American based boxer Hastings Bwalya arrives in the country on Monday.
His trainer Ibn Cason confirmed early on Sunday from the boxers Las Vegas based that they will land in Lusaka on Monday morning.
Bwalya will be making his professional debut on home soil this Saturday since turning professional in October 2009.
The unbeaten USA-based welterweight boxer will fight Silas Mandeya of Zimbabwe in an eight-round non-title fight.
Unbeaten in six bouts, Bwalya will fight Mandeya on the under card of Esther Phiri’s world title fight against Lely Luz Florez of Colombia at Mulungushi International Conference Centre.
Chume tuleya. I watched Hastings beat a Justin Johnson of the USA and was overly impressed. Hastings is a real thing and high class. He sparred with Floyd “Money” Mayweather before and that says heaps on him. Probably the best from Zambia after Lottie “Guduzani” Mwale. Wekakula umutwe. All the best Hastings and Lesa mukulu akupale. Kalebalika.
chilopole tuleya walya mwaiche….jab jab!one two one two! shuffle shuffle! we are all behind you.
Kalebalika! We together!!

Wilalumbula Lesa mu fyabupuba! Which god would bless a fighter? Anyhow, there exists ‘many gods’, but the creator, the most high in the universe, is a loving God and hates violence of any kind (including violent games like fi boxin), so I’m sure he is not the one you’re refering to.
Chi Hastings na chi Esther mukaleke ifya bupuba. You mean there is nothing else you can do?
# 4 But Anti-Politics you are very violent!! How can you call mukamunobe ati “Chi Ester”, nga ni Hastings ena akakuponona.
Dear bloggers, pls blog sensibly! Hastings ‘Sting’ Bwalya is the future world champion Zambians MUST look out for. The boy is disciplined and hard working. I hope the Zimbabwan boxer is well prepared coz Sting has no match in Africa; besides the Americans have witness his prowess. TKO youngman, bravo.
Welcome home. Do your thing & remember this is a land where PHD is rife. Dont talk about administration, they will tear you apart. If you can, just donate to charity. We never appreciate our own.
#4 George Foreman has been World heavyweight boxing Champion two times and he is a Reverend. I often watch boxers enter a ring and pray to their God before going on to win. I’m sure God must have helped them in that victory. God hates violent games like boxing? Where is it written? And which games does God like? An Israeli called David slew a giant guy called Goliath and God was on David’s side… and he hates violence? Yaba!
This will be a wonderful fight not to miss for all boxing lovers. I hope the organisers will limit the flow booz at the tournment. As for Easter I wish her all the best and will definatly be there to give support.
# 4, Anti-Politics:
You are the same Christians who have committed so many atrocities in the name of GOD!! So which God spoke to “Catholic” Hitler to kill six million Jews, Gipsies, Gays, etc?!
Read the Bible with your eyes open Sir. That way it will not come as a shock to to find out how violent the God of the Bible is!! Your Christian “God” sunctions, supports, and at times, carries out violent acts (revenge) against His enemies. So how can be squimish about boxing?! STOP LYING PLEASE!!!!!

Psalms 11:5. ” ……anyone loving violence his (God) soul certainly hates”. The battles that David and other old servants of God fought were in actuality, God’s wars aganist the enemies of his chosen nation of Israel (just as he will soon be at war to fight for his morden-day servants). God had promised that through Abraham (later the Isralites), the nations will be blessed. So anything coming on the way of this promise (by attacking the Isralites) was surely deserving harsh judgement of destruction.
That Reverend of yours is one those ‘false prophets’ which were foretold by Christ himeslf. Also, those wrestlers who pray b4 entering the ring may have their own ‘gods’ rather than the loving creator.
# 8 You are right ,Boxing is just a sport like any other,it is not a sin.Comrades Insults should not be allowed in here,If you have nothing to contribute you better stay away.

I totally agree with you, Christians have comited myriads of crimes. The problem with todays so called Christians is that they have abondoned the very basic teachings of christ that include unconditional love among themselves. So I alwys distinguish between ‘True christians’ and ‘Christians by religion’. I’m sure you would rightly gues in which of the two categories Adolf and alot of clergy today belong.
The creator (I use this name to distinguish him from so many ‘gods’ that exists) is not violent but he hates it. He sunctioned those fights you are talking about so as to preserve alive his nation of Israel through whom his promis to Abraham was to be fufilled. If you think I’m wrong and u have a better explanation, feel free to help me – yes using the Bible
#4 Any zambian brought up in a proper zambian way will bless a zambian. That’s all I was doing and I just blessed him without holding back. I definintely was referring to the Almighty God, creator of heaven and earth who declared let there be and it came into being, He is one and to Him there is no other, ubufumu bwakwe bwamuyayaya.
“Hastings Bwalya Lands on Monday”,this is the headline not # 4 player-hater talking sh!t about God. Why are so many PLAYER HATERS IN ZAMBIA? # 4 go worship your gods President Banda or SATA than talking about GOD when yourself is hating the innocent boxers. Go Hastings we will celebrate in Vegas when you return back.
the only hope in zambian sport not just boxing. we had lottie mwale, samuel matete and now hastings gives hope
Anti-politics just shut the f$$k up. Lesa ewabapele intalanta lyakuposa amakofi yakapatulula. Ilyo kabili ichipingo chaisula nalesa wabufuba. Lesa wine ewaipeye ebena isreal elyo ewaonawile na Sodom na gomora.
