United Party for National Development (UPND) Namwala Member of Parliament Robbie Chizhyuka has said Patriotic Front (PF) leader Michael Sata could divide Zambia if he is elected president in this year’s elections.
Major Chizhyuka has advised Zambians to support President Rupiah Banda for the country’s unity and stability is to be maintained.
He said in Lusaka at the weekend that he was glad he had been vindicated on the views he had been sharing with the Zambian people on the pact between the PF and UPND.
Maj Chizhyuka said Mr Sata could divide the country if he was elected as president because he had allegedly shown dislike for some provinces.
“There is no pact in Zambia, the pact died the day it was formed. It is dead because it was a selfish agreement made without the interests of the people.
“We make Mr Sata president then we have instability. Can Mr Sata espouse unity? He will divide the nation, that is why he doesn’t campaign in Western and North-Western provinces,” he said.
He also said UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema did not stand a chance of winning this year’s elections.
Major Chizhyuka said Mr Hichilema should heed advice to work with the MMD for him to remain relevant to Zambia’s politics.

And UPND Copperbelt provincial chairperson Elisha Matambo has urged the electorate not to vote for PF councillors and MPs because they had allegedly failed to deliver on their election promises.
Mr Matambo said during a UPND Kitwe District conference held at Buchi Hall at the weekend that the PF should not be voted for as doing so would be to retard development in the country.
He said there was enough evidence in the manner PF had worked, especially on the Copperbelt where the party’s MPs and councillors had failed to deliver, while its party president Mr Sata had served in various governments, but had not made any significant contribution to the country.
Mr Matambo said the electorate were looking for hope and that was why there was need for UPND to carry out door-to-door campaigns for its leader, Mr Hichilema.
[ Times of Zambia ]
Nothing to talk about.
I strongly agree with the Major.with due respect Mr Sata & his bunch of supporters are hardcore tribalist worthy a pinch of salt.its impressing tat many zambians ar now seeing the agree faces of certain grouping. These hopeless monkeys in a maize field wil sooner become irelevant in zambia let alone empty tins ful of noise.
Chizyuka Matambo Chi Colour
Fact is : Sata will never rule Zambia. Nangula mutuke insele, fact is fact and not fiction.
Major Chizyuka from the time the UPND/PF PACT was formed, he categorically stated that it was not going to stand and work out as it was founded on baseless foundation. As usual he was heavily criticized.NO: 3 STOP INSULTS.
this Sata thing should never be allowed to rule Zambia…otherwise he ll be like Idi Amim..eating human…if you critically analyse Sata the Serpent you will realise that he is not normal…kwaliba president uwakwata emeno ya black.
Look at Sata’s Teeth.exact resemblance of those of the cobra.
‘UPND Copperbelt provincial chairperson Elisha Matambo has urged the electorate not to vote for PF councillors and MPs’.
And ba Rasheed Lubinda is saying the pact is intact.
On “Mr Matambo said the electorate were looking for hope and that was why there was need for UPND to carry out door-to-door campaigns for its leader, Mr Hichilema Hakainde aka Sunny” this is great move aimed at telling the electorate that the UPND Team is now in overdrive campaigning to win this years presidential and general elections in majority numbers than any other party.
I hope Dr Clive Chirwa’s coming to Zed is seriousness on his part about his input to UPND’s quest to Administer Zambians affairs.
All the best to the UPND Team and please start working extremely hard with or without PF starting from March 1, 2011 to strive to win the 2011 presidential elections as well as other seats in the general elections part.

Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God…
Just Sheeeeee, wait. Let the election date be announced, we will see who is who. VIVA PACT.
WHICH PACT??
UPND/PF are jokers and not serious.
This is February 2011 and we are having ERECTIONS at the worst case scenario October 31.
