Catholics’ conduct forced me to expose Sata-Ngoma

Share

FORMER freedom fighter, Jackson Ngoma has said he exposed Patriotic Front (PF) Michael Sata’s alleged past where he was convicted for a criminal offence because the Roman Catholic Church was allegedly shielding and glorifying him as a living saint.

The former freedom fighter who also served as governor for Chipata, Petauke and Mambwe during the Kaunda regime was speaking on a live phone-in programme dubbed “Political hour” on Radio Breeze in Chipata yesterday.

Mr Ngoma said he decided to reveal that Mr Sata had served a jail term for an alleged criminal offence because the PF leader was being shielded and glorified as a saint by some sections of the media and the clergy.

Mr Ngoma said it was the manner in which the Church was portraying Mr Sata as a clean man that forced him to reveal what he knows about him.

“I decided to speak out now because Mr Sata is being glorified as a living saint, while some sections of the media also glorify him as a freedom fighter,” he said.

Mr Ngoma, who also claimed to be a staunch Catholic, said it was sad that Archbishop Telesphore Mpundu had allegedly decided to defend Mr Sata on his affair with his sister, Petronella, with whom he had sired two children.

When asked by a caller to state the criminal offence that Mr Sata committed, Mr Ngoma said it was only the PF leader who could answer that question.

He explained that he found Mr Sata serving a two-year jail sentence at Bwana Mkubwa for an offence which also led to his dismissal from the Northern Rhodesia Police Force where he served as a constable.

  1. Do ba sister i will defend you over moral woes because i’m Arch Bishop Mpundu. My sister Petronela need it.

  2. So why did it takes this looney so long to come out. And what makes him say Sata was in for a criminal offence if he cant even state what offence it was. Ifyabupubafye!!!

  3. SO WHAT ! who had no girlfreind before they could get married or has lady freinds even when married or even have s-e-x with them or father a child but remains a very hard working person

  4. Ci color Ngoma, you are just looking for nchito, I believe there other ways of gaining political mileage. Akwimbafye imbeba.

  5. Ever heard of LAPSE OF TIME as a breach of contract – Those are none starter issues please MR SUNDAY NKONDE can you please advise our masses in Zambia to talk about current issues affecting us. Those issues buried in the archives, skeletons in our wardrops won’t put food on the table. Can we have constitutional lawyers educate the politicians including this GOVERNOR or UNIP cadre from discussing a non-issue.

  6. Iwe Ngoma uli mbushi sana, where have you been all these years? Severe poverty has now caught up with you and you can now vomit any rubbish to have a simple meal on the table.

  7. No nation endangers its highest constitutional office with a certified convicted criminal that cannot pass intensive background check. How can other heads of states be cleared by the security systems to risk in a meeting with a convict? Sata is in the continum of convicted criminals of the likes of 1970s spoiler Musonda.

  8. VERY USELESS POLITICS OF THE YEAR. IMWE BA MMD WHATEVER YOU CALL YOUR SELVES, IF YOU KNOW WELL THAT YOU HAVE DONE WELL AS A PART AND THE GORVNMENT AND IF YOU HAVE DELIVERED TO THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA WHY ARE YOU HAVING SLEEPLESS NIGHTS OVER AN OLD MAN LIKE SATA? YOU HAVE SANK SO LOW BY DIGING PRIMETIVE USELESS INFORMATION. ONLY THE VOTE IN 2011 WILL TELL WHO THE REAL HARD WORKING MEN. FOR NOW CONTINUE TO DESPLAY HOW YOU HAVE FINISHED.

  9. As a convicted hardcore criminal, Sata has to consider applying to a criminal court for his record to be expunged instead of being flattered by Telesphore Mpundu his in-law and armchairr ignoramus cadres that time has sanctified him of his criminal record.

  10. Facts will convince everybody. Why doesn’t this Ngoma tell us what criminal offence Sata was put in jail for? And why do people want to drag the Catholic Church and Archbishop Mpundu into Sata’s affairs, as there is no necessary link?

