  1. Like bonetti has put it this year’s afcon will determine kalu and renard’s destiny.this team is a total failure.if we can draw with nambia wat team are we going to beat at the afcon competition. Ni ma rubbish ya team

  2. This is utter rubbish, our team is good but the coach and kalu are the problems. Namibia is beatable, what is this- 0:0. Surely, after the afcon, i can’t wait to see those who poisoned Dario, Kalusha and Renard being fired!!

  3.  how can a team win in a tournament whose coaching staff gets satisfied with a chain of draws with teams that failed to qualify for the tournament? ma rabbish.

  4. 1 up to 5 all comments coming from one person.Your comment is based on Kalusha talk football not a human being sha!Coming to the game, its dissappointing to draw with namibia but its becouse they were also trying to prove a point,no under dogs in football. All we need now is faithfully wait for Afcon.Go chipolopolo go.

  5. This is total rubbish. Which team then can Zambia beat if they can draw with Namibia. I am sorry guys to say that our team is a disgrace.

  6. Twaamba ukusakamana. Whrs my man Mayuka? I am a keen follower of Zambian football but these things we are hearing is not health for this team. Looks like it ll be first round elimination.

  7. The other point is theres just too much media publicity in the team, i really dont know maybe we are moving wth the world or the President is just too much of himself in believing what is impossible. the best we can do again is quarter finals and not semi. Its a fact, I watched soccer africa whre the president acknoledged that we would be playing for six points out of nine, that means wll loose to senegal and hoping we win the last two games that makes it six. From group two we expect Ivory Coast to top the group and if we come second in our group we ll be playing Iv Coast in the quarter finals. Do u think Zambia can score Against Ivory Coast? It ll be a masacre. If they ll can eliminate Ivory coast then I bet they can go all the way and win the CUP

  8. “We just need to move one step forward to winning games.” janza u should have moved ‘one step forward’ months ago not this time with the tournament around the corner. these guys are a disgrace, I’d be surprised if they would even come out of the group stage coz I don’t see them beating libya let alone senegal.

  9. Let me also add my voice. We should not rush to demonise the team, I think what the team needs at this time is our support. However, my worry is the inability of our team to score goals, I hear they wasted a lot of chances. What we are lacking right now are strikers who are hungry for goals and clinical finishers. Even the midfield needs some players who can score goals. At this moment we don’t have much to do but to rally behind the team and wish them the very best at AFCON. After all big teams failed to qualify go Zambia go.

  10. Its very sad for our coaching staff to be happy of draws, and which one step is he talking about. What’s the importance of these games is it not to show us everything they have learnt. These guys already know their fate, its 1st round elimination. If you can’t beat namibia then which team can we beat. Forget abt beating libya coz the war is over and they are in the right frame of their minds now. Forget abt EG as well

  11. Its Renard’s characteristic: to score very very very few goals if any or to draw. Whoever won a tournament without scoring?

  12. Fact file:Zambia National team were beaten by City of Lusaka 2 – 1 in their last preparatory match for the 1974 Africa cup of Nations.Zambia went all the way to the finals in that tournament.Zambia National team drew 1 all against a division one select team on their way to the 1988 Olympic games.Zambia reached the quarter finals of that tournament beating Italy 4 – 0 on the way.

  13. Honor Janza, I honestly can not find Honour in drawing a blank against footballing non-entities like Namibia. I’ve always vowed never to support Chipolopolo each time they have disappointed but I keep getting back in the mood the very next game they play. Good luck Chipolopolo but Don’t just come back to Zed if fail to live to our expectations this time around.

  14. When there has been no significant change in preparation how do you expect to go far! Everytime we fail at these championships we all cry for blood as we already are! Let us be realistic and have a solid change to our soccer in this country before we expect rewards! You can’t reap what you haven’t sowed!! Too much talent gone to waste all these years! Let’s demand change!!

  15. Is it too early to writeoff our time. If they just one one game I guess comments will change. if they beat Nambia 7-0 would you be happier?? Chill. Our game is great, our coach is great.. We shall deliver when it matters…

  16. wait for the opener..we are going to crush the unfit teranga lions, finish the job with libya which we left hanging, weep eq guinea so that the coach from brazil can be put on the first plane back home..i hope ivory coast does not manage to dodge us in the quarter finals..they are the team to beat in the tournament..we have nothing to lose but a lot to gain..they have never being a team but indivduals and thats y algeria beat in 2010 quarters.

  17. ooh by the way..ghana drew 1 a piece with bafana bafana j side..remember the j side cast a dark cloud on our hopes the other day. c…… its not the friendly/practice matches which matter but what will happen come saturday in 90mins. its going to be a tournament of surprises and some so called big teams will join nigeria, egypt, cameroon, algeria and bafana bafana after the first round..

  18. But kwena some coaching staff “fipuba sana” to be satisfied with such terrible performances against week teams on the continent like SA and NAM. Ba Janza you should be shamed of yourself.

  19. the zambian players treated this match exactly how it was…a practice. it wasnt a cup final, it wasn’t a qualifier..just a practice match. It would be stupid for the players to give 100% and get injured playing against South Africa C side and Namibia then miss the Afcon. As long as the boys got a run out and the coach got a chance to test some formations.. I am sure we will do well in Afcon.. and as #23 says,.. Ghana (yes..Ghana..the world cup quarter finalists) drew with an even poorer south african side than the one we played.

  20. Preparatory gamez don’t necessarily determine the destiny of a team in football. What comez into play iz the psycological, physiological preparedness and attitude when it matterz most. Forget this illuzion of surprizing or cauzing upsets against the so called favorites, becauze everyone iz at AFCON on merit. Can only wish the boiz the best and do hope the issue of money haz been thoroughly and deligently exhuasted. We don’t want to hear that Eric Mwanza or Boniface Mwamelo waz moving with some dollarz in hiz FAZ jacket.

  21. Can someone tell me why great teams like Brazil always wins even in practise matches? and why do we have to lose or draw and expect to win in the actual tournament? Give me an example of a team which performed badly just before the tournament and won it?

  22. The time when zambia used to lose 4-0 to egypt are back.this time thru senegal.Just when zambians thot our chance has come to go upto the final another stumbling block has just appeared—senega as the zambians would want to call it.Lets 4get about the Africa cup.lets now concentrate on having new pipo in FAZ and see where the new crop FAZ leaders can take us.shame shame shame.

  23. Denmark won the Euro championship in 1992. They did not just perform badly before the tournament, they actually did not qualify and only got there due to the breakup of Yugoslavia!!! Have faith in the team (Chipolopolo). The boys give their 100%. Psychologically, Zambia is not intimidated by Senegal, it might actually be the other way round due to some beatings we have given Senegal in the past.

  24. #27 here is what u want. For Brazil to qualify to the 2002 world cup they had to play what we call play off game.they had a poor results in their group but were best losers in their group and had to play the play off.thats how they qualified and went on to win the world cup.hope i have assisted u mr silent voice.google these things mr silent voice.all what we talk about 90% are documented on the internet except we do not know the websites.but doing the google helps.
