Nchanga Rangers say they are excited with the appointment of ex-defender Elijah Tana to the Chingola teams coaching bench.
Tana was appointed assistant coach to Bruce Mwape earlier this week to replace Israel Mwanxz who will instead now coach Nchanga’s junior team.
“Nchanga is where Tana started his playing career and the club he left to start his professional career,” Nchanga chairperson Richard Kazala said.
“I am sure the fans will be happy to see Tana on the bench and we hope to see him contribute to the team’s progress at large.”
Tana’s international career spurned a nine-year period starting in 2000 and captained Zambia to winning bronze at the inaugural Caf African Nations Championship tournament held in Cote d’Ivoire.
His last club was Angolan side Clube Recreativo da Caála whom he left at the end of last season.
Caala was his second Angolan club after earlier playing for Luanda giants Petro Atletico.
Tana has also played for El Merriekh in Sudan and Al Jazira in the United Arab Emirates.
He joins the Nchanga coaching bench with the team currently in 10th place after 13 games played on 15 points, 10 less than leaders Power Dynamos.

Richard Kazala Laski should be removed from Nchanga Rangers he uses the club as his own personal brothel and guest house he should be replaced by Blackwell Siwale thats why Nchanga rangers never win…..Richard kazala laski is cursed…….
Richard Kazala should remain as chair person why should you matete say his cursed are you the one who brought him on this earth?????
Nchanga Rangers my club very soon.
Hope things turn around for Nchanga Rangers, they haven’t been doing well of late
#2 you are very right. In fact there is this stupidd lady Chita who appointed her. Iwe ka Kazala Tana started his football career with Roan United. Don’t mislead the world.Welcome Elijah. By the way I also welcome Kamalasha. Viva Bravo.
My thing is to buy and transform them.watch me.
Muyembe you will not buy them! I’ve already put in a bid for them, sorry mune go elsewhere.
No. 2 Im sure u stay or have lived in Chingola befor. yes Kazala is a liability. he uses Rangers to bounce back into Politics. He once used to **** Dora Siliya, the time she was in Egypt working at our embassy there. Dora used to fly all the way for S.E.X orgies with Kazala.
#2 Richard is far much better that Blackwell Siwale. Blackwell is now bankrupt. All his assets were repossed by his creditors. The guy is a conman and not trustworthy.I know him very well.In fact it is his wife that has made him what he is today. He married his wife when he was some garden boy somewhere in the copperbelt rural.
YES RICHARD IS A BETTER PERSON THAN BLACKWELL.I AGREE WITH #8.
I follow my Brave very clozely from a distance tho, and I knew Kazala somehow even if am not sure he’z the right person to run the team of Rangers’ magnitude, maybe he haz the financez.
Welcome home Elijah and am sure you’ll add some impetus to the team from you vast experience.
Muli makula fye mwe ma ranger
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
# 6 Muyembe. I have also been thinking in those lines. I see most of the bloggers may be young and do not know Brave Nchanga Rangers. May be we can exchange some notes on how we can raise funds and buy our club. We can then appoint qualified personnel to run the club.
pa bwaatoooooooooooooooooooooo……………………!!! viva pf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#13 Dinx, i am one of the oldest Nchanga Rangers supporters still alive. I started supporting Brave Rangers in 1972. Therefore, i still meet some old guys like JK, Davey Sunday and many more who are still alive. It is quite interesting!!
Viva pa bwaatooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to buy Nkana FC next month
# 15 Chapuswike. I can see you are a real Bravo!. Ba Dave Sunday, thats what l m talking about. Lets continue supporting our team.
#6 & 13 That’s progressive thinking. Brave iz KCM sponsored and buying a team in the Zambian context may sound rather new and unique. U have my support in any small way I can to realize that dream. Davy Sande lived not very far from my dad’z home in Chingola. Then we entered Gabbitas free on a queue along the wall through a vertical slide gate near the stream.
Gentlemen much as I am not of Siwale you don’t know Kazala. He insults players and his fellow officials at will. He treats Patrick Nkhata and Jim Chongo like his slaves and knowing Tana he won’t work with him. Kazala is too childish and playful. Like I wrote @ #5 supporters have tried to talk to his appointing KCM official but she can’t give in for obvious reasons…… a woman friend. Imagine Kitchen parties being hosted in change rooms of Nchanga Stadium. What bulllsshit. On Davy Sande Iwill greet him on your behalf #15, 17, 18. Jim Salim and. Mukwangu are very well and in good health.
No 18 u never entered Gabtus free iwe waleba palibalya balelanda ati TATA NSENDENIKO. As for Kazala uunyengela mu stadium he shoud be removed, there are many pipo who can finance Amaranger. For ur own imformation Tana started football in Luanshya when he was being coached by Rangers most succeful coach Fordson Kabole. Changed club and followed the coach after Fordson joined ama Ranger who also recruted Big Moze Sichone. Theyfound the likes of Andrew Sinkala, Laughter Chilembi, Chibuye and James Kachinga . In front they had pipo like Harry Milanzi, Masauso Tembo who were fed by the likes of Kelvin Computer Mwanza and Ronald Mbambara. After that they formed a team of champain futball which saw them beat the likes of South Africas Kaizer Chiefs featuring the likes of Doc Khumalo
#20 Gabbi standz az the only stadium to this day that allowed mostly boyz aged 10+/-2 or so, to free entry and kept them at a central pozition oppozite the grand stand to cheer the team, “Brave!…. Brave!…. Rangers!” There waz a cozy gentleman with a big cow-boy hat to conduct the cheering. Yes if you came long after 13hr00, the free fascility had ended and you either had to climb the wall or get in with some adult if you were smartly dressed, better still wait until 5-10 minutes before the end of the main game when gates would open. Pliz don’t argue, you might not have been there!
No 21 so u used to get on pakankoko eeehhh. Waiting for the revenue collectors to take money to the offices and gets open then u go inn. Nokumona mambala iwee. I dont think u know Gabtus so well, u mean ba Sofia, he used to run around the running track whenever rangers scored. Then theres was ba Kadenge ahh iwe walaleka Kazala amoneneke kwati fingi aishiba pali Rangers nga anjibila amano
Welcome back home Tana. Use your vast experience which you have gained from professional and national duties to revamp the performance of Rangers. Rangers should climb back to where they belong. As one of the oldest teams in the league it is shameful to occupy 10th position on the table. It is not too late to climb back to position no.1. Go Rangers Go. Remember you are a Brave Rangers and that’s who you are.! BRAVO!
#22 Let’s spend our energiez giving support to Brave Rangers while agreeing to disagree. Cheer up mudala and do havagude.
kazala should remain as chair person you haters just hate as kazman does his thing….
kazala should remain rico ma boi u ryt…its up to the players to pull up theie socks men siwale cant do any shit
Nchanga stadium is not a brothel Kazala thats why we are loosing games. First the negroe must be removed then we ll start winning. As for Ichipondo Tana, welcome back, we ll give u all the support you need
Ine nalesangwa pa Kansele nifwebo twaletuka abena Zifa Nkhoma, Alex Makasa, Justin Sampa etc.