  11. How do you expect the custodian of the law to be headed by a convicted criminal? Even commercial driven corporations do background checks and they will not, for fear of hurting the company, hire a convicted felon, which is usually clearly stated in their hiring guidlines.Sata is a convicted criminal and his record cannot pass security clearance.Look at businesses, employers or potential employers can get information about your criminal record from a credit report, the state police and/or from a record check on a national level. In most cases, the employer get employee permission in writing. In general, the employer can find out about anything on file irrespective of duration.Sata should have declared his criminal record. Fortunate enough for the PACT with 2 leaders, it has come up now

  12. religious intolerance, what next? ban the Catholic church? so we can have Chiluba’s church of theives instead

  13. As a convicted criminal Sata is legally and automatically disqualified from holding constitutional Presidential job but his PF.

As someone convicted of a felony; he is no different from those who have been convicted of illegal narcotics possession, criminally negligent homicide, 3rd degree assault, 2nd degree threatening, 1st degree reckless endangerment, 2nd degree unlawful restraint, 1st or 2nd degree riot, inciting to riot, or 2nd degree stalking; he could have been convicted of any offense involving moral turpitude; or discharged from the colonial police force under conditions that demonstrate questionable moral character. He cannot work Head of state, guard, or security officer if he had been convicted of a felony, any s-e-x-u-a-l offense, any crime that would question his honesty.

  14. Veteran your terminology is incorrect, the term “felony” is from US law not Zambian law. Get an education before you comment

  15. Who has not been to prison-KK, FTJ, or RB? Even Sata has been recently for motor vehicle case-remember- unbailable offence. Ba Ngoma those are you last words and you have not chosen them well. If RB wants to send you to missions abroad don’t bring other peoples names into redicule sure a Ngoma. Case ya mu 1950 with dates unknown is a none starter. Even you can not recall when you were arrested exactly. You are just being used.

  16. # 20,

KK, Mandela, FJT, RB were all political prisoners on political activism unlike Sata who as a colonial policeman distant from politics landed in jail on a criminal crime. He is good at suing let him sue Governor Ngoma and all of us here.A civil servant in criminal case convicted. What political party was he in 1960 because after his release from jail he joined Alice Lenshina’s Lumpa church with Joseya Chishala?

    # 19, don’t be confused with felony and criminal case. The point here is criminal case. I never went through UNZA but the US tertiary system but our interpretation of criminal law is is a matter of SEMIOTICS.

  17. Sata tomfwa, just listen to him on various radio stations. the language is uncivilised, and you expect him to be your president. Twakaka basa not in this country. in Zambia to be president you only try once. KK did it one attempt, so was FJT and equally ba Levy Ba Mwisho once and they were presidents. RB from nowhere also did it once. Now these trialist HH, SATAn and other should forget because Zambians tatubwelela kumalushi period. Sata should go be to be a conductor, HH to head cattle or back to preparing trial balance where there is trial and error

  18. Veteran what was the crime boss. tell us. you are making up things which will convince you. Again i ask you what crime was committed?

  19. #22 Ba Sata has been involved in all sorts of scandals and I would n’t be supprised to hear that he has committed a criminal offence in the distance past.

  20. Iwe Ci color veteran, what are you talking about? How do you know that he was not incaserated for political reasons?
Regardless of what you do,Zambians have already made a decission and its final you will never sway our thinking!:((

  21. It is sad to hear that our polical veterans and so called experienced politicians can have questionable reputations, this is not to say am convinced Sata is a criminal, but rather am worried if this turns out to be the truth, i cant imagine how Satas supporters the kaponyas will react. To be honest i have never supported the cobra and i dont intend to support him, Reasons 1 The way he behaved when he was a collonial police man. 2 The way he behaved with Kaunda when we wanted democracy. 3 The way he conducted himself during Chiluba misrule(mwanawasa had to resign) 4 The way he behaved when he was MMD general Secretary 5 The third term how he beat up poeple who oppossed it. 6 In the oppossition he portrays as if he is the only saint with brains yet he has introduced politics of insults.

  22. LOng time ago during the white headed rule and only whites where in the best places anytime, so blacks where subjected to anything.

