UNIP-NRF to work with UPND-PF pact

1. uko,,,wapya munzi,another nightmare for Inept Kunda,as if he hasnt got enough problems already with the floods and trying to discredit the PACT at any given opportunity,,now this,awe sure

2. This is very serious now…!!! what have they seen in UPND through pact that every one now is joining pact through UPND. Only half hearded man can just follow PF when they know there leader has no degree which is the requirement for any one to be presidential candidate. It is up to sata to tell his supporters that he will not stand instead of misleading his people. Sata can play a very big role in this pact..!! he can still have exective powers instead of telling lies that he has two degrees,, forged one…!!!!!.

3. This does not scare the MMD at all. The MMD is strategizing for 2011 and is also bringing prudent economic growth in the nation. They steered the nation well during the financial crisis. The MMD is scooping the 2011 elections.

   On another issue, it is interesting to note that all the people joining the pact are joining through the UPND. I wonder what that means for PF 😕

Please UPND/PF pact let sata come out strongly and show the nation his qualifications. sata has alot of support along the line of rail and can sell well for the pact..!!! instead of telling us the true about his hinden degrees and plans to show during nomination day can prove imposible to any meaningful zambian. sata please do the right thing before HH takes over your support. Just tell the Post news paper to pubishes your qualifications for free so that you maintain your support which you have through out the country….!!!!!! where are the people in PF. The pact is an agreement between the two parties, now it looks like three, and it is up to the people to decide who will lead the pact. Concerning your above statement above I have quoted, it should speak volumes to many when it takes an MMD controlled central govt to act on behalf of majority controlled PF councils. It simply means some councilors are not working. Why didn’t they build any drainage systems with money allocated to them? Now I don’t know whether Kanyama or Ngombe is controlled by PF, infact I don’t know who controls the two places. But this is enough evidence that the MMD works hard to address people’s problems like they are trying to do with the floods.

    I though we were talking about floods. I don’t understand why you started talking about hearses when the issue was on floods.

    All I am wondering is why didn’t the councils (which are majority controlled by PF) build any drainage system? Why didn’t the councils plan for the floods? The central govt has to plan on a Macro level. They have to look at the situation in Kitwe, Ndola, Chipata, Livingstone, etc. Lusaka is not the only city in Zambia. Councils who plan on a micro level could have planned for drainage systems but they didn’t. You cannot expect the central govt to do everything. It is simply giving councils a free ride. Just look at Chipata municipal council and how hard they are working. They want city status and are working towards it.

We will deal with that issue at a later stage. We want to come with a strategy that will surprise the MMD. If Sata shows his degree, everyone (MMD) will focus on him because he has more political support than HH. I wish to advise the people not to focus on degree item. The item to look at is the campaign trail for the pact. VIVA Pact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should heat the road to all provinces and campaign for him especially in you province where MMD is strong.

    The excuse of “funds” is totally unfounded. In other countries, municipal bonds are issued when councils do not have funds for infrastructure projects. If the councils where serious about development, they would have issued bonds to raise funds for such projects.

    As for the step son analogy, 1.) Who is the step son accountable to? 2.) Who has the power to deliver disciplinary action against the son?

    As far as I am concerned, the MMD govt did not vote for councilors, the people did and the councilors are accountable to the people. The councilors should have dealt with the problem of drainage systems. Now it has to take central govt intervention to do a job councils have power to do. [tbc

In every company you have a structure, you have someone in charge of Finance, someone in charge of Operations, someone in charge of marketing, someone in charge of IT, someone in charge of public relations etc. You cannot expect a CEO to do the job of the person in charge of Finance, Marketing, etc when they are people who can do the jobs.

    The councils are supposed to do those jobs. If they cant then why did they bid for the jobs? Why must it take central govt intervention to do a job a local council can do? It does not make sense to me.

42. Peace Maker, the Vice President of Zambia will also need to have the same qualifications of a presidential candidate under the NCC recommendations for a new Constitution. 51. Masheke cannot garner any support in Zambia let alone Western Province. He is a non issue. This is a man who has failed at anything he has tried since the KK days. I am just waiting to see what strategy the rebel PF MPs from Luapula have. I can see some seats in Southern Province being lost to the ruling party. The first opportunity that the opposition has to dislodge the MMD seems to be slipping away very fast.
