I think The Post has been digging rather too deep with its recent graphic images of women dancing in some named Lusaka night clubs. The images are not only breaking the moral fibre of our society, but defeating the purpose of restriction and censorship that safeguards the operation of nightclubs.
Bars, Taverns and Night Clubs have age restriction clause to prevent minors from getting access. In most cases the entrance to these establishments clearly bares a notice imprinted ‘PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18, ARE NOT ALLOWED’. Besides most nightclubs if not all, exercise the ‘Right of Admission’, the clause empowers them to exclude some persons, from the business premises, for whatever reason management may deem fit.
The logic is simple; these places trade in alcoholic beverages and cigarettes, controlled substance that must only be accessed by adults –At least at their own risk. Cigarettes for example breed the deadly lung cancer and the abuse of alcohol affects ones judgement, which may result in making regrettable and sometimes fatal decisions.
Primarily, people go to night clubs for a ‘nice time ‘simply put, to have a couple of beer and a dance. But after too many beers and energetic dancing, some revellers add more their menu. Nightclubs and bars alike offer a favourable atmosphere for illicit sex. Moreover, with the ‘Friday Njikata fevers´ taking nightclubs by storm, the intoxicating level of these establishments is getting off the edge. The mini-skirts are getting shorter, slits are cut longer, see-through dresses are becoming much clear and flushing of underwear’s’ seem to have become a norm.
Nevertheless, the tendency of nudity in nightclubs is old a culture as the nightclubs have existed. However, the activities of this social life should not be brought in the main stream society. Just like in a home situation, certain things that are done in the bedroom can not be done in the living room or the kitchen- unless the children are not around.
Back to the ship, if we insist that the nightclub lifestyle is worth some news for public consumption, then there must be a decent way to portray it, than just to expose nudity without any proper explanation. Going by the ancient Greek definition of pornography, some of those images exposing thighs, bottoms and women’s underwear can perfectly illustrate porn. We do not need to see such images so openly, in the name of free press.
Perhaps in the interest of the general public, some of these online news platforms should bare the disclaimer ‘SITE NOT SUITABLE FOR PERSONS UNDER 18’ to avoid unsuspecting readers from being intoxicated with up-skirt explicit materials.
why is Fred suddenly so keen on showing these imoral pics ?What does he want to prove? This is irresponsible reporting as usual from Fred, why does he not show us traditional dancers?Or school kids dancing?

I have never been in the night club.Through The post i have seen what goes on there.Thank you a billion ba Post i dont need to go there to know what goes on.Thanks to technology. Thanks to Tomas Nsama the post camera man.
People this is information age and if you think information is only going to be what you think it should,I urge you to relocate to another planet.
YAYA dont be subjuctive to the pictures in the post to an extent of hating someone doing his job.Just look at those pictures and learn something.Your mind sees what it wants to see.If you want to see porny you will see it in those picks,If you want too see how immoral the society has become you will see it in these picks,If you want to see why your doughter should or shouldnt go to night clubs you will certainly see it.The list is endless and its not Membe to chose what you see,the choice is altimetly yours.

Good job Post, keep them coming,by exposing them, they will be more careful with their dressing when going out, atleast they will think twice before choosing what to wear,if anyone wants to go out partying in a skimpy outfit, then they should be ready to be shamed,SIMPLES!!!