Now-FEB-MAR-APR-MAY-JUN-JULY-AUG-SEP-OCT =9 Months (worst case scenario)
They are still waffling about harmonising this and that.History will repeat itself because of selfishness and lack of foresight in the UPND/PF camp.I am not an MMD supporter because i feel MMD has not done enough to develop this country and they seem to be content with their governance style. But i would rather we continue with them other than vote in people with no clear agenda for Zambia LIKE WHAT HAPPENED WHEN WE VOTED IN MMD in 1991.
My choices: 1. Note to vote OR 2.Vote for MMD
Either way, i can see MMD carrying the day and ZAMBIA will remain as is.
I pity esp the POOR!
The playing ground is leveled,Us voters knows the best for our country at a right time. we think big.
Well spoken Major (rtd) you spoke the truth from day one and HH to his peril discarded what you were telling him….
Chizyuka You are a turn coat what next are you going to accuse HH as well really you are areal loyal dog
hh will never rule Zambia. We were told that upnd should only be lead by a tonga and to prove that, Sikota Wina, Patrick Chisanga, late Henry Mtonga, Sichinga were hounded out of the party and these men held top positions. PF has lozi and tonga mps, does upnd have a bemba speaking mp? Even the top unpd pipo none of them is bemba. I will only vote for upnd if Clive Chirwa takes over as upnd president.
Has Mr Chizhyuka himself brought any unity in Namwala? stop demonizing Sata you job seekers.
NO. IT IS CHIZYUKA WHO CAN DIVIDE ZAMBIA. CHIZYUKA’S AND MUMBI’S COMMENTS ON SATA IS LIKE PREACHING IN A GRAVE YARD WHERE NOBODY WILL LISTEN TO WHATEVER YOU SAY! THEY BOTH BELONG TO THE WRONG HISTORY OF ZAMBIA.
I respect the major’s opinion but if he thinks the pact won’t work, then why at the same time advocate that UPND join hands with MMD? It is clear that there are more people supporting the pact, rightly or wrongly, than those he claims to represent. So, why does he think we should support the minority? Abash Lumpens and Lumpenism. Mazoka knew this man better ….
Interestingly, 2011 is here, I am keen to see where this man will be after the general elections. I can only assure fellow bloggers that he may be in parliament, but certainly not representing Namwala Constituency or indeed any other consitutency. Might be there as RB’s nominee. Let us wait and see.
Hate the Man or Love him. Mr. Sata whether he ascends to the presidency of the Country or not. We need to give him respect. He has earned it the last 10 years fighting for workers and betterment of Zambians. Without people like Sata and to some extent HH Zambia will be “sold” to Chinese. Collectively Zambians docile. A Chinese Flag by now could have been planted at state house by now. Look at all major road construction, clinics, hospitals etc contracts going to Chinese companies.Prime Land being given out at Chambeshi huge tracks of it to chinese to build China town. The Govt., protects foreign investors more than Zambians. We can be shot at, fired, mistreated etc but MMD run Govt., will turn a blind eye. we should encourage Mr. sata to continue fighting for Zambians. Viva UPND ViVA…
Chizyuka is a rascal, a fighter one who can not reason, a bully, right from his child wood, used to cause riots at school, find out the history of St. Marks in Mapanza his former school you will know him better, once expelled from school. Dismissed in the army, threatens to shoot or beat his relatives. He is the last person to comment on Sata. He is full of hatred. Let credible people talk about real issues not this rascal.
Now 20 , thereis a veri serious issue here, guyz, pipo who leave in glass houses shud not throw stones,. now according to yuour CHIZYUKA was dismissed rom the ARMY , Expeeled from school , the threats to relatives, you and he goes telling pipo that country divide in which way am not a PF support , the major could well had he resigned from the UPND to test his popularity in namwala, but guy knows he cant win and will not be adopted by upnd hence to praise MR BANDA and mmd which he denounced ealier, neither will the mmd pick him coz there so many members o mmd in namwala who had been with the all this long now for someone just hijack them , and push them aside, i dont think even mulongoti will except that coz he is a sell-out period check his background starting with school, pure rascal….
