KK pays tribute to the Church

KK-cantebury — First republican president Dr.Kenneth Kaunda and the Archbishop of Cantebury Rowan Williams

First Republican President Kenneth Kaunda has paid tribute to the Anglican Church for promoting peace and unity in the World.

Dr. Kaunda says the world needs spiritual guidance and healing in order for people to live in peace as brother and sister irrespective of race.

The First President was speaking when visiting Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams called on him at his office in Lusaka on Tuesday.

Dr. Kaunda says Zambia cherishes the role the Anglican Church plays in spreading the gospel.

And Archbishop Williams has praised Dr. Kaunda for championing the fight against HIV/AIDS in Zambia and Africa.

Archbishop Williams says his church will continue partnering with government and other organisations in fighting HIV/AIDS in society.

#15 am equally suspicious it seems Rowan is not an odinary Bishop even KK gives him some unusual respect. look at the way he (KK ) is standing, it is as though his knees are bent. These guys are likely to legalise homosexuallity during an atmosphere of euphoria.
