MUVITV
Any news about the FODEP president Mr N’goma? Could he still be anywhere near UPG premises?
Here we go.Zambian pa bwatooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.Zambia is for Zambian.
Good job UPG.You have shamed armchair critics.May the best candidate carry the day.
So you’re proud of a foreign company doing a simple job…where is your pride man…shame on u!!
All campaigns to end at 1800hrs -in theory only but in reality Zambia is always on an electioneering mode 24/7 for 365 days a year.
This is our opportunity as Zambians to start a new slate in our political dispensation. In this election we can say NO to those politicians who are making a living out of politics by sucking more and more from Zambian tax payers. For example Sata has been in office for 47 years and has very little to show for it. Sata was an informer for the colonial government, which means he was even in power even when the rest of Zambia was not yet in power. He was spying on freedom fighters and snitching to his colonial masters. A lot of Deaths of Zambians can be blamed on him. This election let us Vote wisely. Lets send Sata away for good. Vote HH & UPND.
Why are you worried about Sata when its RB who is currently power, i don’t you guys in UPND!!
ca tell me wemwambwa SILIYA finshi acita apart from ukunyengesha, ubucende, ubuule, elo naiwe ulelanda ati SATA has done nothing.wemwana wandoshi.
Waste of money …what is so sophisticated about a mere ballot paper…i bet UPG will hire a South African Cargo plane as the have pride in Country and know the true meaning of empowerment!!
Obviously you are not sophisticated. Sometimes if you don’t understand things try Google first instead of embarrassing yourself. Zambians you just talk TOO MUCH even on things you know shit about. Sometimes just sit and let the people who know discuss things…
wapya munzi, anyway let the winner this time be genuine and the looser will accept, just be transparent ba ecz.
The issue is transparency and ECZ knows very well that their pay check depends on how well they ensure transparency. Be reminded fellow Zambians that all the stakeholders had sent their observers to SA, Someone will cry in ten days time, and some will definitely retire from active politics.
we need to be carefull that PF does not rig this election. It is possible that Dr. Ngoma was their planted agent of doom to still Ballot papers which PF wanted to use to rig these elections. Sata is a know theif and could very easily still ballot booxes and replace them with stuffed ones. The Police should be vigilant and keep Sata in their sights at all times.
FLUSH THEM before they VOTE
WATCH FOR GHOST VOTERS from neighboring Countries. New Govt should imprison any foreigner found voting to more than TEN years as a lesson.
SATA should make it a treasonable case for a foreigner to be found participating in voting.
Viva pa BWATO.
#6 “ati waste of money on a ballot paper”, how unfortunate that u think like that, bet it was too early and you should have been half asleep. i give u and other chance to think and contribute better
LT everything about u is so back ward and unprofessional, only qualifying my speculation that u are a william banda sponsored blog, not even your computers are genuine should have been a donation from china, this article was publiched at on September 11th 2011 at “12:55am” are we puluto? what time is that??????????
VIVA FRESH BLOOD VIA HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
TRUE AND CLEAR…THANK, PF NAIWINER….ILI BAD..HAVE U SEEN THE SITUA BANE?????
lets gooooooooooooooo zambia lets goo pabwato,,, A change!!!!!!!!!!!
I ve for far participated in tripatite elections by voting thrice now and i would say the processes have been more translusent than transparent. I desire to see this years election more transparent than translusent. Vote wisely my people democracy is not so cheap its dear
WHEN WLL AIRTELL STOP CAMPAINING FOR RB THRUGH SMS? WE ARE TIRED OF BEING DISTURBED EVEN IN THE NIGHT,, TWACULA PAFULA….. VOTE FAFASI, PA BOTTOM…MWAMUKOLO
TO ALL TEACHERS IN ZAMBIA,
YOU HEVE SEEN HOW OUR UNION LEADERS HAVE BEEN BOUGHT BY MMD. PLS, GO AND VOTE WISELY ON 20/09.
WE HAVE HOPE ONLY IN THE CHANGE OF GOVERNMENT. VOTE THE MOST POPULR CANDIDATE WHO IS ASSOCIATED TO ACTION AND ANTICORRUTION STANCE,
IMAGINE DORA SILIYA AGAIN??THINKING ABOUT SEX ALL THE TIME IN OFFICE!!!
# 16, I too desire that voting closes on the 20th itself and announcing of results to follow alphabetically by constituency, not what we have experienced in the past where results of perceived opposition strongholds are first to be announced
When two (2) big dogs are figthing the young one takes the meat. Watch the young 20th.
Failure to vote wisely will lead to poverty, may the best candidate win.