    Viva pact, UPND and PF

  23. This Ngoma is one of MMDs tricks of trying to undermine Sata. Veteran nefipuba finobe why cant you face Sata at the Polls? Wait for 2011 to know whether Sata is popular or not. By the way do you know that Chiluba stole K10,000 from a widow of a former ZCTU work in 19978? Convert to the then exchange rate and you will see the real criminal Sata or Chiluba.

  24. Awe mwe, mad people are increasing in the country. What are they eating mwe bantu please????
Uyu mudala Ngoma awe mwe?? 1950 cases

  25. I think more Red Cards should be distributed across the country, iwe Ngoma, wilabepesha ba Katolika ngawachita ubupuba, you don’t even have any justification for what you said, Shame on you old man.

  26. Veteran, can you please tell us your interest in what you are talking about coz you are busy thinking for the 12million who have made up there minds contrary to your ascertions! Period!

  27. Mr Veteran, Can you tell us openly how your records have been with the police, employers, authorities with statutory institutions as well as your church in terms of tithe! Don’t think that you are so clean that you are claiming to be an angel – mind you don’t change names to pretend that we don’t know who is commenting!

  28. Systematically the PACT has been sabotaged. While Sata is under siege HH has deserted his partner counting chicks out of the theatre. He has gone into deafening silence of each one for himself God for us all. Lubinda is at a loss and infuriated that his Boss never confided any of these vices. The Presss office of PF has gone into freeze.PF cadres have been left exposed with their call that Sata Sata standing as if a PACT has never been flaunted. The candidature of HH is alien in the PF cadres while HH is under pressure in UPND that there is no plan for him in the PACT.In short the PACT has been sabtaged and immobilized when national campaigns should have taken shape.MMD is reorganizing and amassing billions of Kwachas for 2011.Indeed politics is a tough game.

  29. Are you the only ones who don’t know that Michael Sata was in Bwana Mkubwa prison on a case of theft by servant while he worked for Northern Rhodesia Police (NRP). Why are you insulting a decent man who has told the truth and shielding a person who was convicted for theft. Has the world turned upside down. This is what happens when people become too fanatical with politics. The truth ceases to matter.

  30. This country will only make progress when it does away with fanatical cadre politics and elect people on the basis of scrutinised character and track record.

  31. Mr. Ngoma what kind of a “staunch Catholic” are you. You will be better off confessing your own transgressions than worry about you friend’s sins. If you are a true cathloic you would have known by now that judgement should be left to God. God’s forgiveness is endless. Do not use politicals standrds to judge one’s spirtual standing. God’s ways are not our ways. God turned Saul (a persuctors of of God’s people) into an Apostle of Jesus Christ. He saw the light and he remained the the light. You spoke for RB. Yes all authority comes from God but on condition that people in authority do what is right otherwise they lose God’s favour. Poverty, unemployment, sicknesses, mention it among God’s people, you thinks RB still has God’ s favour? A staunch Catholic?????

  32. gentlemen even when u want change, Sata is not good leader to demand for a change, find an alternative politician, and he (sata) will not succeed as you may perssive ths as yo hero. Sata is the waste material among all the politician that Zambia has had.

  33. On “Mr Ngoma said he decided to reveal that Mr Sata had served a jail term for an alleged criminal offence because the PF leader was being shielded and glorified as a saint by some sections of the media and the clergy“, I like the courage of this old man. What the old man must recognise is that people at a Mr PF/Sata MC supporter known newspaper are catholics too.

On “He explained that he found Mr Sata serving a two-year jail sentence at Bwana Mkubwa for an offence which also led to his dismissal from the Northern Rhodesia Police Force where he served as a constable,” I am glad that this has come to light and Mr PF must clarify it now.

    Have a blessed day.

Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added…

  34. :-?:-?:-?What matters is the now and the future. RB in the now=Zero; Sata in the future= Bien +++
Sosa sosa ichalo chilekunfwa. This Ngoma chap was probably paid. It’s change or die Zambia.

