  1. Pic no 9 is that what you call working? even soulman in pic 7 looks like he is trying compared to those cheps!

  2. Bricklayer Luapula province Permanent Secretary Jazzman Chikwakwa working with a necktie where on earth? Even the structure being worked on looks ugly. Umutomboko Traditional Ceremony Committee should put up a better permanent arena. Every year putting up a ramshackle? For how long?

  3. Pics #5 & 6, Overcrowding and disorganised queing appeares to be a way of life in our country. Surely administering immunisation for measles could easily be systematically decentralised in various centres like schools, welfare centres civic centres, clinics, etc…to spare our mothers the agony of queing for hours and hours on end. Does it require degree holders to do this or is it just common sense that is lacking?
    # 14, LT Is it paiter or painter? Do you have proof readers at LT?

  4. Pic # 16,
Well, it depends on their terms of reference in their inspection of the ‘classroom’, but if it was about health and safety those inspectors must have condemned that structure, We are in the 21st century!

  5. LT – please get an experienced editor. Photo no.1 – Alexander Grey Zulu served as UNIP Secretary General (equivalent to state vice-president at the time) and Secretary of State for Defence and Security (which was the de-factor 4th position in government at the time). He was never prime minister, which was a position reserved for persons from Southern and Western Provinces under terms of the 1973 Choma Declaration. After 1973, the prime ministers were Mainza Chona, Elijah Mudenda, Daniel Lisulo, Kebby Musokotwane and Malimba Masheke. The vice-presidents from independece up to 1991 were Rueben Kamanga, Simon Kapwepwe, Mainza Chona, post abolished in 1972 and replaced by UNIP SG who were Mainza Chona, Grey Zulu, Humphrey Mulemba

  6. Pic 19 you can even see the minister of death salivating and rubbing his hands over that cheque! The way Zambians love donations

  7. (1) Traditional ceremonies deserve better structures than schools.
(2)”Health” workers don’t need gloves, clean tables or setting good hygiene examples.
(3)No security risks when you mix people, planes and vehicles on tarmac. Those who bombed uganda took advantage of such security lapses.
Conclusion:So many african misfortunes are self inflicted.

  8. it is good to see the old unip party stalwarts in good health.Simple living ,although you may be a apamabwa can do that.Chilu with all his rolex watches and gold chains has not aged as good.Let us learn some lessons from this folks ,we may have the resources to eat t-bone steak but doing so may not be in our own interest.let us acquire humility together with our riches.arrogance does not have to go hand in hand with ill-gotten gains

  9. In addition to my comment, on no.10 above, I should have added Nalumino Mundia as one of the prime ministers Zambia had.

  10. hahahahha ba Muleya na masuti, i am just wondering these familiarization tours by the western province perm sec. people are fed up, they need action now. anyway, boring photos for me.