#17, I hope that you are serious. Certain people would insult you for those comments, but I like to educate others so that we all become an enlightened community. Results are announced as soon as they are collected and collated from the various polling stations. The so called “opposition strongholds” are mostly urban areas where communication (roads, telephones etc) is easier). Hence the results from these areas will come first. The rural areas have special challenges in the areas of infrastructure mentioned above, hence the results tend to come in last. Compare Kitwe to Shang’ombo if at all you have been to a rural area.
Bull Shit. In this technological era arrangements can be made before hand to put in place ways and means of communicating either by Satellite phone or fax or other applicable means possibble. So your reasoning does not hold water. So much money spent on elections without priotising how results will be communicated. How much does a Satellite phone or fax cost? Very manageable if you compare the money spent on elections. For your own information some of your ministers do have Satellite phones and fax machines. Very very selfish people indeed who only consider what can benefit them and not what can benefit the masses.
#17, On the other hand, if results were announced alphabetically by constituency, results would be delayed for many hours even when they are ready. If results are delayed in that manner I leave it up to you to imagine the security implications in a country that is so polarized. To drive the point home, for example just imagine what unruly PF cadres under the command of Winter Kabimba or Guy Scott would attempt to do to the ballots if they knew that they were losing in certain areas.
GUARD THE BALLOTS PROPERLY…IYI YENA NA TU WINNER…VIVA PF
Keep dreaming!you can only win on a national basis. Thus Mmd wins!Too bad!
Well done UPG, I doubt that Government Printer could manage such a tight schedule even if they well equipped to handle the job.
On the other hand fellow bloggers, this election would not have been possible without UPG. As we all know, certain opposition parties and the POST were on a strategy to destroy our confidence in all public institutions including ECZ. If they knew that they are losing the election, it would have been easy to plant their cadres in the Government Printers, sneak a few ballots out and claim that it was part of RB’s plan to rig the elections. Eventually these elections would have been postponed for lack of credibility, there is no doubt about that. Well done ECZ and government for thwarting those evil plans and ensuring that Zambians practise their democratic rights as enshrined in their constitution.
Fellow Zambians vote wisely and kick RB and MMD out to restore your dignity and ensure that your country remains under your control. RB is mortgaging this country to foreigners and this is your only chance. As it stands only PF can win as an opposition – so give democracy a chance by respecting the wishes of the people. 2016 will henceforth be ready for the likes of Chipimo, Malupi etc. Once again vote tactically for the future of zambia by ousting RB
Bushe Ba Dora balifundwa. Kuti wabula ilyashi lya kucipindo elyo waleta palwalala? Kabili kuti walalanda ati balekukumbwa abaume ninshi tebuule ubu. Ninshi afwaya ukutombwa kwashani uyu mukashana?
Icho chintu….awe mwandi.lol
On “She says to this effect, all media bodies, public and private organizations, and individuals should not publish or broadcast political party or candidate campaign information after 18:00 hours on September 18, 2011.” Â this is timely advice and I hope all will abide by it.
B prepared to accept HH of UPND as our next Zambian President when h shall be announced as winner should this happen. Fornow, all I can confidently norm you all is that HH and th Real Change UPND Team hav done their ground campaign ork effectively and they will this week probably end it with Luapula Province:

Keeping the promisE
Mark me right these ballot papers have already been manipulated by MMD and they will carry the day on 20th September 2011.:o
I wonder if pf will try and petition a complaint to the UN, SADC, or even God, about the plane that is going to be used to bring the ballot papers from Durban to Lusaka? Or maybe it will be the pilot or the plane that is transporting the papers that they will have issue with? Maybe the time that the papers will arrive in Lusaka will give an unfair advantage to MMD? They may complain about the biased political system in Zambia which allows other parties to stand against them and take this to the Hague or ICC or to some courts in Afghanistan……………
I rest my case. Thank you #27.
Zambians amaze me..people like #27..bushe in which world do u live..u are the kind that denies your child until the day u die..even after a DNA test..a whole delegation from political parties has attended and verified the printing..no reports of extra copies coming to state house in Zambia..but people still want to insinuate that MMD has done something with the papers..WHAT EXACTLY? invisible ink nonsesne? im sure people who claim that can even hear just how foolish they sound when saying it..tsk..
We all know that arabee campagn messages will continue being shown on ZNBC til the elections date.