meanwhile, you HOLLIER than THOU,moral gurus are the ones who drool over these same pics with a stash of porn under yo pillows, and then come out to condemn-WANKERS
I agree with the writter, the post digs rather too deep on Nightclubs.I think this cameraman will soon be treated like his fellow collegue was traeted by KALU.Morever these are drunk poeple he is dealing with hence he should be more careful.I am a very srtong supporter of the post newspaper but I think on this one they have gone beyond the lines
You dont have anything to talk about, those of you condeming the Photos on the post, you have a problem with your minds I mean who forces you to see what is printed. Most of you crying foul are the ones that leave their wives at home and go for the Sololas in the pubs. Yes you are afraid ati you wives will see what you do. The fact is that Nightclubs are there and alot happens their why should people be kept in the dark??????????? you are selffish mufuna mukazi gwila mweka Amabele. If you are a good boy or Good girl simple dont look at the pictures and dont go there. We have a lot of porno but not everyone reads it. So people free will and self control finito:-w:)>-
Continue exposing them………………………………lol
# 1,honestly you only read the Post newspaper.Try international newspapers then you will realise how restrictive The Post is.It is doing a great job taking those photos and we need them,if you dont like it stop reading it.Is that how ignorant you are?%-(%-(%-(%-(%-(
SO BA POST KEEP IT UP WE WANT TO KNOW WHO DEOS NOT GO THERE, IF YOU CANT BEAT THEM JOIN THE
Please night clubs are night clubs and adult night things happen there, its not new and neither are mini skirts, slits, etc. We all have choices whether to be there or not and same goes for newspaper articles, magazines, etc. Lets just all try to do our part without hindering others from doing theirs**==
# 2
should pics of bare chested girls cum show, u will be the first one to condemn saying the young girls have rights to privacy…………….blah blah.
personally i think that this is ok, so that as we go out in the night we should watch ourselves and behave accordingly, i would also like to urge both the post and daily mail to capture all the cars that stop along adids ababa road to pick up ladies and splash them full page, if that’s the only way we will decrease the HIV infection rate!
I THINK BA POST ARE WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CALL IT PORN THEY HAVE NOT GOT OVER THE STRIKE THING SO THEY ARE TRYING TO PROVE A POINT
Usually pictures taken inside a night club are private property unless otherwise most pics of missbehaving are caught on comera outside the night clubs and you find lots of them plastered over the papers.
If the pictures are of somewhat public interest there is no harm, i think the problem with the post is that most of the images they are adding have no story to them.
It’s just right all evil things that happen in the night are exposed. You can’t have women moving naked in the name of fashion. There’s so much moral decay in the Zambian society and us with daughters need to see what goes on at these nightclubs. There’s nothing wrong with ladies going to night clubs but let there be decency in their dressing:)>-
# 10 To be honest with you i do not read that useless paper i can not waste my GBs browsing Fred’s narrow thinking , i read real news written by professional journalists not demon possessed writers.Thank you.
We all know that it happens, and you see it somewhere, they you by someone who is an elderly person, you are not going to complain coz not everyone is looking at you. Now to let the whole world look at your nudity is something else. I do’nt think all of you supporting the post pictures are not married, because personally i would not like my son to look at those pics. Yes we see those things but not the way you are showing them, what are you learning from them? I am telling you 95% of those who see those pics they just think it is pornography and they want to continue looking at them. They are not good for under age, that is why they are restrictions at pubs it is because of such acts. So they must not be brought into open for every one to see. If you want to see them go to night clubs.
Some night clubs are so notorious that you can what their patrons go for just by their presence. Decent people avoid them. The exposee by The Post just brings to the fore some of the activities in these places. We are justified to stop our kids from such outings! Only those adults that leisure in these activities will be cross with The Post. Beware, you may find yourself in one of the editions soon!
The government of the republic of Zambia must do something about this. If they say NO UNDER 18 in bars the law must be obeyed. But what the post is doing is they are bringing out to the public what is not supposed to seen by every one. Every one knows what goes on in the bedroom of married people, but that does not mean you can take the photos and show them to your children and your neighbours. It is restricted to the people in the bedroom. In short the post is not helping the GRZ to build a better zambia. The post is immoral.
Ba post just like nudity…RB ONCE exposed them through chansa kabwela but you Zambians did not support him just because he is president. We should learn to support owr president fellow countrymen
ABASH PORN
the post sales go high pa weekenend
One only have to go out at nite around Northmeads shopping area to see underaged girls flashing their “privates” to motorist.. young girls as young as 10yrs patrol the area at night flashing their nakedness to any car that passes their direction in order to attract customers!! Even if the girls are not allowed in the nite clubs, roaming the streets at nite is their only means to make a living… some of them are street kids who offer their bodies in exchange for a few kwacha’s in order to survive poverty in Zed. Many “parents” from the slums are aware of their daughters nite crawling but just turn a blind eye, cuz their daughters are actually the bread winners. Many single women support themselves by going out to niteclubs to look for loaded men with money to spend:x
Well done the Post. The pics are ok. Everyone has a choice whether or not to read a certain newspaper. Same goes for Internet sites. #6 on moral gurus you remind me of a Pastor who annoints his female followers by touching their private parts. The same are the moral gurus. And #10 on international papers reminds me of British newspapers. When one reads one, one sees that the Post is exposing nothing at all.
