She joined on the podium the Zambia netball team who also won bronze and Chess Fide Master Daniel Jere won silver.
The team returns home on Monday evening.
GOOD JOB GUYS,GO VOTE FOR SATA.
GOOD WORK DANIEL JERE. KEEP IT UP. WE WANT YOU TO BE AN INTERNATIONAL GRANDMASTER!
DIgusting even a small country, in any sense of the word you can think of , got more Medals than Zambia. This is so shameful and sports administrators in Zambia ought be to ashamed and resign
Even a small Country like Rwanda got more medals than Zambia!!!
What would have happened had we hosted the games!? Only three medals….!!!
winning medals takes a while to achieve. it is hard work and a great investment of time and money.I am a PE teacher and am at pains with the lack of clearly set out strategies in almost all sports organisations in Zed.As for the just ended games , i think there is always the reassurance that we are capable of achieving more.If not 3 may be 6 next time. However, how many sports managers in the different sports organisations are are willing to serve as true volunteers so that resources actually go into required progrmammes? There is a clear lack of sustainable sports development programs in country. E.g., what happened to the much publicised Talent Identification Program that was meant to train athletes for the just ended games?
Bwaaaaaaa ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
First, Zambia lamentably failed to host the games. Secondly, the games are held “next door” and Zambia still underachieves. There is something very wrong with Zambia. Maybe the motto should change to “Zambia: the land of underachievers.”
Congratulation to all the athletes that came back with medals. Though I think we could have done better if preparations for the Games had been well planned and started a year before. It is sad that those that are in the forefront continue blaming the athletes for the poor show when infact they are the ones to blame for not adequately preparing the athletes. Most of the athletes thata were sent to the games had the potential of doing fine had the Ministry of Sport, NOCZ, NSCZ and the associations worked together as one. Shame on you for the poor results and hope you find it possible for you to resign from your positions so that there’s new blood in the sports industry. All you do is shop at these games and you good at it.Shame on you
We need more facilities like Ndola stadium and ukulya bwino before we can compete effectively.
