Nkana Record First Home win

Share

Nkana won their first Super Division game at home today after beat Forest Rangers 3-0 at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe in a Week 10 game.

Nkana have recorded three successive draws at home since the start of the season and today saw them also collect their second three points of the campaign.

The match was evenly poised but Nkana was the more aggressive side in attack but had little to offer in midfielder when Forest and ex-Nkwazi playmaker Friday Kabubi controlled proceedings.

Nkana took the lead in the 7th minute through Evans Kangwa before Victor Mwansa scored his first of two goals of the day in the 22 to see the home side go 2-0 into halftime.

Linos Makwaza’s side sealed the win with the third goal in the 82nd minute to see Mwansa complete his brace.

And across the road at Arthur Davies, Power Dynamos equaled their archrivals feat on the day by also winning 3-0 against Nakambala Leopards.

Nakambala slip from first to second after the defeat and have been replaced at the summit by Red Arrows who finished scoreless with Nchanga Rangers at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
