President Hakainde Hichilema has encouraged Zambians to take health walks as a way to build mental and physical health.
President Hichilema, who flagged off and participated in the 5 .8 kilometre health walk, described as a wonderful and good activity for one’s wellbeing.
He says for the nation to be productive, a healthy human resource is cardinal.
President Hichilema said this upon finalizing the 5.8 kilometer health walk which he flagged off at the 22nd Inter-Company Relay, which is been held under the theme, building a stronger and healthier Zambia.
Several companies are currently participating in this year’s 22nd Inter-Company Relay in Lusaka which returned after a 2 year absence as a result of the COVID 19.
A president who is out of touch. Who will take walks on an empty stomach and when they are running around trying to earn a living?
Chief Lying officer, still bruised from the August 12 2021 polls
Excellent advice, but likely to fall on deaf ears! People like driving around in their suvs as a sign of wealth – inadvertently harming their health and churning out air pollutants. With such vast countryside, & excellent weather, people should be out (with the children) walking, or cycling. Let’s walk more, and consume less alcohol.
#plant a tree.
As more than 99% of Zambians can’t afford a car, they HAVE to walk wherever they go anyway. I would suggest the president to walk from his home to State House everyday – then we won’t have to pay for all those police officers lining the roads!
No corruption for first time you have said something sensible unlike that brainwashed c00n zenia
Mbuzi
@4 – uncalled for, nor civil. I have never called you names, why do you feel entitled?
#plant a tree please.
Yes indeed HH is really out in the clouds. The president is supposed to address the nation, not the point 10 percent wealthy elite. Zambia’s poor population doesnt need this advice. They walk everyday from one place to another. They dont, like the president, move around in cars driven by chauffeurs.
THE FACT THAT THE INSULT CAME FROM AN IMP0STER IGNORE IT
HE IS AN 1D10T
TRYING TO MORAL ON HERE DONT WORK
BEST KEEP TO YOU HOUSEHOLD CHORES MADAM
Ba HH we hv bn walking ad its even worse in your leadership on an empty stomach. Your advice falls on deaf ears bcos Zambians are starving, think of how they are surviving with a high cost of living?
When Edgar Lungu took part in running he called him a play boy.
@7 – Is this meant for me…as it has no name! At least, the so called “impostor” is brave enough to mention my name! You, on the other hand, hide behind insinuations, yet are no better than the man you are referring to as the impostor..or, are you one and the same guy, just using different identities so that you can insult people incognito?? Your attempt at appearing to be the better human by suggesting “keeping to household chores” just confirms your reasoning deficit! It’s unbelievable how uncivilised & stupid you are! Even if one had house chores, should their whole life be confined solely to house chores? How condescending and backward! How were you people brought up, in caves??? No awareness of boundaries & totally lacking any social skills! Picking fights with people you…
……you don’t know eh? Trot off!
#plant a tree please!
WESTERN CULTURE AND AFRICAN CULTURE ARE NO DIFFERENT TO OIL AND WATER
TOPIC CLOSED OVER AND OUT
Zennia and tikki you two are a good example of why upnd diasporans abroad are unsuccessful. You fight each other instead of supporting one another. Come back to zambia I employ you. You are just stressing yourselves there. You are even speaking like British now. Brainwashed Africans.
