male ideologies our fabric begins to faulter; thus the current situation in western nations. Then again absungu kale bapenene. If I as a man stumble address my folly less I teach others. Blessings and enjoy the rest of the nations cup. Destroyer naiwe suvela, let us enjoy as the whole world is watching real football.

  22. Well done boys, we love you
Im so worried Cameroon will be killing our boys hard time. I hope our boys are prepared both physically and mentally. Facing Cameroon is like fighting Talibans. Kaya mwandi only God knows

  23. Another first round Zambia elimination in the offing. The boys are just useless. A tean like Mozambique or Malawi could have beaten Tunisia. Now the AFCON lourney is over. Ther is no way Zambia will beat Cameroun and Gabon. Cameroun is wounded after falling to Gabon and will want to stay in the competition by hammering Zambia and Tunisia. A repeat of 2008 where Cameroun looted Zambia in their second game after they were beaten in the first game against Egypt.

  24. Its again the case of ‘We told you so”. Back to the drawing board. The midfield was sleepy for most of the times and Tunisia dominated the mid and could just pass through at will with no opposition. This is the very reason why our defence was caught napping. Young Mbola was troubled by the big Tunisian strikers and was visibly tired. The strikers atleast tried. The coach should learn to make substitutions when he sees that the team needs reinforcements. He brought in Mayuka with 10 minutes remaining, which was rather late. But I see us not going any where once again. Tukamona pa Sunday.

  25. I agree with No. 47. The coach really cost us a victory. The young boy Felix Katongo was tired. He should have been substituted for an outright attacking player like Clifford Mulenga somewhere in the 70th minute. Same applies to Chamanga for Mayuka. The litmus test for a good coach is the ability to make substitutions at the right time. Unfortunately, as far as I’m concerned, our coach doesnt have any of those attributes. Too bad indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  26. MM BEN ADAM u r a pessimist… the midfield was not sleepy at all more the reason we had a lot of possession. The truth is that the Tunisians defended resolutely when Chipolopolo launched attack upon attack but there was a lapse on our defenders as they played to the whistle. Maybe you didn’t see that goal Tunisia score closely. Our defenders were appealing for hand ball as it seemed that the Tunisian attacker hand knocked the ball with a hand and that was the mistake. Mbola had overlapped and did not cover his left flank and so the scorer had all the time to score unchallenged. The fact is that the boys played better football and you can’t start writing them off as if they lost. A draw is a better start when you play with a powerhouse like Tunisia and Zambia can still qualify come…

  27. FAZ please start preparing benefits for this FAILED coach he shud be palying tenis in France. I should nopt see him here again. Give him his money in Angola and goes direct to play tenis may be Roger Federer he has together with this Kalu failed us > THey SHOULD GO YES THEY SHOULD GO

  28. Let us rally behind the Chipolopolo Boys they did their best considering the journey to qualification. We often lose phychologically as a result of playing names instead of teams. Look at Gabon how they held on with a 1-0 lead against Cameroun. The only worry is our defence. I am sure as the tournament progresses the chaps will gain momentum. What happened to fans chartering a plane and buses to Lubango. Its better to travel by plane not by road. With heavy drinking habits by Zambian fans one may find himself stepping on landmine whilst trying toanswer the call of nature by road side. Better go by air for those intending to travel to cheer Chipolopolo Boys. Wish the Best Against Gabon and Cameroun.

  29. Well done Zambia! This is OUR year. This is OUR cup. We ARE the champions! One point off Tunisia, 3points off Cameroon and 3 Points off Gabon. Next we destroy our nemesis Egypt. We are the champions. Courage brothers! Quit you like men and fear NO one.

  30. Again it’s the same story of being caught napping that defender cost us the game.He was busy raising
his hand apealing to the referee to blow the whistle for an offside.Big Mistake.Kalu has repeatedly told this lads “EYES ON THE BALL” ,instead of clearing that ball from the danger zone the chap raised his hand.H.R pliz tell the boys not to be doing that coz referees even ignore clear handballs inside the penalty box.

  31. Was a good game from the chipolopolo boys but again they could have done better than that,i mean surely tunisia was outplayed and that was a fact known even to the tunisia’s bench and fans too, they were all wetting their pants in fear of losing until that point when zambia felt sorry for them and decided to share the points,i mean that only happens in WWE where when you knock your opponent down you relax and start celebrating with the fans when the match is still in progress meanwhile your opponent is gaining momentum and before you know it shi**t backfires.Point is zambia could have minted all 3 points, but instead the chaps gave in and made a basic error by not picking up the chap that was left alone to score the equalizer..

  32. @Zedian Spy

“Eyes on the ball” is one thing, “ball watching” is a another. They both describe the same thing except one is complementary and one is derogatory. Unfortunately we were ball watching!

  33. The Zambian football story is a sad one, and will continue to be unless a complete overhaul takes place.
Like I have said, it will be “back to the drawing board” after the Gabon match and hoping to do better in the next AFCON, if at all we will even make it. The circus goes on, and on, and on and on. Ohhh. Let go back to work now. All the best Zambia, anyway.

  34. Zambia with Kalusha as FAZ President will never go very far. After our anticipated bashing at the Tournament, we should do a serious forensic audit that should ensure we kick out chancers from Football administration. Jokers like Munaile, Galu or sorry Kalu and the Coach.

We have the talent but what is lacking is pumping ambitions in our players. kalusha took over with much excitment generated. The state has funded the team adquately but results not coming. failed COSAFA, Failed World Cup Qualifications what more do we need to know things not in order.

  35. You people should be grateful we didnt lose. Let’s not be delusional and expect to win without putting in the hard yards.

  36. 1..zambian players r nt fit,,,reason too much chiwuku,,2..good footballl in middle is nt goin to win us games,,we have to be lethal in frnt and diciplined at back,,3,,untill zambians swallow their pride and allow zambians in diaspora to play we shall be nuffink,,uselesss bunches..4,,education,,zambian players can hardly speak good english,,i been to angola and mozambique and i saw that each and every person cn speak portugues,,old and young,,means wen de go to europe they cn stand well n progress better same goes to french speaking countries wer all speak and wen de go europe its easy..unlike our brothers who cant speak proper..means lack in confidence,,,wake up zambians and swallow youre pride,,,!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  37. #60 Zambian! Speaking a foreign language has nothing to do with a person’s intelligency per ser. if you think all mozimbicans, angolans can speak potoguese, you are mistaken. Why is mozambique not better than zambia soccerwise? Pliz! I beg your pardon. Language is a colonising factor. And I think you may be too deeply colonised to think like that. We dont need more zambians like that…..! By average Zambia performed better than any team qualified to the world cup. Imagine if you were nigerian, Ivorian, tunisian, algerian, hmmmmmm, Just say congrats to Zambia for that draw.

  38. you should appreciate the lads you people without thank you in your mouth, all you with -ive comments support other teams leave us alone ba Zambia win or draw or lose, ni pa ba mu mpika palibola

  39. The indomitable inkalamu were joyful about the draw. They wre watching the game closely and saw the weak areas in which they will do there attack come sunday, guess especially the porus mid field.