  35. Ba Sata niba pompwe munshibila nsala. This old man Ngoma is only telling us what he knows about sata, pls dont insult him. Why should you get upset over revelation of sata’s stealing habits. Old habits die hard:-?

  36. veteran chi colour u la fola kuliba ba mmd.
ukulandapo ninshi alakutina. u scared of king cobra.twachula pafula ne mbwe shi

  37. On the Catholic Church, I feel sorry for them because their activities in the whole world are being known by everyone following the Scriptures in 2 Thessalonians 2.

The Holy Bible is really are great book for true Christians and I urge you all to take God, our Creator, more seriously.

    Have a blessed day.

Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

  38. These old chaps should honestly keep away from politics. This is really embarrasing :o. Behaving like nursery school kids sure[-(

  39. #41, Zade: You talk about “poverty, unemployment, sickness, you mention it” and blame them all on RB. Don’t you think you should blame them on Chiluba, Sata and Mwanawasa and MMD rather than RB personally. It is very important to be sober when we are making a major decision, such as who is going to govern us. Unfortunately, Zambians never understand the gravity of the matter that is confronting them and usually opt for slogans. The truth is all our former Presidents do not have good words to say about Mr. Sata, yet they all worked with him. You have never worked with him and probably do not know him.

  40. These so called freedom fighters annoy me. What freedom did you fight for?! if the state of hospitals are in this unspeakable state. This old man was the governor of Petauke!? This uneducated old man did not build anything in Chipata. There are no roads in Petauke. People use the bush as toilets. I cannot wait for fresh politicians to enter politics. Zambia had a higher GDP than Malaysia at independence. If you see Malaysia today you would be flabbergasted. The only thing Zambian politician know is to gossip about other politicians’ private lives. If you search for this *****’s private life you would be shocked, Talk about development, people are dying @ UTH. If you are a proper catholic you should know better that development is vital. Look at what Sata did as governor and shut the f…

  41. #47 What do you mean you feel sorry for Catholics? A particular church does not make one righteous but having the Spirit that testifies that one is a child of God. The catholic church is so strong but infiltarated by agents of the devil disguised as “saints.” They should not be used as standard to judge what the church of God has become today. As a believer and a staunch catholic, I find it more important to pray for such people as opposed to despising them. God’s wants everyone to be saved. My brother if you are a true believer pray for the people in authority but you will be failing in your christian duties if you do not speak out where they go wrong. RB and his friends are not doing much for the masses.

  42. Ba Konto Aba ba MMD baya sana.
what ever they will do and say will never seperate us from our hope SATA.We know He is a practical person He works not words but real works.
He has demostrated before and will do it when He become President after 2011 elections.

What ever you will say and do will mean nothing to us.The all nation has seen and known what’s best for them. It’s not you who can tell weather MMD has improved the living standard of Zambians but ourselves would be in a position to feel and see.

Don’t waste Time trying to convince any one it won’t work Bane Forget about Mwalya Mweka Dad (MMD) come 2011.

Its another Revolution you like it or not
Bring even more nosense against our president (Mr.Michael Chilufya Sata) that will never move us come what may.

    GO GO GO…

  46. Veteran has no bol!s. He dumps and runs. Plays like educated in law. He was demolished in a legal debate on ZOL by one old bloke there a couple times. records are there for all to see. was easy to tell the educated from a pretender. Lies have caught with your arse. run, liar, run!

  47. There are pipo who believe that Satanist can be a president.you know only dull pipo on tribal lines will vote for sata.By the way Zambia is big dont think that other tribes will waste their time on Sata.Choose some some body sensible other tribes will vote for him.It is olny bishop the brother in law and catholics from copperbelt and part of nothern will vote for sata.It is even better to vote for RB or HH or any who will come.