PF cadres, you did not spot the misnomer: “MD-Eleven Charter Cargo Plane”. Is it not “MMD-Eleven Charter Cargo Plane”? Lol! How could you miss this when in Nakonde ECZ truck case you were so vigilant? I rest my case, don’t say I did not warn you :-)
9 days to continue with development and more roads.Mr Bwezani Banda we are behind you and you will have the easiest victory in your career and you will still remain unbeaten
THIS JUST INDICATES HOW BACKWARDS ZAMBIA IS,FAILURE TO PRINT SIMPLE BALLOT PAPERS,IT SHOWS HOW ZAMBIA IS BACKWARDS IN TECHNOLOGY,PAPER PRINTING IS A SOMETHING WHICH CUD BE DONE LOCALLY TO REDUCE THE EXPENSES.WHAT WAS SO COMPLICATED ABOUT PRINTING THEM LOCALLY?THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE OF FAILURE BY THE MMD GOVERNMENT TO PUT IN PLACE NEEDED TECHNOLOGIES AND RELATED LOGISTICS TO CARRY OUT THE WORK LOCALLY.PEOPLE THE CHOICE YOURS TO PUT IN AN ACTION ORIENTATED PEOPLE,OR CONTINUE LAGGING BEHIND EVEN IN SIMPLE THINGS.MMD IS A COMPLETE FAILURE,ONLY GOOD AT ENCOURAGING CORRUPTION.YOU THE SAME PEOPLE THAT WILL BE COMPLAINING,SUFFRING AND CRYIN FOR THIS AN THAT.THIS IS YOUR TIME,DON’T REPEAT HISTORY BY VOTING A PARTY THAT CAN SIDE WITH PEOPLE,SPEAK FOR PEOPLE,ACTION ORIENTED PARTY PF.VIVA PF.
#34 SORRY I MEANT”VOTE A PARTY THAT CAN SIDE WITH PEOPLE,SPEAK FOR PEOPLE,ACTION ORIENTED PARTY PF.VIVA PF.”
I am told that MMD are using witchcraft which means that even if you put an ‘x’ to somebody other than RB, that ‘x’ magically appears besides RB’s name and picture.
DISAPPOINTED ZAMBIAN – muleba ko sensible sometimes. Even in America and UK, probably the most advanced democracies politically on Earth, they announce election results as they come in. You can’t wait until all the hundreds of constituencies have voted and counted and sent their results in that is when you start announcing the numbers. If Zambia was being ruled by you we would have been 100 years back. And only PF supporters think the way you do and that is why we can’t have PF rule this country ever. Sometimes think a bit and use your brain before exposing your ignorance.
#27 – Your viewpoint doesn’t matter. What matters is that the observers who were sent to monitor the printing of papers have approved the process, certified and allowed the ballots to be shipped to Zambia. Your opinion right now is a howl in the wind, especially when it is as daft as it is. We are all now looking forward to the voting day. Those that still want to live in the past talking about rigging of ballot papers when everybody else has moved on from that subject, we will let you remain behind.
VIVA RB VIVA RB
You fool what do mean viva rb? ufuta rb must go and leave space for fresh breathing. him & willie are insane….viva change to zambia viva PF.
# 34 SPIDERMAN – if you are as clever as you want to claim why haven’t you invented a ballot-printing machine abena? Ninshi kulakondema fyonse and yet you offer no solutions. Whose fault is it that Zambia has never invented its own car, or printing machine? Is it still MMD’s fault? You just sit there with verbal diarrhoea and yet you offer no solutions. You are supposed to be in your lab inventing. Zambians talk a lot and there is no diference between men and women, infact men talk a lot more than women!!! Muletusebanya sana. If you say Zambia is backward, then it is YOU who is backward! Bangwele muletontokanyako before ukubwata!!
U’RE VERY RUDE AND BACKWD JST LIKE RB.WHN THE TRUTH IS SAID ABT SOMETHIN,PIPO CONCERNED FEEL OFFENDED AN COME OUT BITTERLY,N-WAY I CAN’T BLAME U 4 THAT.IN ZAMBIA WE HAVE LOCAL PRINTING COMPANY AND FOR THAT MATTER GOVNT OWNED,THEY SHOULD HAV BEEN UPGRADED WITH NEEDED EQUIPMENT TO CARRY OUT THE WORK AS SIMPLE AS THAT,BUT THE GOVNT U’RE SUPPORTING FAILED.IT SEEMS U HAVE A PROBLEM IN USIN YR COMON SENSE ON SIMPLE THINS JUST LIKE RB,U’RE BIRDS OF THA SAME FEATURE.I DONT HAV TO INVENT A PRINTING MACHIN,JST BUY SIMPLE.THY’RE THERE ALREADY,.ZAMBIA IS WHT IT IS(BACKWARDS) COZ OF FOOLS LIKE U(RB TYPE)COZ U HATE TO BE CORRECTED,AND WHN PIPO SAY THE TRUTH U FEEL INSULTED,SO ARE U TRYIN 2 TELL ME THAT ZAMBIA IS ADVANCED IN TECH?THE TRUTH IS THER FOR ALL TO SEE,IT SPEAKS FOR IT SELF.
