  1. First and foremost, once again MHSRIP to the departed MP for Chilubi. We pray that God will continue comforting the family. Secondly hope the electorate will vote wisely.

  2. African dictators can be some of the richest people in the world and leading a country filled with the poorest. They can kill and starve their people with impunity while lining their own pockets. They treat the land and lives of millions as their own personal playgrounds, making people work to increase the fortune of their leaders……..

  3. We shall see that campaigns in Northern Province will be violent – free but those in southern and western provinces will be violent as usual.

  4. Zambia should suspend holding these parliamentary elections because the remaining term is well over more than half – 1 year 7 months remaining. The cost of these elections will save millions of Kwacha . The money saved can be channeled towards needy areas of the nation. The provincial minister and permanent secretary can administer the constituency for the remaining period. If Zambia is serious with prudent ways of managing its scarce financial resources, this is one way to proceed.

  5. We have our people on the ground and all indicator show that the people of chilubi are tired and want change. We thank you and expect peaceful voting

  6. Whilst anxious to test the alleged inroads made in the PF stronghold of Northern Province I make an appeal to the UPND to stay out of this by election

  7. My view? i dont see the neccessity of having an election now, and then having another within a year and a half.
We did well to introduce the running mate for the President to avoid having another election when the President dies. I feel that we should have a law that allows the party represented to choose, within their ranks, someone to finish the term of office. No involvement of the General public, we save money and we also avoid conflicts, a sad fact of our by-election.
It is a special case for independent MPS, but surely we can and ought to find a way of preventing by-elections.

  8. Recap of LAST BYE- ELECTIONS ( Luapula and Central provinces)