Point is dont condem the pics Condem the dressing. Some of you who were there Jaming in the 80s can agree with me.I mean those who used to go to outings like Mooncity,Room @ the top,Circles,Step Disco,Trends,Bantu Disco etc.Revelers used to dress exceptionally well.In those days it was who is in the best gear?. Not now days as shown in the pic the chaps are dressed in Jeans with T/Shirts. thats CLAP. Fiko ifi.In those days you endup being turned away by door bouncers.
imwe nisnhi kanshi? post atuletela porn now u are against it. many zambians dont have internet access and thus cannot masterbate! guys who are kuvyalo are tired of powaling. give zambians a chance to release some stress. deuces bane and happy fantatines.:)>-
Do you know that you can look at porno alone as an adult? Now don’t show allow others to see them, what are you trying to achieve by exposing them to young ones? But if found in posession of the same material you will be arrested. Let me warn you we will arrest you.
Big up ba post and keep exposing them. Maybe someday they will learn that dancing naked is is not just good.
iwe numbala 24! have you ever heard of the word HISTORY? if you wanna go back to the 80s be my guest! things change bane! if you are not changing thats your own problem. let the ladies dress freely. even chintako outfit no ma one. come here and c how avanakashi dress. everytime nili mu club kuno chilalinda the while night. so ve even stoped goin out. nga naumfwa nooonu ku penis i just call escort agencies now. iye elo ni valentines pa wikend. i ve ordered 3 fima blondes fyeka fyeka.mmmm awe wish me luck guys. i just pity ba neighbour, i hope alikwata chilimba
Chanda Mwenya you’re a shameless hypocrite, how did you know that the Post publishes rude pictures on their site? simple answer is that you frequent their site and perhaps even enjoy taking a peep. One advice for you, stop visiting the Post. Have you ever heard of page 3 girls iwe?

congrats Post for exposing these breast showing & G string showing ladies. Expose more so that there will be some decency in these places. Those complaining are afraid to be caught there. Ladies, dress well & the Post will take decent photos. For this reason, don’t blame the Post. blame yourselves. Yahoo ba Post
some are crowned fashion queens when they expose themselves in skinty dresses and swimsuits on international stage with the same outfits back in Zed they are condemmed as halfnaked chintomfwa’ what is now the dress code in Zed for women.:-?
LT has also joined the Post in publishing eye catching pictures…look at the lady in red, obvious getting ready for valentine.lol
walai nthwenu, whats your story my man? ever horny munthu wandi, try marriage if you are married go for therapy you may be an addict. you need treatment. nothing to be ashamed bu lwele fye just like malaria.
Even movies are sensored and certified why not snsor your paper ba Post?[-x[-x
Did this Chanda Mwenya say “Nightclubs and bars alike offer a favourable atmosphere for illicit s.e.x”? “The Post” should not hezitate/relent to expoze such, to teach the culprits an embarassing lesson and send warning shots to thoze withe same immoral/ shamefull intentionz. Who said Night Clubz are for irresponsible behaviour?

You guys you should come to Engi and you see that 80 % of papers contain a naked woman ( tits out and just a G-string ) name them sun, daily mirror, star, etc. The post pics is just some pipo having a good time so let them be and instead of complaining just go there and enjoy too ala !
A CLOSE LOOK AT THE COMMENTS ABOVE ALMOST ALL THE COMMENTS FOR THE PICS ARE FROM THE PIPO IN ZED (3 OR SO ) AND MOST OF THE DIASPORA (THE REST) ARE AGAINST- JUST THOT YOU WOULD LOVE TO KNOW
# 4 What job is this cameraman doing by making public what is suppose to be private? Night clubs exist all over the world but its only in Zambia where this is seen as news, besides some people go out to have fun with their loved ones and so there is no reason why their pics should appear in the post newspaper.
