The Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD) has observed that the failure by successive MMD administrations to manage national resources and tolerance for endemic corruption has greatly cost Zambia’s dignity and respect.
ADD president, Charles Milupi said the continued over dependency on donor funds and failure to manage public funds in a prudent manner by successive MMD governments has taken away the nation’s pride and dignity because Zambia is ever begging.
Mr. Milupi it was wrong for President Rupiah Banda to castigate the donor community who in the last few years the MMD has been in power have provided aid and helped in the implementation of various programs across the country.
He said President Banda should simply heed the donor community’s call for accountability in the utilization of their funds because they still remain a significant partner.
The ADD leader noted that donors contribute a significant percentage towards the country’s national budget hence they have the right to demand for accountability.
Mr Milupi who is former parliamentary public accounts committee chairperson said the uproar by the republican President and the government in general over the calls for accountability from the donor community is because the MMD government has not been able to appreciate the Auditor General’s reports.
Mr. Milupi said there is need for government to begin to address the various issues highlighted in the Auditor General’s reports to uphold transparency.

Hmmmm………chaba! Thats more like opposition, not daily castigating your fellow opposition parties like you are the smartest among them yet its the opposite:)>-:)>-
Checks and balances from the opposition leader…….We need to sort out MMD…I do not speak a politician becouse I am not one, but kind words of a citizen crying for my beloved country Zambia..My only Zambia….RB should be given chance to rest and account for the period he governed
Milupi is right. MMD – Movement for Manic Delusions
Dead Aid, for as long as we go begging to these people we will never be independent, I just do not know how we got to where we are, wait a minute, we wanted to liberate Southern Africa, the countries are liberated, but where are we as a country, one of the most impoverished in the world, Congratulations to Ba former President Kaunda. I do not want any young person here praising him for the good things he did because I have lived good and bad life under his rule.
We need people to be our leaders,, those who know that Zambia has enough resources to look after its people; than these blind leaders who would want to forever be beggars, yet Zambia is such a rich nation than those people who dont have a clue to how to start new avenues of development;; all what they do is come into power and start to sell what they have found
Mr Milupi, where have you been? How I wish you came on the political scene earlier than this.
For the first time my eyes are open to the truth… Zambia has been hijacked by the MMD. They are always finding fault at everyone who stands up against them. The recalling of all staff at Washington Embassy is nothing but scare tactics! Im behind the PACT and thank you Mr. Sata and Mr. Hichilema for according me the opportunity to open my once-blind-eyes filled by MMD propaganda and lies! Do you know how many people has been affected by MMD decision to have the whole staff replaced? These are politics of mediocre and backwards! As I move on to settle in South Africa, I am committing my every inch of my political career to the PACT and I have embraced its ideas and manifesto.
Interesting comments these by Mr Milupi, but what is new about them? We all know what the problem is and what the problems are. Politicians can be like some football teams or errant football administration officials….full of hype and semi-hot air until the truth exposes them. Then they reluctantly concede even with the writing on the wall!!! By then it is too late.
Iwe #5 iyo picture (gravatar) tailemoneka bwino sure. 😮 Can’t you get something better? It looks like ulusele wamona. :)>-
Kwisusu muyoyange tate.Very good words again from Mr CM.I can only wish you the very best of lucky so that one day you will on the thrown of plot one.
GOD bless ZAMBIA for a better loving president.Amen
Hahahahahaaha whats up with the MMD CHIEF BOOTLICKER? Had washington staff not moved, youe eyes would still be shut?
The righteous is concerned for the rights of the poor; the wicked does not understand such concern. Prov. 29:7
He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, but he who is gracious to the needy honors Him. Prov. 14:31
God isn’t a conservative; he’s a revolutionary. He not only takes the side of the poor; he puts himself in their place. In the very alarming parable of the sheep and the goats he speaks of salvation as depending on how we treat the poorest and the most afflicted.
Ezekiel 34:2 says – “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds: Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?”
this is what this country is going thru. instead of the shepherds feeding the poor it is the poor feeding our leaders…shame on you…you have scartered the sheeps, you have divided the sheep…what a mess you are…..Giod FORBID!!
