I like the first photograph. More like a boxer just about to unleash the final punch. Aha! A tard too late!
all the best Michael we love you!
These look like cramped quarters to be holding an inauguration ceremony.Could they not have done it in a stadium where the dais is more visible to everyone.?Ha,that man Guy Scott seems like he’s drunken with power already.
Why was the small Podium so squeezed up? They could have created space for the Presido so that all is visibly clear.
Nice pictures, when was the inauguration ceremony?
As for Guy Scott, get used to him because he is gonna be the vice President of Zambia.
I understand the inauguration ceremony is suppose to be held at the high court.
Dr Kaunda a very good instrument for peace and unity to our country since his ideology of one zambia one nation, the pictures shows a unity of purpose amongst zambians despite our different political views. Rb,sata and dr kaunda thats the spirit we need in zambia.
…looking forward to the new leadership. No drama and revenge please, lets all work towards a positive development.
What a wonderful moment, people are so happy, joyous and peaceful. The photoes alone speaks volumes for the people of Zambia. Glory be to God Almight for the peaceful transition of power. Am humbled by RB and his excellence mr. Sata. May the good Lord protect, guide and give you wisdom as u lead the nation Zambia.

Thanks for the pictures LT. For those of us who could not be there, the more we miss home. I am very proud of all our 3 presidents in pic #1 – all so humble, so mature, so genuine and so full of love for their people and country.
Waiting for the working smaller, efficient cabinet. When is it coming?
Hats off to RBB. You stepped down with grace.
Congrats to Sata for perservering. Its been a long road to power. Hope you learn from your predecessors.
Hats off to our former presidents Dr Kaunda and RB, you have put Zambia on world map for democracy. You make our country look mature and stable. Unlike other African Leaders like Mugabe. Kibaki??
Keep up the Good work our Good Leaders. RB despite the MMD mistakes, we salute you on your good Moral acts as a true leader. You make us Proud.
To: President SATA, please embrace younger Zambians to be part of your leadership. VIVA PF Kubeba Nomba.
RB matole yakwe refused to step down. Please don’t praise him
# 16 Mule…you are stupid i wonder what kind of a home you came from….no respect.
Pic 1. Very refreshing. Just speaks so much of what Zambeziland stand for. Shall we have an enlarged portrait of these three smiling Presidents.
I would recommend it for a ‘book cover’ for some proficient writers on ‘Democracy’. Bet you, it is catchy! I love it: x
How things change overnight, most of you bloggers on LT were insulting SATA, now you are singing praises, any way thats human nature. Now we start waiting for the 90 day miracle, 3 days have gone already.
#17, AM IN SHOCK SEEING PEOPLE SINGING PRAISES TO OUR PRESIDO!
INSANSA KU CHINJANYA! PEOPLE ARE NOW IN THE OPPOSITION. LOL
musalu walipanshi…………….ilelo ulipamulu!
Is this the same MMD cadre justice Sakala who a few months ago refused to shake president Sata’s hand? He must be feeling ashamed of himself, never thought this day would come.
What a momentous occazion this haz been. The celebrationz from 00h35 Friday are have more than the revolution of 1991.

One thing we can all learn from these pictures:
Don’t let anybody tell you that you cannot do it.
Don’t let anybody tell you that your mission is impossible.
Look them straight in the eye and tell them “You’re wrong! My mission is possible! Yes, I can!”
Pics 2 & 3, RB’s face just below the balloons, what ever was going through his mind. Anyway we salute you for peacefully handing over power. You can only appreciate if you see how other countries and their people who have not handled these electoral matters are suffering.
Pic #1. Sata to RB, “Wamona mwaice, nalikwebele ati kanku poka aka puna.” Rb,” Inde Mbuya, mwe labila, hehehe.” KK says to Sata, “Iwe Chikamba, muleke umunobe, aloshi bwino.” Justice Sakala mentally, “These Zambian MFs have crowned this guy? What will he do with me?”
Just the right excuse to spend X-mas and new year at home chi RB is gone, his crooks MMD are no more…the only is UP! keep it up LT…thanx for keeping us updated during the campaign period! Cheers!
WE MISSED!!! BUT WHERE WAS THE 1ST LADY? BA LT WE NEEDED TO SEE THE WOMAN WHO HAS BEEN AT SATA ‘S SIDE ALL THE TIME HE WAS HUMILIATED.
Mr. Rupiah Banda has nothing to be sad about. From now, he’s assured a hefty check, compliments of the Zambian tax payers, till his death and he doesn’t have to work another day. He’s all smiles. Having been president rocks; but I don’t know about cabinet members.
thanks LT for the pics especially to some of us who couldnt be there. im proud to be a zambian and looking forward to comin back home, But where is DORA SILIYA hiding? My message to her is never come out from where ever you are hiding. Pf cadres are going to eat your bums as you wished