Concerned citizens & NGOz shd come 2gether and take legal action against the Post.
whats wrong with the picks kanshi? So people dont like ndiyo? Or they are just pretending. I just like the Post for the job well done.Ba kazi bovina na ndiyo panja nibakonda. But dont misunderstand me coz Mukenani mweve siningenamo niyangana cabe.
#43 the job is that he is taking pictures for me to see coz i have no prevallege to be in zambia right now like you.So i appreciate this.If you want go there also with your wife i would like to see how you celebrate through the hard working Honarable Camera man.
with all due respect i think this is a silly article…pictures of night clubs and concerts and such have been published for some time now..only difference is before now, we didn’t see so many naked girls. its sad to see that the girls find this some how necessary. i think we have misunderstood social development and keeping with the times. even here in london, to get into a decent club, the girls have to be dressed in a classy manner. showing too much skin or your bum or underwear is just sooooo unattractive…anywhere in the world!!!!
*43 AFRICAN CHILD….a nite club is a public building…its like going to the shops…as long as you are of the right age you can go in and enjoy the services there in…if the presence of a camera man disturbes you, then leave…or better still behave in a manner befitting a lady. for instance in the above picture..the ladiees seem to be having a good time and neither one is showing people her underwear or bottom….in short…when you go out..ANYWHERE in public…behave yourself…enjoy responsibly
2 Peter 2:7-9
7And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
9The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
Revelation 22:12
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
It is so very simple that it does not need a rocket scientist to work out. S.e.x sells! The p.o.r.n. industry in the US grosses more than $5 billion dollars evry year. Why is it so? Because we have become a people of appetites. We are bringing up kids to believe that any appetite must be satisfied at whatever cost as long as it brings one pleasure and ‘happiness.’ L.u.s.t. is strong desire. Everything is wrong when the desire comes from the flesh and eyes. 1 John 2v16 tells us that desires do not come from God but the world. Corruption came into the world through l.u.s.t. Sin also comes out of l.u.s.t. The Post is selling because it is feeding the desires of the flesh and eyes (graphia). It is not just the photos but even an-archy (rebellion against leadership)!
Zambians like talking… come to england u c newspapers e.g sun page 3 or 4 u will find woman omost naked on a page… nite clubs r public place and every public place get down with anything… come 2 th uk and c nice legs in the papers.:x
Walai Nthwenu you’re so disgusting mate. P’..lease spare us your rotten pervy thought. Thats the problem with ukupatuka, you leave all your morals behind and lower yourself to a lower level of morality than that of the scams of britain in an effort to fit in. Such a shame.
# 39 what can I say the world would have benn boooooring without people like you:):):):):):):):) I hope one day you will find the one you truly LOVE, all the best you have made my day
L.u.s.t. extends beyond s.e.x. There is l.u.s.t. for food that is feeding the obesity epidemic. There is l.u.s.t. for power that is feeding dictatorships and the list goes on and on. Remember that people do not corrupt their morals because of what they see, but they see what they want because their morals are corrupt already. It is not The Post’s fault. They have a newspaper to sell and they will sell it by what people want to buy. There was a time when even Dracula sucking blood from the neck of a young woman was unsuitable for showing; did it make society more moral? No. You haven’t been shocked yet, only wait for ‘the man of sin to be revealed.’ Morality is not Christianity and the sooner people realise this, the better. Christianity is a living relationship with God thru Christ!
post reporters should be objective in selcting stories or pictures to show us.taking pictures of pipo drinking and dancing in nite clubs is just childish reporting.who doesnt drnk and jive even the same reporter guys do it so why demonise it.we should be on the look out when we are getting drunk for some post reporter.thats why kalu kicks yo assess those are just bad manners
coco chanel! niwebo umwanakashi mulifika in europe te? i understand your anger. uliweka ka? still single ka? i uderstand your anger. black angry woman. lighten up mummy.
Latest, the lady who exposed her offals in front of RB in Mansa has been divorced, remember that picture from the post about 3/4 months ago.
