Expelled Kafulafuta Member of parliament George Mpombo

Expelled Movement for Multiparty Democracy Kafulafuta Member of Parliament George Mpombo has described president Rupiah Banda’s address to parliament yesterday as flat.

Mr Mpombo said he found the president’s speech to parliament yesterday more of a political campaign than issue based.

He said it is the first time in Zambia’s history that the president has chosen to use his official opening speech to parliament to campaign.

He says such is a departure from the true tradition of addressing the people of Zambia through parliament.

Meanwhile Mr Mpombo said much as the uniform pricing of fuel announced by the president in his speech is commendabl but he failed to outline how the government is going to do it.

Mr Mpombo noted that the president has not announced whether the fuel stabilization fund will be set up.

He said president Banda was supposed to explain how the government was going to address costs encountered in the transportation of fuel.

  1. Commander of the Zambian Armed Forces and Head of State His Excellence President Rupiah Bwezani Banda has sagaciously articulated national interest issues with simplicity and precision. Embattled Mpombo who thrives on reciting the Oxford dictionary has failed to decipher anything from the presidential speech because of his natural intellectual deficiencies.

  2. Mpombo has said the truth ! our current president has no good planz for this nation hence the need for the people of Zambia to VOTE for PF next year.

  3. Senior Citizen #2 and #3 dont be so shallow minded ! can you tell us just one project which yo so called president has initiated ever since he rigged elections in 2008 ! ths yo bwezani man is a total failure ! However, im glad because yuo will VOTE for PF, you,r jus Written thez nonsenses for the sake of feeding you,r family .

  4. Post Berlin conference we see that ethnicity, a pedigree of the British imperialist pernicious policy of divide and exploit, has become a virulent scourge that has facilitated a widespread subversion of the democratic ethos in national states Zambian opposition included. I have laughed at myopic Michael Sata’s difficult reaction to ambitious MMD national developments under the able leadership of RB. Saffice to say the flagrant display of ethnic chauvinism by the PF Pharisees and their Sata in their bid to hideously usurp power and usher in mayhem the Rwanda way for their selfish ends is a myth in the polity.

  5. It is wishful thinking to dedicate an American outcast Paul Duff and Telesphore Mpundu junior to Western province on a genocide project in hope that the patriotic and smart people of Barotse land could turn to self extrajudicial killings in polity on behalf of the Mpundu-Sata supremacies. Maybe their project may materialise in Mpika than on the barotse land soil.

  6. We shall forgive PF cadres for now as they are in panic mood. President Rupiah Banda has shocked them by performing way beyond expectations. He has delivered 2016 schools, he has built and upgraded hospitals, roads, railways, bumper harvest, increased FDI, single digit inflation and a 6.6% projected GDP growth rate.

They are in panic mood and are shocked. They were hoping they would say “I told you so” but to no avail. They are seeing their chances of having Mr. Flip flop 90 day economic miracle formula “abracadabra” more money in your pockets Mr. Sata take presidency slipping.

President Rupiah Banda has achieved a lot in this little time and they are shocked. He has also articulated further economic plans. We shall give the opposition time to digest. For now we shall forgive…

  7. The Sata circus has continued moving further away into irrelevancy from dignity, thin hope, and the democratic culture to instituting selves into a suffocating circus dictatorship.

  8. Mr Mpombo, the President needed to lay out his vision, other players in govt such as policy makers like Ministers, need to formulate policies in line with their leader’s vision, the technocrats like Permanent Secretaries, have a duty to translate the policies into workable plans.I wish someone can advise you to stop commenting on every issue in the meantime so that you can regain some public respect.Remember the saying that “even a fool who keeps quiet can be mistaken for a wiseman”?It’s actually a bible verse.

  9. I think some of you are government workers in foregn missions. cause the way you guys talk is like you check if your child had breafast before you go to your P.Cs. F.U.C.K. YOU ALL.

  10. Mr. Capitalist – 3 E’s steering economic growth whatever you call yourself #9 grow up in yo thinking ! yo comments are more less of a grade 5 ! just admit that you,r bwezani has failed.

  11. TUGILIGILI BOYS # 14 i understand yo pain bt lets nt insult thez mmd fuz, their heads are full of nothing bt just nonsenses ! cum next year chapps like Senior Citizen will vote for PF.

