Power Dynamos Take Top Spot

Share

Power Dynamos are the new Faz Super Division leaders after beating hosts Kabwe Warriors 1-0 away at Railway Grounds in Kabwe today in a Week 13 fixture.

Beston Chambeshi’s team replaces Zanaco at the summit of the table after the former leaders suffered a 1-0 home loss at the hands of Red Arrows played away at Nkoloma Stadium this afternoon.

Power scored the winner in the 3rd minute through midfielder Emmanuel Chimpinde to stretch the Kitwe sides good run away in Kabwe to four games with three wins and a draw over the last four seasons.

The Arthur Davies side will go into the  two week mid-season break with a slender 25 point lead.

Arrows are second also on 25 points but with an inferior goal difference following their away win over Zanaco.

Meanwhile, Arrows’ winning goal came from an Alex Sichone free-kick in the  61st minute of the match.

The game was played at Nkoloma instead of Sunset Stadium as earlier scheduled due to repair works on the perimeter fence at Zanaco’s homeground.

And at the Trade Fair Grounds in Ndola, Zesco United dealt Nakambala Leopards a big psychological blow when they were crushed 3-0.

Derrick Kabwe, Chiford Chipalo scored for Zesco and the pressure was evident on Nakambala who went to concede an own goal scored by Ben Maleka.

Kabwe went on to miss a penalty for Zesco to save Nakambala from further torment.

  2. Congrats ba Sharp it speaks volumes of Keegan Mumba’s techincal ability as well as that of the coaching staff. This seems like your year keep pushing on

  3. EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR last night dealt Blackburn a humiliating snub – insisting he does not want to fight relegation battles.