The Bible says that ‘the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished; But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the l.u.s.t of uncleanness, and despise government’ (2 Peter 2 v 10,11). So you see then, that it is not what goes into the man (through eye gate, ear gate, mouth gate or whatever) that defiles a man, but what comes OUT of a man defiles a man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, greed, l.u.s.ts etc. The godly will always escape the corruption that is in the world through l.us.t. Many may find these pictures offensive because they wound their self righteousness. If your righteousness is from God, it cannot be wounded.
the saint. and all those who qoute the bible. if we want to read tthe bible or listen to quotes from the bible we would have gone to church.. or this site would have been called LUSAKA TIMES CHURCH PRESS.deuces bane:)>-
I think The Post should respect the privacy of these girls whose photos are displayed for public consumption without their consent. Not that i am supporting their immorality but someone who wants to see those images must make a decision, go, pay entry fee, sit there and watch unlike where we are forced to see what we did not plan for. Much as it is news and seems attractive to look at, our morals are being corrupted.
walai nthwenu mputi bizness
The word of God is sharper than any two edged sword, piercing… Oh! how true! Has it pierced your heart Sir/Madam so that you want to deny me my liberty to speak? What if I quoted Aristotle? Would you have said, if I want to hear Aristotle I will go to a Greek phylosophy class? If I quoted Mandela, would you say you will read him yourself in his autobiography? I doubt it. The reason you are offended is that this word is alive and causes you some secret discomfort. Do not be offended sir, this is good medicine for your soul. Drink it in and it will do you good. Christ Jesus came to save sinners, of whom I am chief!
What is the problem, today is friday so am going to a nite club have some beers then dance with any one who picks a dance with me regardly is naked to your eyes or not. That is something else otherwise that’s the thing!
and it has been like this for a long time so come to terms with it!
I guess it is just abuse of freedom of information or is it media freedom! Who doesn’t about Night Clubs! You headline is also misleading! Aren’t people, women free to wear what they like and what is in fashion? These girls are just victims of the overzealous cameramen, who want to capture what is on their dirty minds. Any girl wearing a dress has, obviously their pants exposed, depending on the angle, one is. Even a lady properly and decently dressed in an office and sitted on table can have her pant exposed if the camera man decides to go and take a pic from under the table! The same goes for woman just standing or dancing, or you do get down on your knees and bingo you get what you want! Leave the women alone! Sha!!!
the saint. pliz this is not a religious forum. give us your political or social view on the issue at hand. this is a public forum with believe me people from various religions. you do not want to start a religious war or debate here. it is just advice . you are in a european country and you will agree with me that in such nations they take these issues seriously and are sensitive issues. people refrain from publicly imposing their personal or private beliefs. bane we all follow different relgions and beliefs.if we all start bringing or supporting ourselves with religion then we will not move our nationa forward. lets keep religion for our own PERSONAL guidance. walai and sons. holla. deuces:)>-
number 61-the saint.religion is a static social object, meaning that unlike culture, it does not easily change. when we deal with the issue of politics , these are issues which are constantly changing. you cannot deal with mobile phenomenons such as politics and social issues by trying to resolve them using static elements such as religion. you will therefore need to to be objective in your line of thinking. thats my point of departure on this issue bane. twali soma. on a serious note, i know people dont take me seriously on this site but you will be surprised to know how many letters are after my name. i am currently pursing a masters in international politics my dissertation is dealing with african politics etc… so if you need a view on an issue i would rather i email you privtly.
europeans came and colonized us using religion as their main tool of achieving that goal. therefore religion has always been at the fore front of almost every african nation’s ideology or beliefs as a lame man might call it. If religion was an imprtant and effective factor in the success of nation building as well as economic development then africa by now should have been catching up with europe in terms of civilization and development. This is not the case bane. so please learn to use correct tools to solve problems. this problem has shown itself even in the spheres of culture. naya mukupowa bane. its that time of the day. deuces:)>-
As mentioned in the article, night clubs have always been the same. What’s new that the POST are trying to expose now? Did I also see the name of the cameraman? May be he’s bringing his own joy too much to the public. On a serious note, think of the children we need to protect from such. Maybe the adults have seen it all but the children have a right to be protected from “corrupting” material.:-w
Hell no! I disagree with of most of you bloggers here concerning the Post’s publication of indecent photos. Some of the images the post has been publishing are not of public interest at all. You can not just start hunting semi nude women in bars and start pasting their unauthorized images on your so called ethically perfect website. The Post are fortunate because they are in Z where many people lack legal support otherwise if it were in some other countries they could have been slapped with a law suit for invasion of privacy. The trend developing with the sensational Post is just yet another gimmick of trying to entice readers to their uninspiring website . Actually their website is fake when it comes to censoring comments. It is not free at all. Many genuine comments are not allowed.