  48. Looks like People like the catholic Church and Lusaka Archibishop Telesphore Mpundu. Just support him. don’t pretend. And In fact what the Archbishop is doing, his simply a mouth piece of the Zambia Episcopal conference and the Catholic Church speaking on behalf of the voiceless.
I hope there is something in the canon Law which can discipline this guy of accusing the catholic Church. I don’t think he is Catholic but one thing for sure he is entitled to his opinion. And the catholic church supports freedom of expression.
look in the post for yesterday Sata said he doesnt know this man and the man has created stories. Chiluba said he had information about Sata as president but when he made the speech of his he didnt mention that had it was true he would have mentioned to pin Sata.Stop…

  49. Mu Zambia mwaliba ifyabupuba. A normal person cant believe what ka old Ngoma is saying, dont disturb the country let the young ones enjoy there time. MMD KUYABEBELE, THE WIND OF CHANGE HAS BLOWN.

  50. 4, I understand that at Chainama hospital, it is the other way round. The mad people do not see anything wrong with themselves, instead they see normal people as mad. I am sure that is what you mean.

  51. Sata’s fight is a fight by bembas who do not want to be ruled by other tribes. Just see the composition of the cabinet which sata drafted in 2006 if he won the elections. Sata was so sure of winning that the his supporters spilt the beans as they celebrated prematurely. There was a list for heads of parastatals, ministers, judges, the lot and believe you me, these are plunderers in waiting. But he underestimated the power of other tribes. Now he is using the tongas, fortunately tongas are not daft, they also want the presidency for themselves and believe they are using the bembas to get what they want. Another miscalcalculation by sata. You other tribes are just being used by vocal cunning bembas. Just observe their behaviour and comments, they do not see good in anybody else. Mukesa…

  52. Mukesa njeba. bembas know that tongas are a big tribe and a force to reckon with, and in the bemba strategy if they succeeded in duping the tongas it is a quick way of tilting the balance of elections in favour of sata, unlike in 2001, 2006, 2008.That is the essence of the PACT, two forceful tribes trying to outwit each other. It must be noted though that the majority of bembas are not bad but like many bloggers here, they can easily be duped into voting for sata. The principal architects of this strategy put sata there for his charisma to fool and pull the crowds, much like in 1991.

  53. # 13, 16, 18 & 21 Veteran: I find your arguments about the matter in question above logically constructed & quite convincing…hence I do agree with you.

  54. Is this the same Ngoma as related to RB’s relative whom he appointed as ambassador to Mozambique, Agnes Ngoma? Somebody shed more light please. But the bigger question I wopuld like to ask is: Does this mean all of our presidents, past and present, do not have access to the records of those they appoint: Was KK aware of Mr. Sata’s alleged criminal past? Was Chiluba aware of this? And what about Mwanawasa? All these ex-presidents named Sata to their cabinets and often in very important positions.

  55. Cont’d….Since two of them are still living, why don’t they come out and tell the nation what they knew, when they knew it and why they then acted in the manner they did? Otherwise, this is an exercise in futility since it is clear for all to see that the precedent has already been set that criminals in Zambia could be appointed to the highest levels of power in the land with no fear of retribution. Even Lupiya Bandito ought to know this. Heck, even his cabinet has some convicted criminals too!

  56. Ala ichishinka chilakalipa mune.Tell me why Father Bwalya,Augustine Mwewa, Simon Kabanda and ba Mpundu bene are PF cadres? Unfortunately, those who have formed “some” political party 96% dominated in leadership by our very own natives have done and keep doing so with recklessness and blatant abuse of the Bemba name.Fwebena lubemba we are tired of seeing our identity abused by outcasts from some satelite tribes.

  57. Katie Good you are a nuisance honestly… in this age you are still talking about tribes. Its one Zambia one Nation…. stop that tribal nonsense – people are fighting poverty, diseases, and want a better life not tribalism. Ukalya ubutonga nangu ubulenje… Start thinking straight.

  58. They have mischeviously called Mazoka’s party a tonga party, Mwanawasa a ifitundu President, Kaunda a Malawian, Chiluba a Zairean and RB a Ngoni President. When they need political opportunities they have tried to use the bemba native by planting hatred that respective regimes are calling us stinking, that they are persecuting those who have been found wanting because they are bembas.