These campagns ar sapoz to end on monday the 19th at 18hrs nt on 18th as indicated by da ecz. We kno dat thy hav reserve 19th for rb to campagn on znbc, times, daily watch dog and muvi-tv. Bt rmber its count down 2sept 20. Think, act & ‘VOTE WISELY’ 2liberate zambia remember its ‘DON’T KUBEBA’ DON’T KUKAMBA’ DON’T KULABILA!
This is very good and shows transparent. The question that remain is “Can’t UPG continue to print ballot papers after 13th and deliver them before the election? I am just worried with controls put in place for this printing company and stakeholders.
Our Focus will now shift towards screening all Cargo coming into the Country from now on. We will still remain suspitious until after the last ballot has been counted and recorded. At this time, let’s scruitinise all Air and Land cargo coming from South Africa, Namibia, Angola and through the DRC. MMD will not have any thing easy this year.
#41 In other words you will continue on your wild goose chase. I guess if you have nothing better to do with your time, you might as well engage yourself in another Nakonde  fruitless exercise as you people never learn. Fortunately, we live in a democratic country and you are free to waste your time as you wish as long as you dont endanger the lives of innocent law abiding people. As for MMD not having it easy, I think you will find that it is pf that has not had it easy at all – parentage case thrown out, Sata collapsing, opinion polls predicting a MMD win, lack of funds for campaign material to name but a few.
the closure of campaigns on 18 will allow zambians 2 days reflection period which is healthy,,,Weldone upg…vote wisely zambians…HH CHABE.
ZNBC is rubish. I wonder why they don’t bring Pa Bwato campaigns. We need a full coverage.
Today next week (18:00) marks the end of slogans such as donchi kubeba; chwee, chwee, chwee; pabwato; pankoloko etc.
No more wearing of Chitenges, all zambians in neutral civil etire, no campaign songs any more, no debates. No group meetings permitted of any sort except by clergy for purpose of pray. No unexplained gatherings, etc.
Come 20th Sept 2011, let us all walk quitely and attend to the secrete ballot.
It is good that all parties have their cadres celebrating through campaign songs they are playing and singing. at least all parties have celebrated in advance, because after 20th only one party will celebrate. Let the most popular and most liked party with the most liked president carry the day.
The real change campaign was in Luapula yesterday and is now on the copperbelt. The real change team is moving like wild fire. The team will touch Central, Livingstone, strategic parts of western province before heading to lusaka for the wrap up. the year is 20HH. Haters can say what they like we don’t give a toss!!
In my view RB has already managed to bring the long awaited change we have all been talking about.
RB has shown that it is possible to accelerate development and meet deadlines 20 years before they are even due.
RB has shown that what Zambians thought was impossible to do with the available resources is actually possible.
RB is old but full of young strenght to do the work.
Indeed RB is a ‘man of action’.
He promisses and delivers on the promises.
Why should campaign end on 18th instead of 18:00hrs19th Sept? What will be going on during this one day of no activity? What is ECZ planning to do that day? Will they be distributing some fake ballots in some constituencies? Compaign will go on up to 19th, that is the law.
#52 montifg
Do you think you campaign keeps ECZ from doing what they aught to do??
With or without campaign on 19th, ECZ can still carry on with their schedules.
I am trying to follow you reasoning, which appears to be too deep.
Americans know that Democracy is not absolute that’s why they have Republic stroke democracy-Â
So ZNBC will not have any news item on 18th and 19th since their news is RB this RB that, Siliya this, Siliya entiicing men with fasa engines, Simutanyi this on RB, Lifwekenyo and Chifwiti that. It will be shhhhh on those days. DONCHI KUBEBA
Lusaka Times, note that the closing time for campaigns is Sunday 06hrs and not 18hrs.
Please put on Red on the Polling day. I will do just that to show MMD the RED Card instantly. We’re sick and tired of this corrupt regime. Guys, let us talk to whoever we can, but please for that one day let the entire Country spend there night at the polling station guiding our votes up and until the last vote has been counted and results announced by the ECZ in Lusaka (Confirmed by oursleves in the field as true). Please spare us your sleep and let’s all spend our nights at the polling stations. If you suspect there will be rigging at any one polling station, please let us go there early enough so we seal out everything.