  12. zambians let help mpombo he has changed from been good to………..it is time we put our heads together help people like mr mpombo and others we know better

  13. Mr. Mpombo’s observations are very valid, any sane Zambian who does not suffer from idiocy can clearly see that RB is taking us nowhere. Zambia is a very rich country and we can do alot with a serious president. If RB can claim so much achievement under his corrupt government it simply means that with a serious president alot can be done. Just look at the level of lunacy going on in government, not to mention the so called “independent judiciary” run by state house, take time and listen to ZNBC and the Times of Zambia, this country can make a good comedy,a damn good one…

  14. 19, Just go back to jail where you belong, you cannot see anything good in a normal society outside those barbed wires.
As for mpombo, please spare us the ****, do you think that in a presidential speech there is time to explain details of the president’s vision? Fortunately you will never be president, otherwise you would make us listen to 48hour-long speeches outlining how to join the bricks with mortar.
FQM quoted mpombo only for comedy, unfortunately mpombo never comes out funny but stupid and irritating.

  15. 20. you are the chaps who suffer from idiocy that I am referring to, surely can you describe Zambia a normal society nonsense!

  16. H.H. Sata #20, is you,r brain okay? take yo brain for scanning , chaps like u are sapoz 2b admitted @chinama. katele kalumba #19 i like you,r reasoning !!

  17. H.H. Sata #20, is you,r brain okay? take yo brain for scanning , chaps like u are sapoz 2b admitted @chinama. katele kalumba #19 i like you,r reasoning !! …

  18. Haaa Ba Mupombo this is not original you have borrowed this from the Late Migeri Ntondo Chindoloma who said exactly the same thing about FTJ the difference is RB has delivered and 2011 brace yourselves for another MMD resounding victory

  19. Fine. “RBs speech was flat….,” I am not an RB supporter, but lets hear yours then, so that we can also tell you what we think of it. Enough of looney tunes the country needs serious and credible future leaders.

  20. KA #3 ati sir G, Only a premature mind like yours can concur with mpombo,i just hope you are not another shabby fella like him.

  21. Parochial mentality Mr. George ‘Antelope’ Mpombo—Mpombo’s speech will be full of recited lines from the Lexcone viz —wagwash, bambooz—–political earthquake——-political catastrophe of unprecedented proportions—–baffuns——–. Like Shakafuswa why hold on to MMD when you know the party is finished.? Shakafuswa, Mpombo, Magande you have dug yourself a ‘Political Grave’ Political Grave am borrowing from Mpombo’s Language

  22. Sooner rather than later Mpombo will go back to tolopikos he came with at cabinet office when LPM resurrected him from POLITICAL GRAVE OF UNPRECEDENTED PROPORTIONS. the man could not grow crops to help him by a mocacin to cover his scattered toes. One wonders whether he could even afford toothpaste because one needed a Gas Mask to draw near him when attending to an alien like mamal. As MP you bounce a cheque—Mwanawasa should be turning at embassy park

  23. Chi Mpompo ifimwenfu ububi. You thought by talking too much you would make yourself popular. Why now are favourite of the POST? mmembe rediculed you at every opportune time but now you are his darling. What paradigm shift? My man learn to talk spareringly eg in Chapters rather than verses. you have finished all the vocabulary against RB. Leave some for 2011

  24. RB should not cheat Zambians. Does Zambia mine oil? is our defanct Indeni able to supply refined products thru out the year? does RB know that our Oil marketing companies (eg Total, Kobil) import fuel from countries such SA and TZ at various prices to avoid shortages? Do we have money to subsdise fuel most of which is consumed by mining companies who externalise profits?

Why are we zambians easily fuuled? is it because of ignorance? RB was just companing….I pity you Mr banda for taking advantage of zambians!!!! What people expect is you to anounce that you have reduced farming inputs which directly and positively affects my poor grand father in Choma.

  25. 16 Sir G, did you say come 2011 Senior Citizen will vote for PF or for Pact? It’s Pact now, 90 minutes later it’s PF, another 90 minutes it’s Pact. Flip flop all the time, how do you hope to win an election when you don’t even know what you want? At least HH has admitted that he cannot go it alone. Can you as PF?
You guys are confused, please clarify for all of us just what you stand for, not just hallucinating all the time. 2011 is drawing near in case you think that time will stand still for you.