yes:d/ we want to see wat happens in clubs as we parents do not know how our childrens behaves there
Fred is always trying to expose things but i think there is nothing wrong with how people dress going out. He just chooses to publish pics that catch people off guard and the angles that these camera men use are indecent. Once i remember there was a concert going on and the camera men were taking pics of the the dancers from underneath their skirts thats not the proper thing to do. I wonder if Fred would like for someone to expose what’s going on in his house with his wife or what he is doing in his private life thats is considered a sin with being with the same sex yet he is always quoting the bible.
Zed men should learn how to “keep em in their place” why can’t they just appreciate the beauty of the zed woman, while they are busy hurling stupid comments to women dressed in apparel fashion trends, foreigner men are busy picking out the best baits, leaving behind the bush women in tattered chitenges for the zedmen! Women should be left alone to choose what they want to wear in Zed, the nation sends off young women to beauty contests abroad where they have to show off their bodies clad in almost nothin, to be recognized as beautiful… has anyone ever heard of a zambian woman winning any fashion contest in wearing chitenge’s, just look at the recent contestant who represented Zed!! If the same dress is worn in the niteclub she would be called somethinelse:o to be continued…
The society has is now sick because of Mmembe.
Why are we only talking about the Post? Am sure most of you will agree with me that even the Daily Mail has these same pictures, so I suggest that if we are to talk about morality in reporting then the Daily Mail must be incooperated into this also.

plzzzzzzz next you’ll see her with an old white man like the skinny ex-bigbrother contestant in top lusaka resturants pathetic. Give the women the freedom and they’ll make you proud men, otherwise they’ll all go after tolerant people like old muzungus and their fat wallets

i always buy weekend post…very nice…food for the eyes@-)@-)@-)@-)@-)@-)@-)
Now this is what I call Freedom of Speech. Judging from the high number of comments alone, I can tell that there are those for and against the named graphic illustrations on this site. Fact is that there are hundreds of thousands of sites on the net for people who would want to see explicit pics from Nightclubs. On the other hand, I think it’s all about being democratic – showing enough to fulfill the desire of the majority but not too much to disregard the ethics of our society.
Its all about prostitution by men and especially the women driven by poverty stricken
women and depraved men
The post congratulation for the job welldone.continue exposimg the poeple who like expossing the private parts. The must be drinking in a respective manner.A night club is not a bed room to expose the underpant or their dierty thoughs.I was very dissapointed when so one public figure which failed to win in South Africa exposing diert thoughs.Shaaaaarmmmm.Kimitolo .How do we even exopect AIDS to reduce.VIVA POST.

You are talking about religion and I am not. I am talking about a way of life in a relationship with God. You are not obligated to read my comments if you find them offensive. Skip to the next paragraph and you will be happy, but for a season.
