Fellow Black Zambians, rise to the table pls, we need to change the narrative of funders always being western or chinese, sometimes Indian. You can’t jst be receiving, receiving, u need to give at some point too.

Here is my story: when I left my job in a very big NGO pa Zed & moved to SA. Got here and started looking for a similar job, in similar environment. Only to find that nobody here cud even pronounce the letters “NGO”. The economy was independent private sector & business oriented. I had to learn this lesson, the hard way. Donations, NGO & receiving are not part of some economies but instead they produce their own. Hence they are developed. I rest my case