  59. The bemba tribe has been abused and its time to tell off these masquarading power chasers that they are not bembas but abusers of our honorable identity. These priests all from our tribe and cadres rallying around these masquaraders are enemies of our bemba community. Our silence of tolerating this outright abuse manifest that we are losers. We have allowed ifinangwa to abuse and exploit our identity in their quest for power even when we know they are total moral and constitutional hazards merely entraping our people in infinity poverty and wishwash.

  60. Its time credible people were found to competitively pitch up at national level on issues than tribal groupings merely abusing the our honorable and socially responsible bemba name as Bembas.

  61. Ala fwebena lubemba twalitipwa mufya pa chipango

Ichishinka chilakalipa. I think those using our lubemba name have not only been injurious to us all but been very reckless in abusing the bemba tribe. Unconspiciously or blantantly we see Bishop Mpundu, Father Bwalya, father Mwewa and Ba Simon Kabanda telling all Zambians that we tribal we want only some from our Province in Plot one. With such open stigma how do will get the solidarity of the country?

  62. Its clear that fwebena lubemba tulifipuba sana….How come those who are hardcore tribalist among us have kept failing in identifying a person we can sell as bembas to the entire country as a credible national leader from the lubemba land? From time in memorial its either we are rallying around inchinangwa or umulwele who is unsellable to the country. Here we are again 18 month or so from elections still fooling ourselves with Sata a bisa born of Nuacusa in Mbeya for President. What if he grows cold on making oath before the Chief Justice over his forged degree and that plus an injunction against his criminal record holds?

  63. Why don’t we prop up leaders like Bwalya Ng’andu, Bwalya Chiti, Chekwe Puta, Felix Mutati or Alexander Chikwanda from lubemba nkonko instead of denting our tribe with a bisa regarded as our outcast in the sense of a Bemba caste? Always on the wrong side of history and opportunities.

Tu sapotafye ifinangwa in all election. Nga te Chama chakomboka, ni basata. But where to with our confusion and poverty.Mubuposa amabwe tamwaba ubusambaship but ubupinafye.Unless Ba Bishop Mpundu ebatukwele candidate, tapali oko tuleya nga nibasata for us.Twasebana pafula nefinangwa tu sponsor fwebena lubemba.

  64. # 71 Chenda Bwamba,

May be you have overstayed in the diaspora.KK, Chiluba, Mwanawasa and RB are on public record of declaring Sata that he is a misfit for Plot one. That is too diplomatic a statement designed to preserve his human feeling.Chiluba has gone further reminding Sata that he was President of this country and had access to records of all his appointments. He has warned Sata that he has a dossier on his.Let me tell you that this is just an iceberge you have not seen the worst yet about the dark side of Sata that cannot circumvent the constitution. But guess what, the PACT has a window of opportunity to redeem itself considering that its a snake with two heads. With an alarming fall of Sata, HH has the space to fill in unless hell falls on him too.Pride is the fall of man.

  65. Wasting time with Sata is at the peril of the PACT. Forewarning is fore-arming. Sata is in deep uncharted waters and despite his fantasy and ego to nowhere. I don’t see how in hell he will circumvent the constitution and reality with all tribulations his dream tied. Unless there is undeclared strategy of featuring his in-law Telesphore Mpundu, ex-Priest Frank Bwalya, Simon Kabanda or Mwewa as PF front runner next year, PF is heading for a poor and sad landing. Someone was condemning Given Lubinda and Ichilema not standing with the embattled convict, well how do defend someone who has not been sincere with you until fate has befallen him? If they defend what they don’t know, they risk going down with him politically. You defend a man of integrity that has a record of truth not a…

  66. You defend a man of integrity that has a record of truth not a scoundrel with multiple versions and inconsistencies in his ungrateful life.

  67. iwe chi colour ma tribalists ku USA may you all eat inswa and nothing else and your children also for ever

  68. Senior Citizen you are not even Zambian by now, we know you. When you come to VIP immigration you will be sent home

  69. Though i do not support Sata but who in his normal senses can say i was a fellow criminal with a person like Sata.Ba Ngoma ba puba sana.I have started questioning the degree fimofimo.Although its wonderful to obtain one but advisers to such chaps are questionable.

