Share

Police in Chingola have warned and cautioned a construction worker at SPAX Garage for seditious practices. Chuma Mushinta 31 of house number 75 Kwacha road in Chingola works for Spax Garage which belongs to Kabaso Mulenga popularly known as SPAX who is facing murder charges.

Copperbelt Police Commissioner, Charity Katanga said that Mushinta was warned and cautioned yesterday. Ms. Katanga told ZNBC News in a statement that Police also retrieved 13 out the 25 t-shirts from Jerabos, which were printed by Mushinta.

She said this follows information that some JERABOS , belonging to SPAX had teamed up and were planning to protest against the apprehension of SPAX.

Ms. Katanga explained that they wanted to air their displeasure against Government on Saturday yesterday when SPAX was scheduled to be brought to Chingola by Police.

Ms. Katanga said Mushinta allegedly received instructions from SPAX workers believed to be currently in LUSAKA.

She has since warned that those who want to protest will be arrested.

  1. Thank you ba zp.please keep arresting these criminals. We are cleaning Zambia. Just to break the ice, I know all of you are hearing the rumours that some crazy woman called Chrisha frost mentioned my name. I would categorically like to state that I don’t know her. Many people know me and take the joy in shouting my name. Chances are she has see me in kafue with my crazy friends and now wants to claim she knows me. Fake news. Kz

  3. Look at these morons arresting everyone but the gassing suspects even T-shirts are being confiscated…tell people why you have held that man. The Police has been reduced to a useless security guard firm due to interference by the corrupt politicians like Stephen K former Katondo Street Forex Dealer now Minister of Home Affairs…what a joke!!

  4. Protests and demonstrations are an important part of a democracy, provided they remain peaceful. It’s not necessary to arrest a person for “warn and caution” if they have not committed a crime. Some people will even think twice and abort their antagonistic intentions without anyone’s say. Give a person a chance to self-correct.

  5. PF trying to douse the fires created by them standing and watching allegations of gassing in hoping the gassing hoax gets pinned on UPND.

The gassing was a hoax , no one died from the so called gassing, and no one got sick to prove gassing

  6. Is that the appropriate charge, sedition? I’m merely relying on this report. I hope the police hv more information thsn has been disclosed here. It’s just that our universities are underfunded. The emergence of Jarebos on the Copperbelt would make a good social science research topic.

  7. Kaizer you have now changed you are now calling your cadres on the cooper belt the Jerabos criminals i remember that scripture which says if the devil can cast out demons then how can his kingdom stand and PF are doing just that casting their own demons out this is the end of PF am seeing more fights in PF and more divisions those who are involved in gassing will be flashed out what about those involved in tribalism will also be flashed out and what about the Luapula United lets wait for PF conversion conference and you will see cat and dog fight in PF.

  8. Ban the word Jerabo. It has turned into a local term for militia and that’s exactly what these CB gangs have evolved into, with the blessings of the PF who have drawn them into the corridors of power.

Now their maker is struggling to dismantle them having relegated the police to mere spectators.

    Frankenstein at play.

  9. I hope that it will not be a case of taking the culprit to court and then withhold vital evidence and then acquit or nolle prose qui as happened in a recent high profile corruption case.
