UPND disappoints PF

1. UPND is not a serious party why can´t they disciplines this chap called Kalusa.

2. The biggets problem is,the two are just too different and if the only reason why this pact exists is to remove RB,then there is everything wrong with this pact. Please UPND, support Sata for presidency and forget this PACT,how many of them have failed. PF can form the next Government but i Know that UPND is the only solution to our misery but we dont have wot it takes to beat MMD this year and the PACT is a means to our end.

3. how come such tuma junior chaps like Joe Kalusa are allowed to make such far reaching comments and they are not disciplined for that. Doesn’t the party have a designated spokesperson?

    According to PF’s Given Lubinda, Wynter KABIMBA is supposed to tell the Nation the PACT 2011 presidential candidate, HH, but he is sitting on this information.

    As for Joe KALUSA and UPND spokesperson charles KAKOMA’s difference in media statements, I hope the mighty UPND will force PF to convene a PACT JNC meeting so that an MP for Mporokoso candidate can be picked…

25. UPND spokesperson Charles Kakoma has differed with his national youth chairperson Joe Kalusa on the party’s position regarding its support for the Patriotic Front (PF) adopted candidate ahead of the Mporokoso by-elections.

    Kakoma said it was not true that UPND has resolved not to support the proposed candidate Maynard Misapa.

    “If Mr. Kalusa was quoted correctly, that is not the party’s position, we have said that the UPND will not field a candidate in Mporokoso, but we will rally behind our Pact partners PF,” he said.

26. Sure guys ..why should PF and UPND argue always? The only thing is that a smaller party which is UPND has to accept the vice if they refuse then there is no Pact. Thats how it works world over. A smaller party takes the vice.

    This is what also happened in the UPND-FDD-UNIP Pact, UPND took the presidency coz it was the lagest of the three parties.

    So there is no pact if UPND cant accept the viceship period.

UPND is a regional and tribal party which was founded and has failed to function outside tribal lines. No one has ever denied the fact that these two need each other, but one seems to focus more on what they will benefit from the other one, rather than benefiting the people of Zambia. Kalusa is not a leader, but a Sarah Palin of the UPND Party. As long as HH fails to control these brainless and passionless youth leaders, UPND will always remain wallowing in the shallow waters of mediocrity. Sata is not there to appease HH or Kalusa or Banda or whoever people may want to put across. His agenda is well known to those who can see, Zambian people first. The rest later.