I agree with the writer to a certain extent but personally i dont have any problem with those pictures shown to us by the post why ? I believe that life is shaped like a coin. There is no way you can only acknowledge the head and ignore the tail coz by doing so you dont get the real coin.Hence i dont see a reason why pipo should find it offensive when such things are exposed because that is just a glimps of the other face of life, otherwise only having pictures of worshipers at dunamis & bread of life churches speaking in tongues will just make us to be ignorant of what happens on the other side of life .Probbly i should thank the post for making my day i just saw a picture of my former neighbour gelo ali wakuchurch nefitenge but seeing her muli mini and dancing to ndombolo was refreshing
What do we have to gain as a nation by looking at such pictures? You people exited by such pictures are very simple minded and are as equal to someone exited about flies on excrement. What do you expect to see when you go to nightclubs , women in chitenge’s or burkha’s singing hymns? As a nation am surprised as to how many of you are so exited by gossip and small talk of people you don’t even know. Nightclubs are not the only place that need exposing because a lot of these people that are not in nightclubs are also HIV positve and immoral
I’m sorry but the Post is wrong!!! Do people no longer have the right to privacy??? The other week they said the woman went to the office to complain because she did not give consent for her picture to be in the newspaper. I have no problem with post printing pictures, but unless there is a genuine journalistic reason to so, people should be allowed the choice of wheather or not to have their picture printed. Even if peoples dressing in the club is risque, is it not a free country?? Next people will be supporting those mobs that undress women in town for wearing “short” skirts or tight trousers…lets get off our moral high horses and understand that peeps are free to club
Moral fibre you talking about in Zambia I don’t see it even if the post where not there.the post has nothing to do with distroying the moral fibre……good job ba post maybe the writer is one of those binji drunks of lsk
There has never been a need to post pictures of night club patrons. it is very very bad journalism, everyone with a sense of public and privacy ought to know that the things that happen at night clubs are not for general public publication. People that patronize these premises are presumed to be of age and old enough to handle the exposure the make and receive. The post has been way out of its depth on this one.it is a hangover from the nurses strike incident.Poor journalism. aM SURPRISED AT PEOPLE SAYING THE POST SHOULD CONTINUE…SHAME ON YOU. Zambians when will we ver learn and grow up…? PS you dont need a picture to know what happens in a night club..you must be pretty shallow to say that..we all know even me at 67 i have never been to one, but from my parents teaching..i know.
it’s jes a marketing strategy…;));)):-j
I have two observations:
1. The post is not a pornography newspaper like the playboy magazine people read it for political comments when they are not in the mood for pornography. Imagine the consternation when in the middle of reading a political paper you find pornography. Disturbing.
2. It is gender insensitive to keep portraying women in such state. Some perverts start viewing ALL women as those who like to be naked. Ukutukumbwisha. Let us frustrate them and rape them. Let us not give them space they are all the same.
Let the post picture women breaking stones to feed their families as single parents. Women who sweep streets everyday and are paid meager wages. This would be in line with the general political agenda of the post newspaper. Pliz desist you are doing more harm than good
The shallowness disgusts me. It amazes me how the post would think they are doing anyone a service by portraying women the way they are. News flash; if one want to see women exposed in such a manner, plenty of sites on the world wide web specifically for that purpose. All this does is cater to an audience that feels the need to judge other individuals as if to feel better about their own situations, whatever those may be. The practice is shallow, disrespectful and simply should have no place in a society where women are already at a huge disadvantage. It is true what they say, there is no worse slavery than that of the mind. And I see the post is doing a great job making a buck out of it. Shame on those who sit back and place judgement, maybe next time try being part of some solution.
Let night clubs come up with either a no-camera-in night clubs policy or The POST should put up an age restriction on certain photos. Thats what other so-anxious-to-dig-deeper news sites do.
After all, which parent would like their 13yr old son to view such Post photos before clicking “Education Post”? [-([-([-(:-?:-?
@90 MATILDAH NGOMA.Dont be emotional about anything! Read the international media-RSA for instance. People must learn not to live in a box! I have seen all sorts of pictures portrayed in the post. For instance-modelling is becoming something pa Zed when just ten years ago, we were stoning miniskated women on the streets of LSK. The populace spoke against this behaviour-the womenfolk especially. I recently saw a picture of one girl who was in a competition -READY 4 MARRIAGE. She was uncovered dancing pants out in a night club! Now thats the message! Talk of music-why dont we blame musicians for what they do in the videos like that of OC & PETERSEN? Dont forget that, its the young ones who buy, pirate & listen to such music. No human being can change the nature of women, dont attack Fred too.
Society has moved on and it’s individual choice to either move with it or stay with tradition. Some countries are centuries ahead where giving birth is shown on terrestrial TV whereas for others there is public outcry when such is exposed to the public by media. Whether keeping the underworld concealed then trying to economically developed is the right way can be judged by comparing Zambia with England. I know America has a totally different outlook on everything. After all they always want to be different. And China? It’s so confusing!
