PF wins Mphomwa ward in Malambo constituency

Patriotic Front candidate for Mphomwa ward elections in Malambo constituency of Mambwe district has scooped the ward councilor position.

Returning Officer for Mphomwa ward, Oscar Musonda, declared PF candidate, Elisa Sakala, as the duly elected member of the Mambwe town council for Mphomwa ward.

Ms. Sakala got 697 valid votes, beating her closest rival Munkanta Mwila of opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) who garnered 469 valid votes.

So far, Mphomwa is the only ward in Malambo constituency where counting of votes has been completed in all polling stations.

The total votes cast in Mphomwa ward were 1,206, out which 40 ballot papers were rejected.

People will start Judging the character of UPND supporters from day one if they win so this is not time for insults….if you really want to make Zambia a better place this is now time for working hard….elections are over….no more hatred…it’s time for Zambia to heal and every Zambian should work with which government whether PF or UPND….but like always you will see the majority of PF losing candidates join UPND…so in short you will be dealing with the same Bandits

  6. There’s no need to insult. The guy is out of the door. The ballot’s been working in Zambia, so far. He can’t resist the will of the people. The people are just fed up!