  70. Is it true that Sata will get Zambia into shape when he is president? He once cleaned Lusaka Spotless when he was governor. As long he gets the right people in, then i do not see any of this opportunistic “theft” accusation being shouted about. Infact little man (with not brians) plunged the whole hope of Zambia in his time.
Beside, Sata will have the hard working Tongas to keep him in shape.
On RB,has done anything bad yet apart from mis-advised political appointments which are further driving that country in position of absolute poverty.
PS: Where are the young politician in Zambia? Guys whats going on? I will form a party now and its gonna be purely online. How is that for an idea?

  71. MMD is really sinking and they will do anything to stop King Cobra! I wonder how a former governor cannot remember the case that his fellow committed and yet he can confirm that the crime was committed. This is very depressing by these so called so called freedom fighters. They have nothing to offer except lies and lies. Mr. Sata is not an issue, the issue is poverty being experienced by the masses and that what these veterans must be urging the government to address not Mr. Sata. Whether he committed whatever crime they claim, it will not help any poverty stricken Zambian. Please Mr. Ngoma just keep quiet as you have nothing constructive to offer the nation.

  72. Viva Sata!! Its SATA all the way. Have you ever heard of ROSI- Rupiah Out Sata In. Thats what I am talking about. Mmmmm….. Red card for MMD

  73. #71, 72 Understand that we are talking about the presidency now. Mr Sata was Gov., Minister and so on – that is fine. Now he wants to be president – game nayicinja nomba. The presidency is far removed from the position of Minister or Vice President. The best you can hope for is that Mr Sata was arrested for throwing stones at Welensky otherwise he will be vetted – period. And, please let’s not put across questions like “Why bring this up now?”. Such questions should come from Kulima Tower – we are smarter than this. Let’s explain to people on the street the significance of the presidency.

  74. Somebody educate me,
If Sata was convicted in 1960
    1) what Constitution was being used?
coz the federal constitution had so many criminal offences, e.g walking in the main roads of Rhodespark ( Cecil Rhodes park) was criminal for a black man (trespass)
    2) buying food from inside a shop was a criminal offence
they were many silly offences that were termed criminal.
Moreover the constitution we use now was drafted after independence . So let them find a better way to fight each other .
All these people were still Rhodesians ,
Before we know, these politicians will start say R.B is a foreigner (Zimbabwean) because he was born in the southern part of Rhodesia

  75. This is total rubbish!! This useless Ngoma is being used by the defunct MMD to discredit our Great Leader Sata. They are waisting their time whatever they say. SATA is our ultimate choice!!!!!!

SATA has never been a convict under the Zambian law!! Shame on u!!!!

  76. Movement for mad dogs is now full of Unipists. This Ngoma chap is a fool who just want a job. The question to him is, is this the first time Sata is going to stand for presidential elections? I think this man is insane. Where have you been all this time? Are you telling us that its okay for a person to be a minister if he has a criminal record than to be president? Mr Sata has been a minister even in your Unip why did you not object to his appointment? Stop fooling people mad dog.

  77. Mr Veteran fck you.you don’t have Zed at heart thats the lesson you out there in the states you coward.UNLIKE other Zambians who out there you just thick for yourself i doubt if you even send any money for your family back home.

#93 mumbulu- When KK was imprisoned in Kabompo, the charge was not of freedom fight, but of CRIMINAL. So why doesnt this Ngoma call KK a convicted criminal? As we approach 2011 we are likely to hear more bizzare accusations against opposition leaders from the MAD MUD DEGENARATES.

79 Chekwe, those are good points brother/sister. Your “.Here we are again 18 month or so from elections still fooling ourselves with Sata a bisa born of Nuacusa in Mbeya for President. What if he grows cold on making oath before the Chief Justice over his forged degree and that plus an injunction against his criminal record holds? ” has been rightly put up.

The non-Bemba by tribe, ex-Mukobeko-Maximum-Security-Prison-convict, undereducated PF self-appointed leader MC Sata is a danger to Zambia.
